Horatio felt the wave of peace and thought more. He knew what he had to do. He stood before the giant of a man could do anything. Horatio stopped time and wrote a lengthy note to Sin about his past, explaining what was happening and that he was about to practically commit suicide by taking his family on alone and that nothing would change his mind. He placed it into Sin's pocket and left the building. He was down several blocks when he resumed time and kept walking.

Fiasco smiled when she mumbled a reply, but instead of responding, he simply drove and thought. Rideing along in my aoutomobile. My baby beside me at the wheel. I stole a kiss at the turn of a mile. My curiosity running wild. Cruisin' and playin' the radio. With no particular place to go. It's about now that Khyn rips him out of his musical reverie. "I did what?" he says as looks around remembering that he was going to the arcade. Not, well, wherever his car was takeing him. "Sorry, I was lost in thought." he pulls the car over to the left and makes a u-turn and drives back to the arcade. Pulling into the parking lot, picks a space near the entrance and puts the car in park. He gets out and races to the passenger door before Khyn opens it herself. "Really, though. Sorry about that." he manages as he opens the door for her.

When time stopped she just watched patiently as he wrote his letter. Thinking "man doesn't he learn that this doesn't do s**t to me!" As she picked up the note she read it, a thin smile on her face as she looked out the window and saw his form disappear into the night.
"well that is what he wants I have no objections. He will either come back or die." Though it sounded cold, the two men that just arrived could tell she was upset that she wasn't trusted enough to help.

Horatio stepped into his surprisingly clean apartment. After checking all possible traps, he felt a state of semi-calm. He walked past the vast arsenal of medieval weapons and reached underneath his bed. He pushed a few boxes and suitcases aside and pulled out a large and gnarled staff. It was made of cedar and was as tall as Horatio stood. Minute symbols were etched into the wood and in between two separate branches stood an hourglass that sand flowed as long as Horatio's heart didn't stop. Horatio paused, and set the staff on the bed. He reached in further and drew a sword that glowed at his touch. The symbols gave Horatio power, but at a cost. Horatio placed the sword on his back and grabbed his staff. He wrote another note explaining the power of the staff and stopped time again. The note read: Sin, this staff was until I was born the only source of my family's power. Until me, could my family only control time with the aid of staffs similar to this one. Seeing how I will most likely die, I leave you my staff, and with it the power to control time. Do with it however you wish. Unfortunately, this is only temporary, as the sand stops in the hourglass as soon as I die, and with it the power fades.Horatio ran back to the building and placed the staff next to the frozen Sin. He made sure that everything was going correctly with his time control and left the building. Horatio walked down the street and resumed time, startling a group of teenagers with the enormous sword on his back.

A small bit of pain showing in her pale blue eyes, but she said nothing. Bun and clurk responded oddly about the staff showing upi. She read the note, A small sigh of disappointment escaping her lips.
Waving off Bun che che, sin stood up and walked over to the boarded up window. a few more hours till day break. She would be there in her class teaching and all, but it would be noticable. Her ankled now splinted and straightened.
"So Taon you start at the school tomorrow as a teach huh? what subject are you planning on teaching?" she asked in a reserved voice.

"Oh English, Reading, and Science." he said as he looked up at her a winced a bit because the pain of his ankle. He then looked at the two men who entered before "Sooooo are you friends or family of Sin's?"

Horatio was already out of the city when he noticed someone following him. Horatio kept walking, occasionally attempting a subtle glance for the person's face. Eventually, Horatio just turned around all together and saw his younger brother facing him, a stupid look of accomplishment on his face.
-"I finally found you, brother..."
-"Toran. Has your leg recovered yet?"
As soon as Horatio spoke, Toran's hand shot out and grabbed his knee. Toran's face became contorted with anger and pain.
-"No. It'll never be healed completely thanks to what you did to it. Now just give me your staff and this'll all be over."
Horatio chuckled.
-"Wow, you're even thicker than I thought you were. Do you see me carrying my Timestaff? No. I don't have it, and guess what? You'll never get it. Because you'll have to kill me to find out where it is, and we both know that will render the staff useless. So, you're utterly and completely boned. So you might as well kill me."
Toran's face became even more contorted as he thought. He obviously didn't think that often. Eventually, Toran smiled and looked at Horatio.
-"That'll be great. You'll let me kill you, and-"
-"Oh, whoever said I was going without a fight?"
Horatio drew the enormous sword from his back, and almost smiled as Toran became transfixed with horror.
-"That's right, brother, I was the one who took the Timesword, the only weapon to be wielded by our family. And guess what? It accepted me unlike it did with our father. Like I said, you're boned."

