Yeah! I just read it in the EGL Community at LJ -- then I looked in my Gothic Lolita Bible 12 [I think] and it has a kind of ad for it. Never realized it sweatdrop Haha! I'm in the EGL community too! <<--Saw it done that way on the Food Network, tried it, loved every minute of it.Yup. Tomato soup and grilled cheese is old school deliciousness. Especially with a slice or two of nice ripe tomato in your grilled cheese.
I think I'm one of the only people in the world who respect onions for their generous contributions to the food world. crying Everyone else I know hates them.
Complex flavors are so win.I love what onions add flavorwise, but can't eat them if they're not cooked totally. There's an enzyme in em that makes me ill if its not broken down with cooking...
I think my favorite is either rosemary or basil. whee
As for cheeses, I will just have to go with feta. Feta > world with salads. T-TSeasoningwise I like what cinnamon and sage add to things. You would be amazed what a tiny bit of cinnamon can add to a cut of meat or some vegetables. And sage is all about roasts. For cheeses I'm quite fond of bleu cheese and sharp cheddars. The only cheese that I'm picky about is swiss. I only eat it when it is part of a cheese blend or on a reuben. Reubens = uberwin... but you wouldn't eat them due to the presence of cow.
I don't cook much at all. I do bake a little bit more now, thanks to Mikashi and her helping me out from the beginning. whee I can handle helping my mom cook some Indian food though. One of the few cases where I have some skill with a spatula is when making the Indian bread known as puri, which is light and flakey, and the coolest part? It puffs up when you fry it in boiling oil, and I mean serioiusly just shoots up. whee Kids love it.
I think I know sort of how to make fried rice too...Indian style. cool Puri rocks, and I love tandoori dishes too. Indian food is tasty as all hell and some of the beers are quite good. If we're on the note of indian food, we can't really forget about mint.
My friends who've eaten it like to refer to it as the "puffy bread". xd Another thing I noticed a lot of people like are all the panir dishes...I guess you could describe them as the "cheese cubes"? They're usually made with spinach or curry. Ever tried it?

hilaroma So my throat is almost completely swollen shut and in screaming pain. I missed all three of my classes today, and I may end up missing the boyfriend's yoyo demo... crying *wanders off to find something to kill*
