Barung nodded. "I'm sorry, my lady." He then fired the blast again, annihilating Aleda's house. He then targeted the remains of Iselia. "So they can't hide there." he said. He fired a stronger blast with a wider blast radius, destroying Iselia.

Shinto felt he was falling, through an endless pit, the blackness swallowing it up. Suddenly, there was a bright flash, and he was revisiting a scene he had experienced long ago.
There were a group of Papal knights, a human, and elf, and himself.
"If you do not tell us where the two of them and their children went, we will have to get you to tell us by force!" Said one of the knights.
"I'm telling you, we don't know anything. Now please, leave my family alone. If you have any trouble, I wish for it to be only with me," said the Human.
"No! I won't ever let you go alone, you know that. We're in this together." Said the elf. She stepped closer to him.
"Yeah! Were all gonna stick together, no matter what you say!" Said Shinto. he picked up a pebble from the floor, ran up, and threw it at the guards.
"Shinto! NO!"
The guards grabbed him and began to throw him around. "You think you can mess with us and get away with it, you filthy half-elf?"
"Yeah, we should just take him to the prison, where his kind belongs!" said another.
"You leave him alone!" The elf picked up her weapon, as did the human, and they both ran to protect him. One of the knights grabbed Shinto, and another took his axe and slashed the human in the stomach.
"NO!" The elf ran to the knight holding Shinto and tried to wrestle him from his grip, but another just hit her in the back of the head with his armored arm.
The knights began to leave.
"Shinto! Shinto!"
"Mama! Help! They're going to take me away!"
"I'm trying!" She tried to crawl foward, but fell unconcious.
"NOOO! MAMA!"
"Mama...." He said, tears falling down his cheeks.

Seeing the blast in the direction of Iselia, Kratos remembered when Corrine was killed...
Kratos gasped. He was hiding in the shadows of the Seal Room in the Temple of Lightning. Volt had just done his Thunder Field attack and blasted the group from the seal. When Volt turned to Sheena, and Kratos saw Corrine tense, he knew Corrine would take the hit. After traveling with Sheena in Sylvarant, he knew how much she cared for him. Kratos could have stopped it, but he didn't.
Kratos didn't know how not evacuating Iselia before he left to confront Volker reminded him of this, it just did.

"things just keep getting worse and worse..." Ayame said sadly as she looked at what was left of Iselia and Aleda's home. "I wish I could do something to stop this destruction...." she thought to herself

(( Zelos got wings if you choose Kratos in the night at Flanoir scene in the game, but Zelos betrays you and you have to kill him O_o" I dunno where Sheena is...or Collete...or Lloyd I dunno where anyone is, only started RPing a few weeks ago >_<;; sorry I couldn't help much )) " poor Aleda...." Ayame thought " I too know the feeling of loosing all that is dear to you.." she sighed as the sun began to come up....but it was hard to tell from the smoke that surrounded the land

"well wherever we go those angels are gonna find us...but we need to find a safe place so we can tend to the wounded" she looked at the others "does anyone know of a place where we will not be discovered for now?" she asked

Shinto stirred. He woke up suddenly. His eyes were wet.
"Where....?" He tried to get up to look around, but fell flat against the ground in pain of moving with his wounds.
"Ahh...!"

"oh! its looks like Shinto has finally woken up" she said in an almost cheerful manner
Ayame started to feel a little tired, she had'nt gotten very much sleep and she was somewhat wounded from the shockwaves that hit moments earlyer

"The Tree." Kratos said, standing up after teleporting the mysterious man out of harm's way. "The Yggdrasill Tree. It's the only are we will be safe. Destroying that would most likely destroy the Desuxis's plan. That mana charge would eventually fail if they destroyed the Tree. Plus, we can team up with Yuan there, since he guards the Tree with Martel."
