Hey Pasta My sisters spent twenty minutes this evening getting mad at me/insulting me through text messages because I won't go join them at a bar...because it's the night before my wedding. And people wonder why I strongly dislike my family. And now your husband is part of the family. Hooray! Also, congratulations by the way.

Thank you! =)
Apparently we had the "coolest/best/most fun wedding ever" because we served pizza and ice cream.

No wonder everyone in the MU hates their superheroes. Superheroes ******** s**t up.
Avengers is filming in Cleveland right, now. Literally five minutes after Thor showed up on set, we got hit with crazy thunderstorms. Well, that is normal enough for Ohio.
But guys. The day after somebody finally scored the rare and elusive set pics of Loki? WE JUST HAD A ******** EARTHQUAKE. Yeah, I know most of you live on the west coast and are all "So?" But, like... OHIO, okay? We don't get earthquakes big enough to feel! So I would like to take this time to remind everyone that, according to Norse myth, earthquakes are caused by Loki writing in pain from the snake venom dripping into his face when Sigyn has to empty the bowl she uses to catch it.
Norse gods, man! Norse gods!

Yeeeeeah I had that same reaction.... "So....earthquake?" Now the news is filled with nothing but earthquake news. ):
Reminds me of the time Conan made fun of L.A. because they were freaking out that they were getting rain. XD
I freak out if we even get snow here.

I didn't really freak out. It was just... weird. I had just gotten a cup of coffee and sat down on my bed. And I noticed that my bed was shaking. I figured "Oh, it is because I just sat down and it will settle in a second." Only it didn't and I nearly spilled my coffee. So after I realized it was not just my bed, but kinda the whole house, I was like... "Are we really having an earthquake, now?" So I went out to the garage and asked my mom, "Hey, did we just have an earthquake?" And she said she thought we did. So.
The freakout came ten minutes later when I made the Loki connection. Because I am a massive Marvel and mythology nerd.

Modern Attention Spans: A Twitter Case Study
30 seconds in: "OMGWTFBBQ an earthquake just hit!" 2 minutes in: "News is saying it's over 5.8!" 5 minutes in: "My heart goes out to everyone out there. I hope to god you're all safe." 15 minutes in: "Everybody read this!!1!" *insert some useless earthquake safety site* 30 minutes in: "LOL!!" *link to a blog making fun of the panic.* 45 minutes in: "Okay, enough with the updates. You ******** are clogging my feed."

XD What a well timed earthquake!

I've lived in CA my whole life and have never felt an earthquake. I'm usually either asleep or out of town when we get them.
Also, Pyre, you were in my dream the other night. You and I were dressed up in these ridiculously fancy old-fashioned evening gowns going around a city collecting little bronze roses. *shrug* I think we were saving the world somehow...or something, I'm not sure.
