{Kyle : Atlantica : City}
After meeting up with everyone, Kyle started to swim around, exploring the city while he still could. He wanted to remember what it was like, in case it was destroyed during the battle. Swimming closer to the ground, he trailed a hand in the sand and tugged it along, wanting to test the resistance of the water. As it didn't seem too bad, he kept on swimming until he came to an open space, relatively devoid of people. He'd still be able to hear any alarm or that sort (not that he'd need it with the charms) but it was out of the way, somewhere for him to sit and get rid of the sick feeling in his stomach.
Stupid pre-battle jitters...

[Anthony ~.~ Shipwreck Cove ~.~ Black Pearl]
What can he do? Nothing much except upheave the ground, punch a person into last Tuesday with his ridiculous gauntlets, and cover the battle field with a lightning storm that'll turn his victims into burnt toast... "Oh, nothing cool like hovering," he responded modestly. "I mean, I have these." He summoned his massive gauntlets. "And it comes with a pair of these." The gauntlets' slowly lowered the spear-headed chains concealed within, which the knight wrapped his mechanical fingers around. "If this was, like, an MMO, and you were all like, 'LF1M, need tank,' I'd respond..."

[John.:Shipwreck Cove:.Black Pearl]
"Aw, f*** ya bro, tank brothas in action!" John exclaimed slapping Anthony on the chest. "So like I'll smack'em with my hammer to bludgeon their faces in and you can impale them while we both use our elemental s**t and make everything a magical physical mess of chaos and blood and such! Woo!"
At the last "woo", John whipped around and shot a blast of thunder energy at the water. It was quickly carried a distance as the energy dissipated through the ocean currents. He smiled, excited for the bloodshed about to be had.

Anthony felt slightly overwhelmed by John's excitement. He tends to be less explicit with his enjoyment (unless it's something he could totally fanboy over), unlike John who openly expresses it--even going as far as shooting some lightning into the ocean.
"How cool," the knight said. "We're both tanks and we both control lightning! We could be a pretty awesome duo. We gotta get each others' back during the fight."

[Matthew :-: Atlantica :-: City]
"Deaugh! Ghost!" Matt exclaimed as he jerked his hands away from the sphere. He glanced around in instinct trying to pinpoint where the voice came from until it clicked that it came in through his mind again. 'Izzat you Kyle? I have no idea where I am, I've been wandering the city for what, a week now? That battle still going to happen?' he asked, still not totally "there."

[Kyla: Atlantica: Throne Room]
“I am tired.” Kyla didn’t lie, it was no use. Jenny had a strange ability to read people- she wasn’t entirely sure how it worked, but it was obvious to the artist to not try something so disrespectful to the musician warrior. This of course made her cover up all the more bitter, so the best thing Kyla could do was just try and avoid saying anything false verbally. Jenny had so much trust in her- it broke her heart how kind she could be. Kyla settled closer to her looking into the distance, unfolding her book and swiping to a new clean page. Her preparations for battle were finished, but she was always re-thinking and rechecking her strategies. “I’m glad you had it with you, I guess in a way it kept me at ease. I wanted everyone to be together… so I could watch over them. I know it’s not my place to- but I just decided that’s what I would do. I keep wondering- who’s going to be next… it worries me to the point I can’t sleep. As long as you kept those pages close to you- it brought me relief to know somehow I could help protect you in the end. No matter where I was. “Kyla turned towards Jenny then and looked into her soft brown eyes. They were so thoughtful up close, it made the artist regret not having the chance to talk more with her.
She looked like… she’d understand. Would she understand? “Well- don’t hold any inhibitions about using it now- if something seemed desperate go ahead- I have plenty of energy to spare. I’ve done all nighters before anyways..” she actually grinned at Jenny then-“ Insomnia comes with the artistic persuasion. Besides, if you do use it, I’ll just make another. I’ve been working on more actually. Once I understand more about everyone’s powers I want to create something for each person.“ She flipped through her pages fondly, the doodled and scribbled etchings of research and progress. Some were devoted to making more attacks while others were clearly her own introspective study concerning the make-up of hearts. Kyla apparently wanted to make good on her claim to try and find a way to restore hearts. If she could- then maybe… maybe they could save not just the nobodies… but others who may fall along the way. After closing her book Kyla sighed and shrugged- “ I think I better check the front line, and see if there’s any change.”
[Axel: Shipwreck Cove: Black Pearl]
“ Oh- so I’M the one in charge now? I like the sound of that.” He chuckled, “ I betcha Blondie(Cloud) would just jump for joy to learn I took over.” It was no secret those two seemed to have a hate/partnership/mockery friendship going on and it was funny to witness by now. If Cloud ever heard Axel went rouge- no doubt the ex soldier would be First in line to chop him into ribbons. “Anxious about the fight?” he asked standing beside them and looking over the railing. “Things are about to get crazy again- never a dull moment. I’d have jumped ship had I not seen a possible investment of my interests here.” He glanced at Demyx then- “what you say about that? “ He was talking about what the bookworm had mentioned at the bar the other night. “Zexion was willing to jump ship for his own sake- now he just might have missed the boat entirely. Ooooooh could you imagine rubbing THAT in his face!? He might actually put on his pissed off face!” he plastered a cheeky grin for Dawn. “You look like you’re about to go grey little girl- feeling alright?”

