Ask anyone who is attends my old school who was in the Concert Band last year and they will tell you Little English Suite needs to be burned.
Also I am going to agree with the burning of Pomp and Circumstance espcecially when you only have two clarinet players playing at the finale one of which is yourself, it still makes your mouth hurt even with a class of less than 100.

I think like most people that pomp and circumstance should be shredded, burned then the ashes flushed down the toilet. God I hate that song

Another tune which should be burned-- Variations on a Korean Folk Song. Actually, it's a really pretty and cool-sounding piece, but it is friggin' HARD.
My band is known as the "higher, louder, faster" band, but I think we may finally have met our match with this one. (Actually, we just don't have a lot of time to get it ready and don't want to practice it at home.) Variations could be more accurately described as "lower, louder, faster," but it's right up our alley, if we weren't so lazy and afflicted with Senioritis. But for now, I wish to burn it. Along with O Magnum Mysterium, which (in my opinion) has no discernible melody (and is boring to boot), and Elsa's Procession to the Cathedral, for making me learn really-freakin'-high-F on a Tenor Sax.
I think that's about it for my ranting today (except for Pomp and Circumstance of course, which is making me sick, since I dread graduating anyway).

Secret Journey. All we(and that means the whole band, not just my section by the way) play is G----------------- g-------------------------- a---------------------------- f-----------------------.... on and on and on! And in the end, we have a 14 measure rest! We don't even play in the end!!

Pomp and Circumstance and Rhapsody in Blue should be burned, along with its writers.

Mello-phony To be burned: ~Christmas Festival ~Our fight song ~Australian Up-Country Tune ~Scenes from the Lourve ~Hark, the Herald Angels Sang ~Star Spangled Banner ~Olympic Spirit ~Almost all Marches cuz they are evil...((Off beat is annoying through a whole piece)) Songs to be loved for eternity: ~Ride ~Sleep ~Song ~On a Hymnsong of Philip Bliss (i have solo!) ~Sleigh Ride I don't like On A Hymsong of Philip Bliss. it's so boring it puts me to sleep. Of course, that may be because I play the abri part, but meh. I'm going back to alto soon.
~Pomp and Circumstance--DEFINITELY! ~Anything with extensive Oompas ~Mexicali Nose (A Jazz piece that I hate) ~O Magnum Mysterium

Hoe-down from Rodeo by Aaron Copland. It's the song from the beef commercial. I'm never eating beef again. I like On A Hymnsong of Philip Bliss, mainly because it's the only song where I don't have to blow my brains out.

I would say "Belle", the 2nd movement of the Cajun Folk Song "suite". It sounds terrible with our band and I'm not quite sure what it would sound like with a more experienced band, but...it doesn't sound great plus the melody grates on my nerves.
