Loki raised a brow. So he'd finally found a celestial-blooded who was interested in raising the dead. Maybe he could seduce her after all. "For that, my dear, we'd have to go to the cemetary...unless you know of some dead bodies around here."

She shrugged and glanced back at the water.
However I believe I need to be getting hom soon as I'm expecting guests
she sadly replied,releaseing loki's arm and parting away.
perhaps will will meet again?I'd like that alot.
she waved and disapperead behind the lake's bushes,hading in the direction of her manor.
((sorry sunny,had to go.school is starting and I didn't want to have to leave you waiting for a week for a reply.))

Loki watched her go, a grin upon his face. "Yes, I hope we do." With that, he turned and walked back to his cousin to finish up the picnic. After they two were done, they packed up and headed back to the manor.

ShtrDrNGry Animals?! Kimiko giggled, pausing to look to Quinn. She shook her head and snuggled to his arm again as she lead him further from the cemetary. Well, I like large cats...and little birds? She told him, tilting her head to think on this. Aquatic animals are good, too. she giggled, glancing to him as they walked. What kind do you like? * Quinn thought. He coudl feel himself becoming mroe and more lagged now that it was deffiently around midnight, his jet lag finally telling him it was time to sleep. They were walking on a path through a thicket of trees now, all tall and blocking out the moon most of the time, it's face playing hide and go seek in the braches and leaves. In the distence if he focused he could see something glitter it's reflection. "Is that... is that the lake? The one with the cabins? Or is this a different one?" he asked Kimiko curiously. He hadn't truly recognized his surroundings, so it COULD be another lake... or just the other side for all he knew...

Oh, specifics? She giggled, letting go of his arm to take a couple steps ahead to look to the glassy water. I like white siberian tigers, and black panthers...Humming birds and zebra finches...she giggled and glanced over her shoulder to him. The cabins are on the other side of the lake, so come on! she gestured out towards him before moving closer to the shoreline, looking to Quinn rather than paying attention to where she was walking as she stepped out over the water, as if it were thick glass.

After all teh weird thigns hapinging to him in the past 48 hours, a goddess walkign on water wasn't much of a suprise. But him.... he watched her feet step out on the seemingly solid, but most certainly not, surface.
"Umm.... I'm no Jesus.... I.... I can't walk on water. I don't even know any spells that could help me walk on water..... I kinda suck at spells...." he scratched nervously at the back of his head. All he really knew all that much was potions. Isn't wasn't his fault it was extreamly difficult to study casting spells from books.... his short stays at varied magic schools only gave him a very weak hold on what he was supposed to do for spells..... you needed guidence commonly for such things... and natural ability... which he had little of. Potions.... you could do from a book like recipes.... but he didn't remember any 'walk on non-solid substences' potions he could make off hand... let alone he didn't have th supplies for one..... and Quinn stopped his head from babbling becasue really, it was pointless.
"Isn't there... a bridge... or something I could use?"

Kimiko looked to him a moment before realizing she wasn't home anymore. She blushed and sort of covered her mouth before giggling, shaking her head to Quinn. I'm sorry...she giggled, pressing her lips together as she moved her hands to sort of smooth her skirts. She let her eyes fall shut a moment before letting a burst of light eminate from her, sort of as though she'd taken a picture. When the light faded, the water's surface lay still, and reflected the lights more so like glass. She giggled and shifted to one knee to knock on the surface, as though showing the boy that it was okay. This'll take a lot less time to get to the cabins - It's perfectly sturdy, so why don't you just try it? She urged, giggling slightly as she pulled herself back to her feet.

Quinn timidly stepped out onto the lakes surface, expecting it to be slippery like ice, but it was more along the lines of linolium. He took a few more wary steps out to where Kimiko stood and stopped. So far, so good. He let out a breath eh didn't knwo he was holding when he didn't fall through after a few seconds, and looked down through the clear water to the shadowed depths.
"Wow.... this is... wow." He said while still looking down between his feet. Then an odd though passed through his head ".... You didn't freeze the fish did you?" Quinn really didn't want to accidentally kill all the lake wildlife just for a quick pass to the other side.

Iie, iie...Kimiko giggled. The fish are just fine. Actually, should they so wish to do so, they could jump through the layer and slip back in, without even so much as rippling the surface! She seemed proud, and stood in wait for Quinn to come nearer. And if you so wish...she started as she shifted to her knee again, placing her hand on the surface before continuing, You could go in, too! With that said she pushed her hand down, letting it dip down into the cold water to about her elbow before pulling it back out, water clinging to her skin as the only trace she'd touched the water.

Quinn smiled and cringed at the same time as he reached where kimiko kneeled. "Ummm.. no thank you. These are the only clothes I have, so if I got them wet... I'd have to jsut wear them wet till they dried... and water and I don't get along very well.... But thank you for the offer anyway. So.... jsut straight across to the cabins?"

Kimi giggled and nodded to Quinn, shaking her arm just once to let the droplets disappear. Just straight across! She echoed, giggling more as she linked her arm to his sort of bouncing happily as she lead him across the lake.

Quinn gripped onto her arm as she skipped along, still quite unsure of his steps. Across the lake he could see the glowing shapes of windows from some of the occupied cabins. He took a moment to just take the scenery in. It was breathtaking. He was glad he wasn't still lost in town now. After another long stretch of silence as they walked acros the stilled water, Quinn spoke again, "Umm.... so where do you live around here? Umm.. just wanting to know... so maybe I can visit you latter.... when it's not so late... and I'm not so lost?"

I live in town, between The Fallen Star and the Underground Coffeehouse...Kimiko giggled, still leading Quinn over the water, about midway to the other shore where the lights shone. I might just stay in the cabin my sister and her girlfriend are staying in - I haven't seen her since my arrival, it might be nice! she giggled, sort of tilting her head to Quinn as if asking his input on it. But you're more than welcome to visit me at my home, too...

He logged that information away in his head for latter. "Thank you, that'd be great." He replied with a smile. He wasn't so worried now, though still far from calm in his new surroundings. BUt things were getting better, slowly but surely. He was suprised how little time it took to cross the lake the way they did as the shore came up upon them. He felt much more solid the moment he felt stones and sand beneath his shoes though. "thank you for the help across..... I should... Probaly go find a empty cabin now.... I guess...." he said indicicivly.
