Rosie walked along the streets the the Village hidden in Sound. The ruble in the streets stuck to the young blind girls feet causing sharp intakes of breath whenever a particularyly sharp one entered her foor. It was days like this that Rosie wondered why she didn't wear shoes. But the girl trudged on. Arms waving like pendulums at her side as she made her way to nowhere in particularly. Maybe she would head over to the old acadamy for the night. It's not like anyone would use it, and any shelter it provided would definitaly be better then sleeping out in the fridged night once more. Or perhaps she would sleep outside once more. The air was warmer this time of year, and the rain came less often. Or even yet maybe she wouldn't sleep. She was still years behind on her training, and if she ever planed on heading out in search of answears she would have to become much stronger then she was at the moment.
The girl stoped suddenly taking a seat on the ground. What was the point? Even if she found her clan and got the question of her powers revieled she would still be alone in the world. It seemed whenever she was willing to make a leap forward something in the world would remove something that she held dear from exsistance.

((Hahaha! Finally found time to post!))
Rosie look dowtrod. Her face was blank and emotionless. All this time she ha been thinking to herself. If I get stronger, if I train and become better then I've ever been, I'll find my Akeru, but here he was. Only he didn't know he was who he was. And it crushed Rosie.
"Are you looking for someone?"
"I was." Rosie said cooly. Her head falling to the earth. "But it's been so long, I don't think they would recognize me."
Rosie looked into "Rei's" eyes. Her dust grey iris and midnight black pupils centering on his. she wished for the first time in her life that she had not been cursed with blindness. That she could relly on more then instinct to tell her what was what.
"I hope you find the person you are looking for."
"I think I already have.... They just don't know it yet." Rosie giggled lightly to herself. Maybe this wasn't Akeru maybe it was. but he felt like akeru, smelt like him to. So even if he went by a differant name, he was still her Akeru.
Rosie walked with Reikeru towards the great white tiger. Long ago she had the pleasure of meeting such a beast, well... there really was only one such a beast as great as she.
It was then something pudgent hit the air. The fealing of fear and pain. Chaos in the outerworld. Rosie stumbled back as Kuro pinned Reikeru to the ground. He was in pain. but not from the tiger, he was in pain before even that.
"Akeru...." the word slipped between Rosies lips as little more then a whisper.
"Akeru..." Her words built in strength as her worry for the boy grew.
"Akeru!" rosie scream hold her hands to her ears. She felt the boy screaming. Like a pin being pricked into her ear, yet she heard nothing. Nothing but the ocean of silance that always accompanied her.

The world was a blur, and the great cat did not care of any others present on the streets, or any those whom watched. Perhaps they did not, either, so much more preoccupied with fleeing for their lives to the evacuation order. The air itself held a certain frenzy, though it was cool to the touch.
"It's all right!" Urged the tiger, trying to calm the boy. "It's not real - the black and crimson night, it...it won't harm you a...again! It's just a nightmare...don't think of it...Akeru, AKERU! Snap out of it!" Burning blue eyes met with large eyes, presently slightly crimson from taking in the sudden flood of daylight.
He stopped struggling futilely against the tiger, but his eyes had filled with tears. And for a long moment, he stared at the great tiger pinning him down with eyes filled with something beyond more than just mere acquaintanceship-recognition. His lips slowly parted, not minding that the dust of the ground mixed, filthy, with strands of his hair sprawled out like a darkly-colored fan, nor caring of the fragments of stone which dug into his skin.
He wanted the confirmation.
"But, it did happen." Whispered the boy, brokenly. "If...I...could end up like that, too...? With a murderer's face, and...a murderer's eyes... If dying wasn't allowed..."
The child covered his face.
"Won't it be better...to forget...? A secret I shouldn't know."
...
"Kuro...I'm...afraid..."