Sin looked at taon. "hmm one is the same as me. And now they aren't family. I don't have any family like you are thinking. These are my self appointed guardians." She said as she picked up the staff, and felt a strange power flow through it.
Letting herself do a small merge, she got a concept idea of what it did, but doubting she could use it. "any ways buster you drink that up and we will be off to work here soon." Said Sin though her voice was faint and quite. Hobbling over to him she put her splinted ankle in his lap and waited for him to do what he said.

D: Toan looked down at the cup and said sorta in a sarcastic tone "Uh thanks looks woooonderfull..."he then looked down at it again pluged his nose and swallowed the whole thing down. 'Blegh!"Toan said and spat a little. He looked around at the big man and the other boy. He then kneeled by Sin's ankle and held his hands over it. "Now what i'm gonna do Sin I won't take no for an answer. Oh and you three"Toan said adressing Horatio, Bun, and Clurk "You CANNOT tell anyone about what i'm about to do okay?"he then nodded and his hands began to glow a soothing color of blue. The Sin's ankle seemed to disapear for a second then reapear fine but out of sight because of Toan's pants his ankle turned into the mangledish ankle that Sin just had...))

Khyn let Fiasco open her door, considering he was already doing so. "Thanks," she mumbled as she got out of the car. She grabbed her backpack and slung it over both shoulders. As Fiasco quickly shut the car door and locked it with a beep, she turned towards the arcade. Even though it was early afternoon, the flashing neon lights were already lit. She waited for the boy to catch up and then walked inside.
Khyn reached into her pocket and grabbed her coin purse out. She had $7 and a few small coins. Enough to play for a little bit. She grabbed the bills and moved towards the coin exchange machine. She slipped the bills inside and got the corresponding tokens. With those deposited in her pocket, she looked to Fiasco.
"I'm gonna go play Dungeon Wizards." She gave a slight nod in the general direction of the game.

After chaseing Khyn to the door, Fiasco too put about five dollars into the change machine. He had more quarters in his pocket, but they were for a more nefarious purpose. He looke at her as she nodded in the direction of Dungeon Wizards. "A game I'm not familiar with, but I'll try anything once. Lead the way." He gave a slieght bow and motioned her forward with his hand. All the while, listening to some unheard voice, deep in the back of his mind. ~Looks nothing like a goat.~

((Horatio has left the building and is out side of town doing his own thing.))
Sin just looked and watched, while on clurk a blank face with slightly disturbed eyes stared at the man. While Bun Che Che on the other hand let out low whistle. "Naw we wont say crap... Besides if you think that is odd, you should see what Sin can do with her bod..... OMPH!" Said Bun but was cut off as he was sent flying across the room and into the cement reinforced wall. Sin was very very red in the face from embarrassment.
A slight tic was seen under her eye as they went to a darker shade of that white blue. "No I am not phased at all, and this is simular to a talent that a friend of mine had.. Besides if you hadn't guessed .... Silence is how I am surviving, so the bio lab jerks don't take me back again." Sin said almost to quietly to hear. A sad expression on her face as she witnessed her best friend and lover die in her arms. A single tear fell down her check slowly, leaving a shiny trail.

Horatio grimaced at the puddle in front of him, sword bloodied and only identifiable thing left of Horatio's brother laying in front of him, too gory for mention. Horatio cleaned his sword and wiped any blood off of himself. This wasn't the first time someone died because of Horatio. Horatio sheathed his sword and kept walking, leading his pursuers away from Sin and his timestaff, or at least Horatio hoped.

Toan looked at sin and whiped the tear off her face with his finger "Now come on, don't cry try to put that stuff past you."he said in a caring tone then patted her head sorta liek a dog's "Now lets go to school before your bid freind forces to me drink more of that stuff"he whispered then made a sick looking face sticking his tounge out.

Clurk just raised an critical eyebrow at the young man. "Hey your not drunk any more are you... And don't pat her on the head like a dog. And Sin get your butt in gear.... you agreed to this job, so go do it." HE said in a some what gruff voice. Bun Che Che stood and dusted his body off. A nice imprint of his body in the wall next to several others.
Walking over to Toan, he leaned down and whispered in his ear. "I feel for you man. He shoves that crap down my throat every time us three get wasted. But unlike them I get the hang overs." His voice really sympathic to Toan. Patting the man on the shoulder he walks over to the window. A thoughtful look on his face.
Sin got the hint quite well, standing she did a few stretches and jumps to test her ankle. She looked at what she had on. A small frown on her face at her outfit. IT was made for clubbing not teaching rapscalions at a high school, not that she didn't blend in well with them because of her age. "Alrighty then let's go. Will you Two go to our appartments and check everything out?" She said in a no nonsense tone of voice. Making the other two jump straight to attention and nod. They left first leaving Toan and Sin alone in the room.
