Ryu's gaze narrow as he looked to the short fat man. he was sputtering, trying to come up with some lie or something as he backed up. Ryu says "I'm gonna give you a head start, you've till the count of five to try and get away." The fat man waisted little time and ran for the door. Ryu finishes his count of five, then says to Lyoko "tell kari lunch is served." the fat man would just now be opening the doors, screaming in fear for his life.

"Kari Fetch." Kair imediately leapt forward and dragged the man back in. Then she managed to pin him down and bit deep into his throat, killing him instantly. One of Ryu's guards shut the door so no one outside would see Kari devouring the man. Half way through the corpse kari was full and sat back, licking her paws clean of blood and washing her face.

The one boy returned and dropped the reports when he saw the grizzly scene. Ryu looks to the boy and says "send word that the governor is retiring for health reasons, bring me the real reports, and have someone come and clean this mess. do this without telling anyone..." He reaches into the chest and pulls a sack og gold our " and this will be your reward." The boy nods and hurries first to go and get the real reports, then to clean the mess. Once done with that, the boy goes to inform the proper authorites of the governors retirment, then returns to say "I've done as you bid my lord." Ryu smiles, hand the boy the sack of gold, and says "good, now run along lad." The boy does so and runs off. Ryu gestures the guard to close the chest and bring it, they do so and, after Kari's had a small nap, he gestures for them to head out.

Lyoko took Kari's leash again and followed Ryu out. "That was interesting. Are we going home or visiting mroe villages?" She asked softly.

Ryu shook his head and says "We'll return home now, after a stop at the last village we visited, I'm sure they would appriciate some of the gold in this chest." he smiled some, and they continued on out of the town.

"Make sure to take out the poisons, bombs, and swords first." She kept pace with Ryu while Kari was walking ahead of them slightly.

Ryu smiled slightly, and soon they were at the village before. They walk up to Sakrua's house and the guards sets the chest down and started pulling only the gold out. Ryu knocks on her door, she soon exits and says "yes m'lord?" Ryu gestures to the gold and says "a little something to help this village grow. see to it everyone gets an equal share." Sakura looks to the sacks of gold, then to ryu and nods "of course my lord." She gestures for apparently her two eldest sons to gather the bag and set to work spreading the wealth. The guards close the chest and ryu gestures for the group to continue on to the castle.

Lyoko watched him give away the gold before leaving for home. "That was very generous of you." She smiled. "You could've kept all that money for yourself but you gave it away. I don't think I've ever been more impressed by someone."

Ryu chuckles and says to her "what I gave away was pocket change compared to what I've already got in my vaults. Truth be told, I rarely ask for gold as tribute any more. I only do so, so that I've some spending money." He looks to Lyoko and says "but thank you for the compliment." Soon enough they would reach the castle, the guards taking the chest back to the arms shed. Ryu of course, leading Lyoko and kari back to kari's enclosure.

Lyoko took off the collar and leash from Kari's neck. She ran off into the wooded part of the enclosure, probably to take another nap. "What do you want to do now?" Lyoko asked as she shut the door to the enclosure.

Ryu looked to Lyoko and says "well I'd say it's about time for lunch, after that, perhapes some time in the garden." He then leads Lyoko back towards the dinning hall.

She wasn't hungry, but she sat with him and picked at her food and occasionally took a small bite of the fruit. "How much longer till your lord comes?" She asked after a moment of silence.

Ryu ate, hearty as always. He looks to Lyoko and says "in a couple days, which reminds me, we need to get you better use to the Kimono before he shows."

She groaned softly and nodded. "Should I go put one on now or wait till morning to do that?" She asked as she picked at her food. She hated wearing the kimono's but had no say in the matter.

"tomorrow today has been long and busy enough." He eventually finished his food and sits back for a moment, enjoying the feel of digestion.