Rosie walked along the streets the the Village hidden in Sound. The girl stoped suddenly taking a seat on the ground. What was the point? Even if she found her clan and got the question of her powers revieled she would still be alone in the world. It seemed whenever she was willing to make a leap forward something in the world would remove something that she held dear from exsistance.
((To be continued... AKA I had to go to bed before I finished.)) PostPosted: Thu Nov 19, 2009 9:19 pm She instantly became guarded, and crimson eyes narrowed, as black shadows darted over the rooftops and the form of armed ANBU appeared before her. Well, on the briefest glance, she would not have been able to know that they were armed but however, she sensed the deadly intensity of their chakras, and immediately noted of the hidden weapons they would've held... Kuroshiro, beside her, stiffened his great form, and glowered: his cold ice-blue eyes sternly fixed upon the man who was clearly the leader of the troope, who stepped forth daringly. There was a dark flash in the beast's eyes when the man did not speak, yet continued approaching, and darting before his mistress, the great white tiger gave a threatening growl.
"At ease, Kuro." Spoke Yuumei to the tiger. Burning eyes fixated on the ANBU, and she demanded, calmly: "What is the meaning of such a reception...?" She asked, aloud. "Or does the blade of Oto itself run so treacherous that she no longer welcomes her own...?"
"Odoriko Yuumei." Spoke the masked man, at last. "Our Kage requests of your presence in his office."
"He? Why yes, we heard!" Said Yuumei, scornfully. "Why, so quickly you forget your Lady - Uchiha Saiya, your Mistress! How dare you serve a man, whereas his predecessor disappeared under such suspicious circumstance? Akeru was torn from the village, Kuro found him, having escaped on his own from his tormentors by the cliffs of Iwa, and had fallen, broken his limbs to the rocks!"
"Do not speak so rudely of Otokage-sama. We...did not...Kasuke-sama-..."
Her crimson eyes flashed, and she glared at the men.
"Kage, Kage, that is all you say! That is all you can say! Your wish, is only, for my healing arts! Do you know, what is the meaning of loyalty, ANBU of Otogakure...? You parrot words the High Councils of the Great Nations beyond our borders preach their shinobi to speak! Think!" Snapped Yuumei. "Why was not Lady Saiya's disappearance investigated! And why, when a child - he may not have been Oto born, but Akeru was a shinobi of this village nonetheless - not one had been sent! If I had not gone - who would? Who would?"
Taking a deep breath, and calming, her furious gaze never left the ANBU. "Take me to this person, this Kasuke-sama of yours! I have a message for him, from the words of the future Juugodaime Hokage-sama himself (in their attendance to the international Chuunin Exams): in the past, they have not treaded, but just this once due to circumstance, they would ask for the return of one of the last living bearers of the child's line!"
She spun to Kuroshiro. "Kuro, stay here, and watch the boy! I pray you, guard the last bit of him which remains innocent: guard him with your life!"
((Yuumei exits))

One a woman of very high power, the other a man, also of considerable strength. They were argueing over the dissapearance of Rosies makeshift mother. The old Kage of the village. With them was the presance of an animal, big. Rosie sniffed the air, it smelt of a long travel. But with that smell there came another that sent rosie ito shock.
"A-A...ke...ru?"
Rosie mumbeled these words wide eyed, frozen in place. her arms swinging limply at her side. There was no way, he was gone. He couldn't just show up one day... Could he? Dumbfounded Rosie made her way towards the Tiger slowly, her feet dragging along the grounds. Her body moved like a zombies, stumbling and weak. The other two had left leaving just rosie the tiger and the boy who made Rosies sense fire on thoughts of Akeru. There was not way this wasn't the boy. Her arms reached out, wanting to feel him in her hands, to smell him, listen to his voice. that ws the only way to tell for sure. No matter what her senses said, she had to be sure they were not wrong. PostPosted: Fri Nov 20, 2009 7:30 pm Theme Song: George Winston - Celtic Carol
Kuroshiro gave a threatening growl, and pawed the earth, almost as the ferocious wild beast he was supposed to be, by his mistress' order. Assuredly assuring that he would not allow any harm to befall the child, as long as there was a single breath left in the tiger's huge body. However, when his mistress disappeared with the ANBU, with the flicker of the Shunshin, and cold blue eyes landed on a singular form in the crowd, even the tense, hostile posture of the great white tiger relaxed just slightly and became...almost...sad...? As his eyes had affixed upon a familiar form.
Ah. It was...
The boy stirred, and opened his eyes to all the commotion. He walked almost as if he was awakening from a dream, slipping lightly off from Kuroshiro's great back - slowly, slowly - from which he had curled up against, and seemed to walk almost uncertainly on his feet. His face was expressionless, and in all his porcelain, doll-like beauty, all too frighteningly fragile, as he took a step forth too.
It was Akeru...right...?
Well, the boy had Akeru's soft, raven hair...slightly longer from the time where Rosie had not seen him, making him appear more boyishly charming, in a roguish manner. He had the Uchiha clan's famed deadly beauty, pale, unmarred skin, even the way that delicate frame held himself was familiar...but also too frighteningly foreign. And the most heartbreaking, if Rosie had been able to see, or if she had been able to hear...
Shining eyes, that changed with the color of the light, while still held their ever-changing hue, however, no long held any glitter to their sparkling depths. He watched her almost impassively, almost curiously, the slightest gentle tilt of the head aside - Akeru's habit - and as the passing breeze blew, freeing stray locks of raven hair to brush against his cheek, he pressed back the long sideburns with pale, delicate fingers...
However, however...
"Who..."
His lips parted.
"...are..."
Unknowing eyes...
"...you...?"
And the world was in pieces, just like the fragile snow the boy was...
The great tiger bowed his head.
It was not his right to judge.

