Lanshor followed his father outside and nodded "Yes I forgive you. I just wish you would have asked instead of played games like that dad." The young man silently groaned inside when Yawgmoth said he'd be even more of an a** today. He didn't like where this was going. But it was for mother, for all the people he cared for. "Why are we out here again?"

"Because boy. We need an open space for you to....vent. When your power peaks you will know what to do. We tried all night to get you as angry as we did before and nothing worked. But you have some control over it. You need total control to defeat the shadow. And we're going to help you get that far." Yawgmoth put his hand on Lanshor's shoulder and smiled. "We will not let your own power consume you or rush into death. Your mother would have us killed the very second she found out. You'll be fine. We promise. Just listen to us."

Lanshor was confused. Vent? He wasn't angry at anything yet....but that must be what Yawgmoth meant by him being an a**. Lanshor frowned "Alright. I trust you. For as much as I don't want to fight I don't want to let that thing harm my mother..." he said with a sigh awaiting his dad's instructions.

"Sit still. Think angry. Get mad. Let it all go. Do you understand?" Yawgmoth jumped back a good distance he knew once Lanshor started going it would be hard to stay steady near him. "Now then. Imagine. Use your brain to view what we are going to show you. And let it fuel you" he called out to his son. Yawgmoth's powers of darkness devled quite deep into the mind of his son. Once there they blinded Lanshor's vision and replaced what he saw with images. Images of The shadow beheading Crow, images of the shadow stabbing Raven, anything Yawgmoth's mind could think of that would push his buttons. The images grew more and more violent as Yawgmoth's therapy went on. Lanshor had to explode to gain a control of his awesome power and there was no other method to get his son to blow up than showing the people he cared for the most getting victimized. "Come on. get mad" Yawgmoth said quietly to himself awaiting.

Lanshor blinked in confusion but when his vision changed and he saw what images his father displayed he grew sad not angry. He tried to close his eyes to shut them away but they were in his mind and they wouldn't go away. Tears welled in his closed eyes why was he showing him these? What point did this serve? As they grew more violent lanshor came to a realization. If Yawgmoth and whatever team he assembled to fight the shadow failed...this...this is what would happen. No....it couldn't be. Lanshor clenched his fists and opened his tear stained eyes as the tears ran down his cheeks he screamed in a furious rage. An enormous surge of power blew the ground out from under him and caused a massive gust of wind to spiral around the young man. However, instead of sinking down with the ground he stayed hovering in the air standing in the spot where the ground used to be. Trees cracked and he only grew stronger. His eyes turned into a vengeful hating red color the heat from his energy turned the watery tears into dried stains on his handsome cheeks. The images kept going. Yawgmoth hadn't stopped them and that only made him more angry. More filled with the hatred for anything that would dare harm his family. His power hit a limit but in Lanshor's rage stricken mind that limit was a barrier that had to break. With another scream of rage the limit broke and his power rocketed, a burning bright red aura around him pulsating in furious rage.

Yawgmoth was blown back but managed to stand and upright in the release watching his son break all the limits that kept him back. Yawgmoth felt Lanshor pass his own strength even before Lanshor had screamed out the second time. "Unreal..." Yawgmoth commented watching his son's hidden power boom and soon catch up with the shadows. Yawgmoth had been right to assume Lanshor was the key. "Son!" he called out loudly as Yawgmoth made the images stop. "Calm down! You've got to come down or you're going to wreck the RDS as we did with too much power. You've done wonderful now come down!" he called out over the furious wind.

Lanshor stood floating in the air as the trees shattered into dust around him. Waves of power moved off of him, some threatening to grow larger and do what the last great wave had done. But he heard Yawgmoth's voice over the wind. The thought of destroying the RDS with his own power is what really broke him back to reality. With a calm and quiet percision Lanshor's massive power faded as he floated softly down to the sunken earth below. He sighed feeling the last bit fade. "Is this really what I'm meant to do? Am I supposed to have such a power if I'm meant not to fight.." he questioned himself. He felt his own power for the first time. It was larger than his father's by far. but still. it felt wrong...

"Good. Good. Calm down." Yawgmoth said walking closer. He patted Lanshor on the back. "You'll do fine. we hated to show you those images since we had to see them too but the truth is. If that thing is let loose. That is what's going to happen. Nothing can be more harsh than the reality of things. If you feel as though you cannot win we will aid you. You know we will help you. Now come on. Back home. You've done more than enough."

"I'm fine" Lanshor said with a deep breath. "I know dad. I just...I don't like fighting like you do. You know that. After this I hope I'll never have to harm another creature." he said walking off with Yawgmoth to the dungeon for the night.
