Uncle Harry's still alive, but just barely. He's not expected to make it much longer.
He has some sort of lymphoma, which, I don't know. For those unaware, lymphoma is cancer of the lymph nodes. I've never been totally clear on what a lymph node is, but they run through the body, I think. He's also severely malnourished, and he's had surgery just a week ago to remove a benign tumor from the inside of his stomach. He's improving, but not enough to give much hope.
Grammy is so strung out...

Kurai Mori Lymph nodes are part of the lymphatic system, also known as the immune system. Various nodes secrete various things, like lymph fluid and hormones and things like that. There's a couple near your throat, in your arm pits, and in your groin, and sometimes they swell when you get sick. x_X
crying ;; Hang in there Anu-grammy! Thank you, Madam Kurai. I often get a throat infection that causes the lymph nodes in my throat to become rather swolen and tender. I'll be sure to pass the sentiments on to Mammy. She'll adopt you on the spot, no doubt.

sweatdrop I hate reading war stories...
In Lit we had to read "The Things The Carried" a short narrative type story about this platoon in the VietNam war... cry war stories always make me feel sick to my stomache and sad.

In Lit we had to read "The Things The Carried" a short narrative type story about this platoon in the VietNam war... cry war stories always make me feel sick to my stomache and sad. my 10th grade year, we only read sad depressing stories the only happy story we read was A Midsummer's Night Dream
