Luca was beaming. "I'll convince him frogs taste horrible," he said. This was so special, he was going to be living with the man he loved! He stuffed his own question in the back of his mind, and kissed Lori's cheek. "I'll start packing tomorrow," he said.

He turned his head to capture the intended cheek-kiss as a real kiss, missed slightly, and then stole a real one.
"Do you want help? I have tomorrow off too," Lori said, "I could even borrow a truck."

"Alright," Luca agreed, smiling. "We'll have it done quickly, that way." He leaned up to kiss Lori again. He wasn't watching the movie, anymore. It was background noise.

Lori pulled Luca into his lap and kissed him properly, stroking his jawline with a thumb. Well. This proved just how special Luca was, didn't it? He hoped the wood elf understood how much he meant to his burly lover.

Apparently the kelpie-- Kevin, Toby had to keep reminding himself, was doing well. He was at a nice formative age for whatever reason and was more amiable than more Unseelies that came through their doors. Kevin had only been here a few days, though, so he wanted to check up on him. He was lucky to find him in the hall.
"Kevin. You found the tennis court?"

"Yes," Kevin said, blinking up at Toby. "What's the point of hitting balls with these?" he held up a racquet. He studied the man for a moment, before grinning. "Hey, Agent Werewolf. Want to play tennis?"

"Some people find it fun," Toby said with a shrug. He looked down at his watch and then nodded. "Sure. I have some time." He wasn't going to start teaching the kid all of the rules, but he'd hit the ball back and forth a few times. He went back to the tennis court and took his jacket off, throwing it over a chair. He grabbed a racket and a ball and started for the opposite side of the nearest court.
"How're you liking your classes?"

"It's not really my idea of fun," the kelpie observed, before following Toby to the tennis court. "They're okay. I still don't like Lori as much as I do you, Agent Werewolf. Your girlfriend, Blondie, she says there's better things to eat than the boxed pizzas I like. And she says you're the best cook around."

"Yeah, well." Unseelies likes to cause trouble, and there was a strict no-trouble policy here, save maybe Seamus' occasional curses. "Her name is Maia, and she's right. I can teach you a thing or two if you'd like, and I know some websites. I can help you with that laptop too. Your phone hasn't come in, has it?"
He bounced the ball and whacked it relatively gently over the net toward Kevin.

Kevin gave a dismissive wave. Yeah, yeah, he knew her name. That didn't mean he was going to use it. "Really? I don't know all that much about human food. I'd like that. Not for a while, I don't think." How long did it take for a phone to come?
He lifted his racket and hit the ball back towards Toby.

Toby lobbed the ball back. "Yeah, cooking's not too hard. Once you get the hang of the basics it just gets easier. No? Alright. They must be caught up making you an identity. It can be hard with younger entities."

He hit the ball back towards Toby. "Sounds good," Kevin said, giving Toby another smile. Learning how to cook was appealing, if only so he could eat more often than he already did. "Probably. I hope it's here soon, then I can call people whenever I want to bother them!"
Which was, in theory, faster than seeking someone out in order to bother them.

"Yeah, be careful not to abuse that power. You can have it taken away," Toby warned. Funny how you only had to tell the Unseelies that. He hit the ball back.
"When do you want to go into town?"

"It's not like I have any friends to call." The kelpie shrugged, and then moved to hit the ball back. "I get to choose? Soon! Maybe this week? Can we? Where will we go?"

Toby shrugged, then stepped back to pop the ball back.
"Sure, we can go this week. As soon as you have a bank account we can go, get your some more clothes, maybe. Go eat. Whatever." Somehow he imagined this to be less fun than when he had first brought Maia out. Oh well. His job was his job.
