See, I'm not the only one getting mad when they lose a tourny.

Ok, ok, you know how white people have Hitler? Black people now have Vintrict. One was a mass-murdering ********, the other is simply completely retarded and likes playing girls too much.

Now, ya, I lost by a big difference because one of the judges was retarded. By virtue of the point system, my loss makes sense. What doesn't make much sense to me is saying, "oh, well, this is a retarded way of doing things... lets just change it in round two" because... that's like getting into your car, realizing it has no brakes, and deciding you'll fix it when you get back from your drive to the store.

So, if you lose when two other judges said you won, because someone decided to score without using their brain, then, I'd be mad if I was you too.

I've talked about people using abilities that they had as they were said they could be used being counted as spamming before, so it kind of makes me wonder if characters who have to rely on their abilities more because well, they're not hulks in a world of hulks, are at an inherent disadvantage,

And it makes me wonder about some of my own abilities since our characters have a lot of similarities KB, but I haven't been told anything yet about their current status. I'd honestly prefer to be told something needs to be taken out now before I go on and use it and then get reamed for it because it's supposedly against the rules that aren't listed under the actual rules thread, or the judges thought something is OP but comments weren't available to even know that and nobody has contacted me to adjust accordingly.

Characters who rely heavily on their abilities while not being the most physically empowered characters are fair because there's a clear give and take. You can use abilities more often, which might be more varied.. but in return your character isn't going to go stand toe to toe with Mike Tyson or something, even if they are still a decent enough fighter to defend themselves.

Of the same token, playing a character who can do BOTH (fight exceedingly well in close combat AND use powers) almost always requires that you develop 1) a charge system or 2) some sort of drawbacks or something to maintain fairness. I choose the latter for my character via "feedback."

And, on the other side of the spectrum, a character who is physically a Billy Bad-a** is going to have to suffer from the fact that they will have very little in the ways of techniques or external, active/"activated" abilities.

It's really rare that I say this sort of stuff... but I have to admit, I agree with what KB said up there. If that happened to me, and then they went and changed it. I'd feel pretty sore about it.
