Neko eyed the demon curiously as he went back to his master. When Kyo had surrounded himself with large pillars of light Neko started to contemplate what the demon had said. “Start fighting with my head, huh?” Neko said to himself as he eyed the rooftop around Kyo’s feet. He could only guess that the pillars that were surrounding his enemy were some sort of shield which meant he would have to devise another plan to cause some damage.
Taking up the four blades he still held in his left hand, Neko tagged each one of them with a small explosion spell. With a hint of mischief gleaming in his eyes Neko took a running start back toward Kyo his free hand grabbing for another blade at his side. In one swift swiping motion, Neko threw the four blades in his left hand, each landing about a foot from the pillars a few feet apart. Not even a second went by before they exploded destroying the roof half way around Kyo’s shield. Drawing up three more blades Neko prepared himself, if Kyo decided to leave his protective circle he would strike, if he choose to fall Neko would decide then if he wanted to follow.

Glaring at the raven as it retreated, Yuki huffed. "Stupid bird." Then, the flock of them had erupted from the rooftops around them, and for a moment Yuki's expression looked as though he believed they were all about to swoop down in retaliation and kill him. He barely had let out a shout when he realized what had really stirred them up, apparently the stranger that remained had his heart set on hurting something. "What's going on!?" He yelled, to Neko most likely, but both he and Kyo were far from earshot.
Hitsu had rushed to catch up to Mitsu, "No! You don't want to get in the middle of anything, you might get hurt!" She frowned, looking up toward where they had gone. She didn't want either of them to be hurt, why did men always have to resort to violence?
"We've gotta keep up!" Yuki shouted, snapping his sister out of her thoughts. In an instant, he'd taken off in a run and quickly began to vanish within the crowd.
"No, wait!" Hitsu whined, but followed along after a quick glance toward the others along with hurried instruction. "Hurry, before we lose them!"
Yuki had rounded a building, and took off down the main street with eyes set on the rooftops rather than in front of him at most times. Eventually, he had waited to long to look back at his path, and gave a startled yelp before his collision with Mable. Well, her sheep, anyway.

The crowd started to disperse, but there was still action to be seen. She leaned over to one side and yelled to the nearest onlooker. "I hear a commotion. What is going on? In detail please." The tall thin man looked at her for a moment and saw her milky glazed eyes. "Oh, I am sorry ma'am. Weren't you watching them?" I was listening to them, I am blind young man," she replied with a bit of snarkiness in her voice. The gentleman wan not young by any means and she knew that, but she had a plan and needed to be convincing. "Now, in detail." The man began to tell her what he knew about the situation of the two quarreling men, which wasn't much. "By the way could you spare a few coins for a poor decreped blind woman?" She slouched on top of Pompadourio and hung her head as if in shame. "I think I have a few pieces in my pocket. You are welcome to them," he said while reaching into his pocket. Holding out her hand, she accepted the coins, but she noticed something tickling her hand. "Thank you sonny." They began to go their separate ways. She was about 15 yards away when she finally looked in her hand and realized that the man had not only gave her 3 gold coins but also a pocket full of lint. She turned her head and lifted her fist and waved it in the air, "YOU GAVE ME YOUR LINT YOU LAZY OLD BAG!!!!" She threw it to the ground and huffed before turning back on the sheep to follow the girls who were obviously familiar with the fighters.

Riyo, who had been too busy sulking to notice everyone running away, turned her eyes to the ground and sighed. 3 seconds. It took her 3 seconds to realize what was at her feet. First, her expression was questioning. Then, it turned to shock. Then, scared shitless. At her feet stood the notorious spider from the woods. A spider the size of a clock... The... CLOCK SPIDER! "NYUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU!" Riyo screamed and took off in the direction everyone had been heading. It didn't take her long to catch up to everyone else. She was running like the devil was biting at her ankles. It was about that time that she looked back to see if the giant spider was following her. OH GOOD GOD IT WAS FOLLOWING. When she looked forward to keep running, it was too late. Boom! Right into Yuki. This was turning out to be one hell of a car crash.

"hey what the hell, wait up!" poke had been paying to much attention to the fight to noticed that everyone was running off. She made a dash for the rest of the group, running at full ball. She also noticed that riyo was being chased by a huge spider, and a very old lady sitting on a...sheep? was following them. She didn't see her beforehand... poke came to a halt once the group had stopped running, her attention back to the two on the roof. These two really seemed to be getting into one another with all the power spells being unleased.