Offline PostPosted: Sat Nov 21, 2009 8:29 pm Rosie stopped as she felt the heat of defensive anger leak from the great tiger. The ground seemed to vibrate with its low growl of the beast as it pawed the ground. This frightened Rosie. The last time she had been around Kuroshiro she had been on the other side of the defense. The two others disappeared out of Rosie’s mind fallowed by a skin crawling feeling. Powerful eyes landed on her body. And with them came a blue feeling. The threat became calm, like a rain of fire turning to soft snow as it fell to the earth. Rosie’s feet found life again and once more trekked forwards.
Something about the boy gave off a bad vibe. Something about him just wasn’t all there. Rosie undid the ribbon that bound her eyes. The grey rings remained forwards piercing through everything. They saw nothing, yet at the same time they told her everything. She wished for the first time in her life that she could see and believe what she only thought was real. How did she know there was a boy there? How did she know she was even in a town anymore?
The boy stirred, or at least, she thought he did. The young girl continued forwards her arm rising to meet the boy. Her feet tested each step before committing, her hand waved before her acting somewhat like a cane. He was in front of her, almost directly so, but she couldn’t risk even being a bit off.
“Who… Are… You?
The waters of silence rushed through the ears of the girl. The bell so loud, yet so quite that it keep all sound from her. And in this silence the words that the doll boy spoke sounded like gun shots. Rosie stopped, her out reached fingers feeling heavy as lead. Something indeed had just gone very wrong.
Rosie chocked on words, her impairment making it difficult for her to speak in the first place.
“Akeru.”
Rosie’s lips barely parted these mumbled words. She walked up face to face with the boy. She was no farther then a foot or two away from the boy now. Her arms once more rose to find the boys face, to feel his features. Her head all the time unmoving, her eyes glazed past him, set on a distant point in her own mind.
“Akeru…” She sobbed this time, louder. “You must know me Akeru.” PostPosted: Sat Nov 21, 2009 8:54 pm Theme Song: George Winston - Celtic Carol
"But..."
His lips parted.
"But...I...I really...don't..." Said the boy, his soft voice only a whisper against the breeze. The heavy silence of Oto seemed to all the more solemnly hang, like the darkly-verdant curtain of the weeping willow they had once made their promise to each other, during the attack, seemingly so long ago now. A promise, sealed by blood, that very day and a scar that had not disappeared even under the healing touch of Yuumei's fingers...
The expression that met the girl's unseeing eyes, was blank, distant...almost equally unseeing, as if the boy had already died and it was only a soulless shell that was left speaking to her. Her fingers trembled, as she gently touched his face, and pale fingers trailed down snowy-cheeks. Almost with a will of its own, his own hand slowly lifted, and his cool palm felt for the warm hand on his face...
His touch showed her reality, yet so ironically, all that was illusionary.
An ephemeral, fragile world, just like the boy himself...
The bloodline of illusions.
"Why..." He whispered, not understanding, yet all the more understanding. His eyes stung, they hurt. Perhaps a part of him even dreaded, a part anticipating...something there he could see, yet couldn't see, the hand he felt that could've been from a world away...
"...are...you..."
But what gathered at his eyes was not tears, but blood, and it dripped down his cheeks.
Hurts...it hurts.
He didn't understand.
Plip-plip.
"...so...sad...?"
Making such an expression...why would a girl he never met...do such a thing...? His breath caught in his throat, and perhaps a choked sob would've escaped if only he knew why, perhaps he thought it would've cheered her up, if he greeted her properly, and a quiet smile flitted across the boy's face.
The blood-tears stopped.
"Ahh...you probably got me mistaken with someone else, miss..." His demeanor changed, becoming as close as possible to cheerful - but something seemed to be lacking - as he gently told her:
"Hello, I'm Sento Reimei. What's your name?"

