"Like a little guard dog, coming on command." Khalid snapped, though he wore a triumphant grin. "Don't bother trying to protect him, Kira. Nothing wrong was going on, was there, Ryou?" He asked, addressing the stunned boy, who blinked, hen shook his head dully. "See? False alarm."

Khalid shrugged slightly, getting to his feet, and moved over to the far side of the couch, opposite of where Ryou sat. He shot a glare at the boy. "You're no better." He spat. "Calling out for help like that, it helps prove how much of a coward you are." He turned away slightly when Ryou reeled backwards, stung by hose words, tears brimming the boy's eyes and spilling out.

Kira pissed went over and backhanded khalid so he fell off the couch.Sitting down on the couch beside ryou she gently rubbed his back "there there ryou its alright."

A glazed look was starting to come into Ryou's eyes as he sighed softly, leaning backwards, his eyelids suddenly heavy. He blinked slowly, trying to focus on Kira, tears still falling silently.

Kira continued to gently rub his back.Her hand reached up and gently whiped away his tears "It's alright ryou.."

Ryou's wandering hand found Kira's, and he squeezed it gently before silently closing his eyes, falling back asleep.
Picking himself up, Khalid glared at Kira. 'You're throwing your life away because of Ryou, I hope you know that."

"Really?" Khalid asked, arching one of his eyebrows. "Because I could tell you the different times Ryou had been, with and without his consent, involved with various people."

"Wait..." Ryou murmured, his eyes still closed. He opened them slowly, staring blearily at the ceiling. He turned his gaze to Khalid, and started to ask, "What did you...?" He trailed off, then whispered, "Can you come here?" He hardly seemed aware of Kira.
Khalid paused, his eyes narrowing sharply when Ryou had started to ask something, but relaxed when the boy trailed off. He cast a questioning look towards Kira, arching an eyebrow. "Do I have your permission?" He asked mockingly, folding his arms over his chest.

Khalid nodded slightly in response, then moved cautiously over to Ryou, still watching Kira cautiously from the corner of his eyes. Ryou's gaze fell on Khalid and a small smile flickered faintly over his features, but it was merely a trace of a smile. Khalid sat down on the edge of the couch, helping the boy sit up as he struggled to do so. "Kira was just telling me to leave." He said indifferently, shrugging. "If you wanted to tell me so--" He was cut off by Ryou abruptly leaning forward, kissing Khalid gently, and a silence fell. Ryou moved his hands up to embrace Khalid, running his fingers along the angel's back, pausing at the feathery wings. They broke, Khalid blinking in shock, Ryou blushing faintly.