As X made his way through the crowd he replayed the events over in his head. "Why didnt I make the first move?' The question echoed through his mind. "He was right there, inviting me, and I turned and walked away." X couldnt wrap his head around this. Not only did he walk away from a fight, but he walked away without even seeing if Kyo continued on the assault. X paused in the middle of the street amongst the crowd and looked into hands. "Old man." The cat boys voice ticked in the back of his mind like water dripping on a tin roof. "Am I getting that old? I've never been called that before." X's mind raced looking for an answer, for an excuse that would fill the void, but the only one that came was one he was not ready to deal with."You are old, your getting soft, experience and knowledge dont always trump youth and durability." X tried to wrestle with himself. "I'm not soft, but then again, an imp class demon got the jump on me earlier, it took me way longer to heal than usual, I can still feel the stabbing pain in my leg from that little b*****d." X reached down and massaged the wound lightly.
"Oh my God." He put it together, as if in shock and disbelief he said it aloud to himself as it to try and make it sink in."I was afraid." This is impossible, AFRAID? OF A BOY? Its not possible. I killed 3 beings just today, why would a boy be any different? Cutting off his mind he once again spoke aloud, inturruppting his thought proccess. "It was his eyes." It was his eyes, unlike the others his eyes where not full of over confidence, the boy actually had skill to back up the talk, he may have been less experienced than X, but he had the youth and durability and was willing to put them to the test. The boy was... X looked up at the night sky as Kyo and Neko danced accross the roofs of the nearby buildings. The girls and Yuki ran passed him not noticing he was there. X followed them slowly with his eyes, and then returned his gaze to the roof. As the rest of the crowd ducked and covered from the shower of debris X stood watching the two boys fighting with such vigor and bloodlust. The boy was....Unable to beleive what his mind was contemplating X stood motionless and the battle raged on. Time seemed to stand still as people ran passed, and debris fell, and the boys stood locked in battle. X fell to his knees and stared into his open hands. His old, worn, callused, abused hands. Returning his gaze to the boy known as Neko, X looked into those eyes once again. The boy was..."Me."
"It was me, I was staring back into my own eyes." At the sight of his own determination and confidence he knew now what that meant. His body knew before he did that this battle would have ended differently. As X wrestled with this new revelation he made his way to the Brothel he had visited earlier in the night. The battle still raging on outside most people had left the place to see what was going on. X sat at the bar and began to do what every man does when his life falls apart. He began to try and find it at the bottom of a bottle.

[I will post, once Poke has proven to me that she actually read the last two sentences of my previous one. =P Along with reading Riyo's post.]
[One person cannot be both in front and behind us at the same time, and two people cannot run into the backside of the same person at relatively the same time. I know I shouldn't be so strict on small errors, but things like this can throw stuff off course and make something that should be simple very confusing. Like what has just happened.]
[I was going to request that Katie read over my post as well, but considering the turn of events, I suppose it would be best to acknowledge the barrage of the three in her next post. That poor sheep is going to hate us all so much, no?]

Quirking a brow at the sound of the explosion, Kyo edged closer to his sword. Due to the blade's wieght, he had been forced to sink the edge into something that would support its mass. That the roof would collapse, he had no doubt. However, this spot would be the last to give. He wasn't sure if Neko had taken that into account or not.
Inside the circle of lightning, a stolid heat began to build around a strange singularity. The wavering reality let out a moan that sounded more like wildebeast grunting after a satisfying bowel movement. As if in response, clay tiles from the roof he stood on, as well as the surrounding buildings, began to shake loose and fly towards the singularity. Kyo grinned as the first few breached the barrier. Kyo flung a few drops of blood onto the slow moving clay. A human wouldn't be able to enter his area without feeling the effects of the electricity, but he wondered if the catfolk would notice that the shield was mostly just effective against outside spells.
The clay tiles smashed into the heat a few at a time, until Kyo was satisfied that he had enough of the substance. What looked like a purple bolt shot from the mass of clay upwards, and what stood in its wake was a Clay Golem slightly larger than an average human. It was an empty husk, its eyes alight with the same purple glow that birthed it.
The earth spirit howled into the darkness. It had been awhile since he had a body to call his own. And what a fine body it was! He tested his feet, hopping from one to the other. Then he tested his hands, slamming his fist into the open palm awaiting it. He lept out of the circle and onto a sturdier roof, glaring at Neko all the while. His joints made a strange grinding sound as he moved towards his prey, the fragile noise belying the strength of his body. He idly wondered how long he'd be able to stay.
Kyo wrapped a hand around the hilt of his sword as the roof began to heave beneath his feet. He started to siphon the magicka from the spell scroll to keep as his own reserves bolstered. It would be mere moments before his footing gave way.

