Seeing Achilles Cassie didn't know how to respond so she smirked and teasingly stated..

With that Wondergirl, Nightwing, and Diana continued fighting off the swarms.

::At Special Services, Lisa cried out and pointed as she saw trails of Brood breaking into the building.::
"Hartley!!"
::The two Rogues with her ground to a halt.::
"It's too late for him for sure..."
::The sound of music drifted out from the building....and suddenly the Brood dashed back out. The musically infected Brood turned on their breatheren and started tearing each other apart!::

Emma punched a hole right through one of the Brood attacking her!...
Several brood warriors flew up into the air to engage the newly arrived amazons and Thalarion warriors!...
One Brood warrior was about to pounce at Iris when a large, grey foot squashed it underfoot! Mysia looked down and blinked at the girl with all three eyes and Achilles lept off and landed at Cassandra's side!
"Forgive my lateness sister but nature called!"
A joke? From Achilles!?
The Olympian drew his sword and Virgin Spear and charged right into a mass of gathered Brood!

*Dani was thankful 'Jesse' was protecting her Dad. Dani tried to beat back the bugs to reach then but was stuck.*
"Alright That's enough."
"Ready. Set. FIRE!"
*She Blasted back a path to get down on the field.*

Meanwhile....underneath Hero High...
::Clark had used to X-ray vision at the start of the Brood battle to suss out the source of the army. He was amazed to find a nest under the school and what seemed to be a queen insect directing the creatures. He had raced to his Fortress to retrieve something and raced back.::
I'm sorry I have to do this.
::Several stingers broke on his body.::
But I can't let you stay here.
::He adjusts a few knobs and turned the machine he had brought on the Queen and her retinue. The Phantom Zone projector fired and the insectoid queen, her eggs, and her servants disappeared.::

::Hartley walked out of Special Services and smiled at the gathered Rogues.::
"So much for some peace and quiet during the day. What's going on? Is Ares attacking?"
::Lisa shook her head.::
"No, it's like, some sort of invasion! We have to get to the stadium, Len and Digger are there!"
::They might have considered themselves villains and ne'erdowells, but they were the Rogues. They stuck together. Hartley tied his bathrobe around himself and held up his flute.::
"Let's go."

Wondergirl laughed a little as she continued to take out the enemy one after the other.. now with Achilles and the amazons helping most of the brood were being killed.

Achilles shouts, "The amazons are fighting outside, and I sent the Thalarions into help!"
He looks up at his giant steed.
"Go! Help where you can!"
And Mysia trumpeted and bulled right through the wall of the stadium and began trampling whatever Brood warriors were in her path! Achilles smiled at his sister and nodded, "That's my girl!"

Amidst the terror, Virg zaps the GIANT ALIEN DEATH BUGS from the relative protection of Eve's hot pink shields.
"Sooooo... it's the apocalypse. Think you can pretend to know me now?"
"No way. Loser."
"Argh."
Scanning the chaos, he spies Chloe being evacuated into the Quinjet while Vic keeps the Brood at bay with his sonic cannon.
"If either of you spent half the time following directives that you do grousing at one another, we'd all be on schedule, wouldn't we? Eve, you must seek out Victor. He and Virgil will be able to hold a perimeter while you expand your shields."
A duststorm whips past, arcing and swirling, decimating Brood as it thunders by.
"Sooraya will be dispatching of any who manage to avoid Virgil or Victor. As the shield expands, Bryan will tag one of you, to attract the students inside. I expect to see the shield covering this entire stadium. Sooner, rather than later."
"[REDACTED] is SUCH a b***h!"
"Look who's talking."
"Argh!"
Sooraya clears a path down the bleachers to Victor, whirling outside of the shield as Victor and Bryan are enclosed inside.
"One."
"Two."
"BOO-YAH!"
"I'm pretty sure it's, 'three,' dude."
Vic and Virg stand back to back, a sonic wave bursting out of one side of the shield, a crackling wave of electricity out the other, a steady stream of force, pushing outward from the slowly expanding shield. Brood recoiling and the shock and the sound, as student after student finds themselves inside the confines of the shield.

"LEN!"
::Lisa jumped at her brother just as he fired a freezing bolt from his cold gun, carving a way for himself and Digger to get out of the locker room of the stadium. He put an arm around her waist and nodded at the rest of the Rogues.::
"Hartley."
::Hartley shook his head.::
"That's not my name anymore."
"We'll discuss it later. Let's get the hell out of here."
: biggrin igger grinned and held up a blinking boomerang.::
"The wee buggies go boom right nice, they do."
::He flung the boomerang in front of them, and they were rocked by an explosion and flying bug parts.::

Above the stadium.. Conner is using heat vision trying to take out the brood one by by one.. He flies down trying to help. Many the brood fall broken by the boys bare hands. He continues looking though the crowds... looking for Dani.
Hoping that she's safe. Conner then notice's one of the brood attacking Dani from behind he instinctuly rips it's head off to protect Dani only to stabbed in the back by another brood and then another attacks him and another. Conner is screaming in pain. Cassie off in the distance tries to fly towards him.
But alas can't reach him in time. Conner bleeds to death trying to protect Dani. Cassie is in tears.
"NO!!!"

The Brood Queen now sent to the Phantom Zone, along with the rest of her eggs and many of her soldiers, resulted in the Hive Mind to become severed!
The Brood still at the stadium and fighting slowly became more erratic in their fighting, without control....and their numbers started to dwindle!