[Dawn ; Elizabeth : Shipwreck Cove : Black Pearl]
Dawn's mind had went blank as she started to focus on the inner thoughts of her head. She came out of it slightly when Axel mentioned Zexion. Her eye twitched slightly. Zexion had been the one who betrayed them. If he didn't they might not of ended up on the Flying Dutchman. Where they lost James to Ajora. She also had that seal placed on her by Kyle's replica. If Zexion didn't have his change of heart, those events might not of happened. Her thoughts had been so focused on what ifs she barely noticed that Axel said something to her.
"Huh?" Dawn said looking up at the Nobody. It took several moments for her mind to click what he asked her, "Oh... yeah I just got things on my mind. A lot of things have happened. There is still much to come in this upcoming fight. It is hard to tell who or what we are to face. I guess I am just scared. There are those that I don't want to face."
Dawn soon looked away from Axel towards the water as a natural wind made her hair move out of her face.

Sayrike::Atlantica::City Everyone had seemed to split off once they reached Atlantica and the situation had been explained. Honestly, Sayrike didn't want to know the details too much; she was at the point beyond thinking. She just wanted to do. Give her some instructions, and she'd dive into it with gusto. All of this waiting...thus far on her adventures, she never had to wait for anything. Events just seemed to happen. Besides, she had already experienced her own moment of quiet, and now was the time for action. Sigh...I need to wander around.After a few minutes of getting a good idea of the city (and generally getting lost), she came to a bit of a clearing. One of the other Earthlings was there, sporting a top hat and glasses. Honestly, Sayrike couldn't remember his name. There were just way too many new faces, and she hadn't talked with him in particular yet. Not wanting to be rude (and to get to know everyone better), Sayrike swam over to him. "Hello there! How are you holding up?" the masked girl inquired. But her mind was also simultaneously trying to think of some kind of strategy for the upcoming battle. (Bard, I'm going by your picture from the profile thread, so if you've changed what you've looked like since then, tell me and I'll edit this.)
(ProTip: A top hat probably wouldn't work underwater...) (Yeah, but neither would a flute. It's magic, you never know.) (Magical weapons is one thing, attempting to swim with a top hat is another. It's magical clothing, but clothing all the same, so the currents would just take it off xD Unless he had a strap around his chin...)

{Bobbi .:. Atlantica .:. Throne Room}
Bobbi finished her conversation with the Captain of the Guard (or whatever he was; she still hadn't gotten his rank or title, and it seemed rude to ask by now), and looked around. Kyla and Jenny were talking, and it didn't seem like anyone else was around. There wasn't much for the Archer to do, so she sequestered herself into an out of the way corner, and simply observed for a few minutes. Then she got an idea.
:Hey, Dawn,: Bobbi "called" over the charms. :How goes the preps? We're kinda quiet down here. Buncha waiting. And waiting. And some waiting for spice!:
These charm things worked better than text messages!
{Demyx .:. Shipwreck Cove .:. Black Pearl}
"His loss, man," Demyx said when Axel mentioned Zexion. The Melodious Nocturne had no real opinion on Zex's apparent double-cross. The Cloaked Schemer was an enigma to him, and Demyx had never been able to figure out his motives, other than the usual "get our hearts back" agenda. "Maybe he thought the guys he threw in with were a better bet. Maybe he just finally lost it. Too much thinking is bad for you."

Mitsudo Tenshi [Nick :: Jadis' Castle :: Armory]Nick turned another corner, walking into the armory with a small amount of entitlement. He wouldn't admit it out loud, but he felt like the armory was his and everything inside was his and his alone. He glanced at an Al-Bhed rifle, grabbing it with his left hand while he picked up a sheathed shortsword with his right and clasping it around the newly forming belt made from the Darkness. Grabbing a sheath for the rifle, he made a glance towards a sash with five throwing knives knives sheathed within. His gloved finger traced along the blade carefully as to not cut himself, but Nick couldn't help but hesitate. He had no knowledge of how to use them, and wouldn't have an opportunity to learn before this battle coming up. Perhaps he could have the Guado teach him, if any knew how to properly throw a blade.
A sudden realization struck him as he looked towards Teacher. Where were all the Guados? He hadn't seen a single one on the whole walk through the castle, and the cloaked woman hadn't mentioned them missing. Had they already left the castle? "Teacher, where are the Guado servants? I was hoping one of them could teach me to toss a blade after I play with Ajora and his crazy plan, whatever it is." [ Teacher : Narnia : Jadis' Castle ]"The Guado have been... removed," she responded, an obvious morose tone underlying her words. "Last night, when the Darkness was reawakened..."There was a pause, and then a... change. "Seymour has had to change his plans." she said, her tone frank and nonchalant. "His ideas have to be postponed for the overall goal. As such, this castle is empty, save myself."

