"Hrm and who might you two be?" Asked Jericho as he looked towards the Tamer and her small, cat-like Digimon. He was holding a rather large map with him as well as a large rusted shield on his back, it was almost an impossible sight, he held a legendary shield known in the digital world as Aegis, yet it was too bruised and beaten to possibly be the real thing.

Guile hissed and growled as crouched down to all fours like a feral beast, his eyes changing to their reptilian appearance once more. His tail stood up on end as if sending a warning not to get any closer.

"Your threats don't frighten us, we have committed no crime. However you come towards me and my partner with hostility and that I cannot allow!" Said the young man with passion in an over-dramatic fashion, his scarf blowing in the breeze.

"My Shield, would you mind toning it down a notch, these people are serious, but so are we!" Guile stood up on the balls of feet standing a few inches taller then Jericho. He let out a snarl as he removed his tamer's archaic Digivice from his pocket and handed it to him.

Jericho flicked the wheel on his hand-held until it was set to its proper mode. [Engage Combat vs Tamer . . . OK] The young man lifted his hand towards the other pair, signaling Guile to attack.

With great speed the Guilmon leapt at the Gatomon, his claws glowing white and cracking some as they hardened. "Rock Breaker!"

Guile let out a surprised yelp as his body was sent into a thick rock. The boulder cracked some as the reptile emerged ready to attack once more. His nostrils were flaring with embers but he knew better then to attack without orders from his tamer.

"Guile your dealing with a Champion level Digimon, a Nature Spirit, it matches with your Dragon's Roar attribute, you can either have an advantage or a disadvantage so don't let up. Use an attack from the Dragon's Roar family not one of the Metal Empire."

Guile sprang back to life with new found vitality as his maw surrounded itself in a fierce flame, his reptilian slits flaring with the new found knowledge of a dead-locked type contest. He coughed out a powerful ball of fire towards the Gatomon, it landing near her feet, he didn't even attempt to make contact with her. Guile and Jericho let out a simultaneous smirk as they both exclaimed the name of this attack at once. "Fire Grenade!"

Exclaimed the pair as the small orb burst with powerful force.

Jericho spun his digivice in his hand as he drew a card from his satchel. He flashed the card towards its opponent. [Card Slash . . .OK] "Card Slice: Fire Crystal!" exclaimed Jericho as he passed the card through his hand-held device causing Guile's body to ignite further increasing the power of his Dragon's Roar attribute but also weakening his body further to Nature Spirit based abilities. For a vagabond Jericho knew much about the Digimon game then most would lead on, he was a well-known player before being sent to the digital world yet he was a hermit and people only knew him from his alias which he never revealed. If he was going to be famous it would be from his efforts with Guile, not from past experiences.

Guile lifted both of his arms into the air as his claws began to glow a bright red, a burst of flames emitting from them due to the card's effect. "Killer Crimson Sword!" roared the reptile as he charged towards the blinded Gatomon, hoping to tear a gash in her chest.

Ruby continued to lick her paws as Jericho and Guilmon stood their, powering up. He had no idea how open he could be. Ruby was enjoying the teasing she was giving, just like a cat with a mouse in her claws. And this cat was about to use her claws. She watched as the Guilmon's claws burst into flames, standing up and getting ready to dodge. When Guilmon drew close she moved under him, just getting cut by the claws. She yowled as she turned around to attack the Guilmon form behind, running up his spine to the top of his head. "Power isn't everything. Cat's Eye." She said, staring into the eyes of Guilmon.

Ruby wasn't going to let this digimon free when she had him right where she wanted him. The cat jumped off of Guilmon into the air, coming back down towards Gatomon. "Neko Kick." She called, her paws glowing with energy. The kick connected with Guilmon's head, a second one appearing from the left, to send the guilmon flying. Gatomon landed prefectly, waiting for the guilmon to get up. She didn't put enough energy in her attack to knock him out, yet.

Ruby was shocked to see Guilmon get up in Armor. Something about this seemed familiar. She was sure she had read about this back at Vaccine Tower. But she didn't have time to remember, the Guilmon was attacking her. She dodged the Tomahawk flying at her, a projectile like that wasn't hard for someone with cat reflexes.

She looked back towards the guilmon, who was already up at her, attacking. He had gotten faster and she didn't have time to dodge. She was hit back as the Tomahawk connected with her. She flipped in the air, landing on her feet. She tried to keep her an air of confidence around her, but in reality the blow hurt her a fair bit. "Nice moves. I will have to step it up." She said, charging forward in what at first seemed like a simple straight line, until she turned off, running around the guilmon. Suddenly the number of Gatomon's increased, going form 2 to 4 to 8 and at least about 20 Gatomon's ran around Guilmon.

The Gatomon dispersed as Guilmon attacked a section of them. Guilmon had missed, but of course this defense was designed to make sure she would protected for one attack. The images disappeared Leaving the real Gatomon on the other side of the battlefield. "You still don't have enough speed." She called.