When Hitsu had told her no, Mitsu turned back to look at her, but as soon as she had Hitsu was off through the crowd following Yuki. Blinking for a few moments Mitsu watched her leave, followed by Poke, and then by Riyo. Turning her gaze back up to the roof Mitsu saw that Neko and Kyo had already moved on to another building, it would probably be easier for her to follow on the ground. So stepping away from the barrels she had started to climb on Mitsu followed after the group through the crowd and came to a sudden halt seeing the collision that had occurred. Unsure and a little unconcerned with how it had came about Mitsu turned her attention to the two fighting above them. The massive creature that Kyo had summoned baffled her a little, how was Neko supposed to fight that thing?
Seeing that his attack was slow to take effect Neko’s attention was drawn to the massive clay golem Kyo had just summoned. The creature was not only huge but was made up entirely of a protective ceramic armor. “Great.” Neko mutter sarcastically to himself. “I think I would have rather taken on the old man.”
Sliding down the roof a ways Neko kept his gaze between the creature and Kyo. Kyo was his main target but at the moment the golem was his main concern. A true dilemma. With his now empty hand Neko faced it palm down toward the roof gathering energy for his next attack, ready to move if the time called for it. The spell won’t take long but he had no idea how fast this creature was or how well it moved. Black energy began to gather in his palm popping and sparking as it grew in size drawing in nearby debris and loose ceramic tile. The spell he was using, blast wave, he had never used for anything beyond blasting a large hole in a stone wall. But considering whom he was currently fighting he hoped it would work, the only problem was it required him to actually touch the creature to activate the spell.

Before turning fully around she noticed a bit of a bump. She looked down to see three people run into Pompadourio. "Hhhhhaaarrrrmmmmppppp,"went the sheep. "Oh you are blind too, I see," she said with a cackle. Looking down she saw a quite attractive young man. "Well helloooooowwww, you fine young thang. I know you want me, but I am, sorry I go my own path," she cackled again aising her face to the sky. "Really though, why don't you look where you're going, ALL OF YOU!!!??" The sheep let out a snort and looked to its side to give the beings an annoying look. "Are you involed with the men who are fighting, and if you are which one?"

Upon collision with the animal, Yuki gave a yelp. The jolt certainly reminded him that he wasn't in his fittest of states, as the pain in his back quickly made itself known. As fate would have it, no sooner could he take two steps backward from the sheep Riyo had crashed into him. "AUGH!" He screamed, quickly meeting the animal a second time and the ground soon after.
"Are... You okay?" Hitsu asked, who'd slowed her jog as soon as she'd gotten close.
"For the love of God!" Was the only reply, though who it was aimed at couldn't be known. Yuki had quickly gotten to his feet, glared at the girls, and then turned his attention to the animal that had been in his way (as far as he saw it). Then, up to the woman who rode it. Her flirtatious words brought a grimace, which he did nothing to hide. "Uhh... Sure. I was a little more focused on them than I was on people taking their sweet time moving along the street!" He gestured toward the rooftops, and then looked up to the battle. His eyes grew wide, and he quickly rushed around the road block that was Pompadourio and closer to the fight.
His sister had watched him go, and sighed softly. She looked up to Mable, and gave an apologetic look. "I'm sorry, don't mind him. He's just trying to help our friend. I hope we didn't hurt you or your sheep."

The collision brought poke's attention back to yuki and the old lady, with yuki taking more damage then the sheep did. though he was soon up and running again, so she walked back to were the old lady was, since she had asked a question and he hadn't answered it.
"one of them is a acquaintance, the other treated us to booze and then wanted to pick a fight" she told the lady after hitsu had apologized for her brothers behavior. she then turned to see that yuki was a bit father away, and charging up some sort of spell. This seemed to be a dam good speel, as it had destroyed the golem thing in one blow. But she was a bit concerned; what if kyo decided to attack yuki, who didn't seem like he could take another blow?

She looked at the well mannered girl. "Deary, it is not the sheep you need worry. She has enough fluff on her for elevendy-billion sweaters. By the looks of it, you are his sister I take it?" She squinted and eye and pushed her neck out in the young lady's direction. "Have you a name, girl?" As she waited for a reply she slowly leaned back in the saddle, but left the same squinted look on her face as she kept staring at the girl.
After sitting up and waiting for a response, another girl spoke up and told her of the two fighting men. "Ohhhhh he liquered you up eh? Wow, what a winner. I guess the only way he thought he could win a fight is by having an advantage over drunks. How pathetic. Le' sigh"
She looks towards Neko and begins to shake her head in disappointment. "Tsk tsk tsk."