[ Kyle : Atlantica : Ariel's Cove ]
"Ah, thanks!" he responded, happily drinking the pseudo-ether. The moment it touched his tongue, his body wanted to convulse; it took quite a bit of willpower to prevent himself from shoving it down his throat as fast as he could. He was controlling mass amounts of energy, but his body was in a perpetual state of emptiness. Since his energy was still around and under his control, his reserves weren't naturally refilling... so this was like a shot of pure gold.
As Noelle concentrated on his balance, she would have gotten a predictable image. It was foggy, due to her lack of practice and preparation, but the general idea was obvious: his Light, though brighter than an average person due to his status as an Earthling (why that was remained a mystery), was shaky, wearily holding its place as the foundation; the Darkness was not active, yet nor was it slumbering--it was restless, anxiously fluctuating around the Light, looking for any crack to penetrate.
"That should help out," he said, finishing off the Ginseng with a grin; his violet eyes seemed to be a shade brighter, and the seals weren't quite so dull. He gave her a reassuring grin. "I wouldn't be too nervous. We have a sizable force and enough fire power to keep them on the defensive. I've talked with Calypso, so I'm fairly certain we have her aid... the only unknown is Atlantis, and we'll be going there just as soon as we win here."
---
"... Matt, darling, you've been down here for just an hour or two. You... you really need a watch."
The Starlight fluttered around for a bit before a violet pupil appeared in the center, looking at him.
"Look, you see the castle?" he asked, looking toward the massive golden palace that could not possibly be missed from any angle in the city. "Jenny and Kyla are waiting there, and they should be able to help you out. Try not to have a break down before the fight?"

[Jenny :: Atlantica :: Throne Room]
Jenny smiled, it was a bittersweet smile; how much these past few days had changed everyone. They were all thrown into this world and while they received instruction and direction from King Mickey, no one told them exactly how heartbreaking the journey was going to be. Maybe, it would have been better if they all carried on as strangers, then it would hurt less- no, Jenny couldn't afford to think like that and even if she could; her mind wouldn't let her. So, the musician carefully folded up Kyla's gift and safely stowed it away.
"It makes sense, I admire you for watching over all of us. You have always tried your hardest to keep us safe and I know you kept Kyle company all throughout the night... he can be stubborn," Jenny chuckled, hoping that she didn't make the Holy Dragoon sneeze wherever he was. Then her face became serious again, "I hope that when the time comes that I can do the same for each of you." Without really thinking, Jenny gently wove their fingers together; the touch of Kyla's hand seemed to bring the mage comfort as if showing that they were all real. Jenny took in all the beautiful drawings as they flipped across their vision, each line, each contour... created with such care and devotion. Jenny fell silent, absorbed in the art and in her own thoughts so that she was slightly startled when the book closed. Her hand fell away as she nodded, "I'll accompany you."

[Matthew :-: Atlantica :-: City -> Palace]
Matt reacted to the orb turning into a giant floating eye as calmy and rationally as anyone else would have. "Deaugh! Sauron!" He followed the eye's gaze towards the palace which was totally not there for the past century he was wandering. He listened to Kyle's instructions and nodded to himself. 'Okay, I'll head on over there then. And you're not my real mom," he replied. He gave the "Eye of Sauron" one last glance, then propelled himself towards the palace.
---
As Matt approached the palace, he couldn't help but take in the sight. It was much more breathtaking in person than in the animated forms he was accustomed to. Admittedly he was also trying to see if "that" tower actually existed, but didn't devote much time to trying to find it. He swam into the palace, then paused to think about WHERE Jenny and Kyla may be. Deciding the most likely locations before a battle would be either the throne room or a barracks of sort, he settled on the throne room and found it easily. He spotted the pair inside and waved to them. "Howdy ladies, I hear the battle is still on."

[Nicholas :: Jadis' Castle :: Armory]
"...Ah, I see. Well, that's a shame." Nick responded without emotion, seeming more interesting in the various weaponry and armor than in the fact of the Guado servants' fates. He scratched the side of his face, looking up to the cloaked woman. He stared quietly for a long moment, then turn back towards the weapons.
"So, what will happen to this castle? And why didn't Seymour mention any of this? Or does he no longer trust me since my sudden decision to work with the Replicas?" He questioned, still glancing at the multitude of weapons. So many choices, it was hard to decide if he should take anything more.

[ Teacher : Narnia : Jadis' Castle ]
She tilted her hooded head at him, obviously emphasizing her questioning tone to come.
"The Darkness was reawakened last night--you were there," she stated, as if the obvious weren't obvious enough. Apparently, it wasn't. "At what point between then and now has Maester Seymour even seen you, let alone spoken to you?"
"As far as the castle, it will be left as it is," she explained, returning to her normal posture. "I will remain until you and Sir Louis no longer need it, though there might be times when I am called elsewhere."
