I want to be part of a good guy team! =(
Evil is too popular, and I'm not one for popular. I'd rather be the do-gooder who always saves the princess, but never gets past first base with her because I'm too honorable and she's way too much of a stuck-up b***h to put out for the guy who freakin' risked his neck to save her!

Good guy team is overrated. So is evil.
You're either a person blinded by their beliefs, or a person blinded by their despair.
I'll be the grey team instead. The team that gets the job done.
Also - Rylen. Congratulations on advancing to the second round.

Thank you, Snow! I really enjoyed our fight and would not mind a rematch in the future. Although I would like a swordfight using my revamped swordsman.
Who I also want to be a good guy, but you're right. It's better to ride the line, because maybe that way he would actually get laid for his efforts.

For all intents and purposes, Deitric has the sort of moral compass you would expect from Achilles in The Illiad.
Which makes him good, I guess.
I mean, it's really hard to claim to be "good" when you're willing to off and kill some dude, then drag his body around behind your chariot as a trophy.
But playing straightforward "good" or "evil" characters is hard, because you see people so rarely operate in strict black/white terms. It's always shades of gray.

Rylen: I'll be looking forward to it.
And for the moral talk - good and bad are the exact same thing. There is no difference between it. All that matters is how people interpret it, and how people portray it.
Good people have the ability to do bad, and even the most villainous character have the ability to do good deeds.
Such is the way of moral - the paradox between good and evil.

I'll be the grey team instead. The team that gets the job done. Because there's totally a shortage of mercenaries on this site... The Darth Vizzle But playing straightforward "good" or "evil" characters is hard, because you see people so rarely operate in strict black/white terms. It's always shades of gray. Oh come on. Half the fun of playing a paladin is being RIDICULOUS. Cael 0x It's better to ride the line, because maybe that way he would actually get laid for his efforts. Women love to tease the chivalrous ones. Maybe he wouldn't get laid but he'd get everything else this site's TOS allows for.

themightyjello That is true, Vansin. Though I'd really been looking forward to making a group of good-doers based out of a refugee camp that venture out into vampire bars and dispense much needed JUSTICE in a way that makes them antagonists to the 90% population of 'dark, emo, evil' characters on this site. It's a cool sounding idea. And then you'll try it. And then you'll realize why I'm so gung-ho on making a group of bad guys who cooperate. As for shades of grey guys. Moral ambiguity is hackneyed on this site and in popular media. I find clear sides able to explore similar themes without running so much of the risk of being utterly boring.