Offline PostPosted: Tue Nov 24, 2009 4:15 pm A bullet pierced through Rosie stoping her dead in her tracks. Her raised hand dropped like lead into water. It seemed almost as if time and space had fallen out of exsistance in the young girls mind. It felt to her as if forever had passed with her just standing there awestuck. It took her a moment to snap back into esistance. The girls pitch black eyes seemed to dull to grey as tears welled in the young Yubie's eyes. There was no way. Rosie took a defiant step forwards towards the boy. Rosies senses were torn. Her instinct was telling her two opposing truths. One truth: This boy before her was indeed her Akeru. The other: this was just a boy.The conflicting points tore at Rosies mind, never before had she had this delema with a person. Everyone she had met had been sure of who they were.
She broke out of her trance almost the moment he touched her hand. It was cold and unlike the touch she was so used to. He was not the same any more, as much as Rosie wished this to be untrue. He had indeed changed, something within him had been convinced of a flase truth.
"You're right.... You are not the one I thought you were."
the distain for having to admit the truth killed Rosie. She wished now that this meeting had gone very differantly.
"Rosie... Rosie Yubie."
Rosie said her name with heartlessness. This was Akeru. But she wasn't the one who needed convincing of this. Lost in this strange boy before her stood truth, shrouded by the illustion of faulty memory's.
"Nice to meet you Ake-I mean, Setno was it? Sorry me hearing... Yeah no good. Along with my eyes."
Rosie waved her hand in front of her face, her eyes unmoving, faining a friendly smile.

He cocked his head slightly aside, as she confirmed his words.
"...are you looking for someone...?" Asked the boy, honestly curious. But then, as she proceeded to introduce herself, he would wait for her to finish...it was the polite thing to do.
"Oh." Said the boy, with a softly half-shy smile, as she fell silent once more. "Ah...'Rei' is fine."
He did not correct her mistake.
But then, as she spoke of her limitations...he looked to her, with somewhat of surprise...yet almost...? But the flicker disappeared as soon as it had come into otherworldly calm, and he nodded, seeming to understand.
"I hope you find the person you are looking for." Said the boy. Then, seeming to remember something, he gently had his right fist meet the opposing open palm in a sign of certainty: "I know, Yuu-nee and Kuro would be able to help!" Here, he happily trotted over to the white tiger, burying his pretty raven head against the great beast's side...
"Yuu-nee did say she lived in this...Ohtawaguu-...village. For a long time."
"Otogakure." Corrected the tiger, with also too the solemn weight of a heavy sigh. "The shinobi village that stands tall in this nation of Rice..." Here, Kuroshiro paused, as frenzied shouts around the village and frantic orders of Jounins interrupted all to reality.
"...what...?" Inquired the tiger, looking to Rosie for perhaps some sort of an answer.
There was a long silence, as the boy seemed to strain to catch distinctive words.
"...evacuation...order...?" He whispered, almost breathlessly.
His whole body shook.
"No..." Groaned the boy, clutching at his head, eyes fearfully wide that they no longer were the gorgeously ever-changing jewels they were but frightfully bloodshoot...
"No, no, no, no!!!"
Hurts... ...it hurts.
Kuro immediately bristled.
"Calm down! Stop!"
But to stop the boy from hurting himself, he had to trap the boy in place, his great head on the child's shoulders, and one paw seemingly protectively wrapped around the boy's thin frame yet also stiffly too held the struggling boy in place...
And such in contrast to the false calm before, a certain wildness broke over the child: there was perhaps even a tinge of insanity in the boy's eyes, as the child struggled...perhaps not even caring if he was injured by the tiger's much greater strength...? He seemed to be lost, in some memory of the past, tears streaming down his face, as he wildly began predicting the fates of those whom were already dead...
"Okaa-san is going to die, and Aniki...Aniki!!!"
PostPosted: Fri Nov 27, 2009 8:51 pm The heavy breath of Frost drowned out all other noise from his ears. He had heard all he needed to from the rumors around town, and an especially hopeful one from a patroling chunin. Frost had a destination now. All that mattered was that he made it to the hospital in time. 'Please let it be her,' he kept repeating in his head. Rooftop by roof top, Frost slowly became nearer to Hana, even if he himself didn't know it.
'Tap, tap, tap,' were the noise of his feet as they pittered across the roofs of Otogakure. Tightening, and rewraping the cloth around his fists, Frost kept himself occupied, so as not to panic anymore then he already was. The jounin had not yet had time to change out of his clothes, the baggy material still hanging from him and whipping in the breeze. 'Im not moving fast enough,' he told himself as he droped down at the entrance of the hospital.
(Exit to... The hospital)