With a creaking wail, the roof finally gave way underneath Kyo's feet. He heaved a sigh as his footing dropped out from underneath him. His sword began to cleave through the support column, slowing his fall onto the floor below. When he touched down he stumbled and felt something fall out of his pocket, but he couldn't tell what it was or where it had scattered to because of the noise. The spell scroll had already used up what little energy Kyo had left it and sputtered in the wreckage.
Kyo noticed a shadowy movement out of the corner of his eye. He moved to investigate and tried to lift his sword, but it would hardly budge. With his eyes darting about like nervous fish, he searched through the dust dragging his blade along the floor through the debris. What he found was an entire family huddled underneath a table.
"Pathetic." Kyo spat at them through his sneer.
Suddenly, a somber tune began to play. He recognized the melody, and his bloodlust began to wane. The wardrums that pounded in his head had began to subside as well. All that was left was the sadness and aching hollow of coming down from an adrenaline high. The item that he had lost from his pocket was the music box he had purchased the little girl. "I must have picked it up without noticing....wait, little girl? Her name was Bailey..." He thought to himself, feeling terrible. His mind was already trying to erase the memory.
He picked up the music box and closed it with trembling hands and dropped enough coin to pay for five houses the same size, and left out of the front door. Walking into the street with his sword dragging behind him, he noticed that his golem was still facing off with Neko. He raised his hand to unsummon the creature, but then stopped.
"F*ck it." He said with little enthusiasm. He walked towards the group of females, keeping his distance. "C'mon Rei Ichi, let's go." Heeding his master's call, the psuedo-wolf gently slid away from Poke and returned to Kyo. Kyo grabbed the stone that contained his conpanion's memories and commands. Absorbing the magicka he was made of so that he could pin his sword to his back. He didn't say goodbye. He just kept walking.
The golem felt his body start to pull inward a little, but then it stopped. He knew that he was suddenly set free, and kicked at Neko hard. Little did he know, he was about to be sent back to his own plane very violently.

[For Yuki's bit, I leave it up to you (Inu) to decide when he destroys it. Before or after the attack, whatever works best for you/Neko. I just decided I'd post this, because with my luck the electric will go out in the night and I'll lose my post. And then I'd just have to cry.]
Hitsu gave a sigh, relieved that not only the woman and her 'steed' were unharmed, but she didn't seem upset about the accident. "I'm glad, and she's very cute with all of her fluff, too." She said, smiling lightly as she reached up to gently pet the animal briefly. To the woman's question, she nodded. "Yes, ma'am." If the eyes didn't give it away, the similar tails certainly would. When asked for her name, there was no hesitation. "Hitsuzen." Instructions to not talk to strangers? Forgotten. Besides, what harm could a little old woman do to them?
She looked over her shoulder to Poke and frowned lightly, "He didn't get you that stuff, it was that horrible man. Daelik. Then he kicked us out when you all drank it. Jerk." Hitsu looked up to the rooftops again, biting her lower lip at the sight of the thing that Kyo had summoned. She knew Neko could take care of himself, but she could still worry about someone else getting hurt unintentionally. That, and she hoped that her brother wasn't about to do anything stupid.
Coming to a stop a few feet from the building on which the clay golem perched, Yuki looked up at the creature with an irritated groan. If he didn't lend a hand, Neko would doubtlessly try and blow the thing apart and destroy much more than just the golem. At least the element was to his advantage, and Neko's opponent was doubtlessly about to find out. No, Yuki had no intentions on joining into this battle, he just wanted to bring it to an end, and quickly.
The both of them would be distracted with one another, and wouldn't notice him in the street. At least, not until this was finished. Arms outstretched toward the direction of the roof, the creature, with Yuki's fingers curling around nothing but air. Fists clasped as though something was held between them, his gaze locked on the creature he desired to destroy. Without hesitation, he drew his fists away from each other forcibly. He grimaced only a moment against what appeared to be an invisible resistance, before his arms jerked swiftly to either side and the golem above him literally cracked right down the middle and erupted into a shower of nothing more than clay pebbles and dust.
That was certainly something useful, but stupid. "Yuki!?" Hitsu shouted, expression horrified, immediately losing interest in the conversation for obvious reasons. She moved swiftly away from the others and in the direction she'd seen him go. Thankfully, he wasn't hard to find. She stopped a few feet from him, mentally mulling over what to shout first. "Well, that was smart." She finally said flatly, frowning.
Yuki stood... Well, leaned, with his back against the nearest building wall, arms resting limp at his sides and attention on what dust still lingered in the air. His breathing was heavy, and his heart was racing like he'd just run a mile. Sure, the pressure of his shoulders against stone made his injuries hurt all over again, but it was better than falling to the ground. Hitsu's words didn't seem to surprise him, but he'd heard her coming. She never was very talented at sneaking up on anyone. He looked to her, and gave a nervous laugh. "It's gone, right?" He asked, before shutting his eyes and leaning his head back against the wall. He took a few deep breaths, trying to calm the pounding in his chest. "I didn't know..." He murmured, slowly raising his bandaged arm to wipe away the sweat from his brow. "I didn't know how much it would take out of me." He opened one eye, and caught a flicker of concern in his sister's expression, "I'll be fine, don't worry."
