Another mission... and thanks for the other mission...
MISSION- Positive Reaction Any Team Aqua member is asked to catch a Plusle
Pokemon: Plusle
Funds upon completion: 500 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- MISSION - Think Negative! Any Team Aqua member is asked to catch a Minun
Pokemon: Minun
Funds upon completion: 300 --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I’m sleeping peacefully when Brian opens my door. “WAKE UP!” he yells! Startled, I send out my Electrike, but when I see it’s only Brian, I return it. “What?” I ask.
Brian tells me my mission: To go catch a Plusle and a Minun. I get dressed, get up, and go eat pancakes. When I’m done, I leave HQ and head out to catch them.
I’m walking under the Cycle Road when I see a Plusle running through the grass. I run towards it and round the corner, but I can’t see it. I keep looking for another 40 minutes in that spot, and then look other places.
Another 45 minutes later I see another Plusle running through the grass. I send out my Electrike and tell it to use thundershock. It misses, and Plusle disappears into a hole in the ground.
Strategizing, I tell Electrike to use thundershock into the hole. It obeys, and I see Plusle come out a minute later, with a bolt of lightning behind it.
I tell Electrike to use thunder wave, and it does, this time hitting Plusle and knocking it over. I tell Electrike to use thunderbolt, and it hits, making Plusle aware of me.
Plusle growls, and 4 other Plusles come up to meet it. They all see me, and they all attack Electrike with thundershock.
Electrike dodges 3 of them, but the other 2 hit him. He falls to the ground, limp.
I send out Treecko and tell it to use pound. It hits 2 of them, but the other 3 use thundershock again. Treecko dodges, and uses pound on them, but he misses and smacks the ground.
Clearly in pain, Treecko sits there trying to shake it off. I tell it to use body slam this time, and it does, taking out 1 of the Treecko. The other 4 use thundershock on it, and they all hit, taking Treecko out.
Angry now, I send out Carvanha and tell it to use tackle. It hits 2 of them, sending one of them flying and taking the other out. I grin in happiness, and tell Carvanha to use body slam.
Discovering Carvanha’s weakness, they all use thundershock. 2 of them hit him, which is enough to take him out. Extremely angry, I send out Trapinch.
I tell Trapinch to use bite, and it hits, doing much damage to one of them. The other 2 bound back and use thundershock again.
The thundershocks bounce off and fly back to their owners. One hits one, but the other misses the other. I tell Trapinch to use slam on the one that got hit, and the other 2 try to interfere. Trapinch butts them aside, and slams the one on the ground. It faints, and falls into a newly-made crater.
The other two try to headbutt Trapinch, and even though they hit, they can barely move him an inch. I tell Trapinch to bite both of them, and he hits one, and sends it flying into the other. They both fall down, but are still alive. One tries to get up, but falls forward onto its face. I tell Trapinch to take the other one out and then pin the last one to the ground.
Trapinch complies, and takes one out and pins the last on to the ground. I take a Pokeball from my belt and throw it.
Shake, shake, shake. Shake, shake, shake. Shake, shake, shake. Ding!
I caught the Plusle, but now the Minun came. I tell Trapinch to use earthquake, and he does, but all but one jump out of the way. That one gets hit hard and flies into the air. It takes a long time to hit the ground but eventually it does.
That one faints, but the other 4 are still there. I tell Trapinch to use headbutt on them, and he hits 2 of them softly, not doing much damage. They immediately get back up, and all of the Minun use spark. They all hit, and 3 of them do damage, one flies back at its owner, and hits it, sending it flying across the plain. The other sparks do a lot of damage and take Trapinch out.
I send out Poochyena, telling it to use headbutt. It hits one of them, and takes it out, as that was the one hit by the spark. The other turn on him and use spark, but Poochyena dodges them.
I tell him to use quick attack, and he does, hitting one of them with blinding speed. The others take him out with sparks.
I send out Tailow, knowing that it wouldn’t last too long because of weakness to spark. I tell it to use wing attack, and it does, hitting one and sending it skidding back on the ground. The Minun all use spark, but none of them hit, and Tailow came back for another wing attack. He hits the one he hit before, and takes it out.
The other 2 are aggravated. The use spark and take Tailow out.
I send out Vulpix, and tell it to use ember. It hits one and takes it out. ‘Finally,’ I think. ‘one left.’ The last one is also the strongest.
I tell Vulpix to use ember, and it uses it again, but misses this time. The Plusle uses thunder and singes Vulpix’s tail. I tell it to use quick attack, and it hits Plusle, doing some damage. I tell it to use it again, but prepared for it this time, the Plusle uses thunder in front of it. It hits Vulpix, and Vulpix goes flying through the air into my arms.
I send out my Duskull and tell it to use confusion. It hits and Plusle gets confused from it. It sees three Duskull, not one, and uses thunder randomly, hitting 10 feet away from Duskull. I tell Duskull to use night shade, and it hits, sending Plusle flying.
I pull my last Pokeball from my belt and throw it. It hits Minun.
Shake, shake, shake. Shake, shake, shake. Shake, shake, shake. Ding!
I caught Minun with my last Pokeball.
I left the area and headed back to HQ. When I got back, I showed Brian my two new Pokemon.

Gaara2000 Finally I did a mission I hope you enjoy it... MISSION- Safari Cheaters The Safari Zone is having a contest to see who can catch a Pinsir first. Some cheaters are using their own Pinsir to try to win the contest. You must stop them. (You will fight 3 cheaters, each with 1 Pinsir and 1 Heracross) Pokémon: The Pinsir that you caught Funds: 2000-3000 Pass. Just a couple things. First unless a Pokémon is switched in, it gets an attack. Second don't use moves like DragonRage when you are using Base HP calculations. Feels to cheap. Beyond that good mission, you get a Rank-up, the Pinsir, and 2,900PD.

HunterMetroid64 MISSION- The Dragons Awaken A new team called Team Dragon has emerged and has been trying to rule the world with dragon pokemon. Well they have broken into a museum and stolen a rare dragon scale! Your mission is to go and retrieve the scale! (You will fight 5 Peons and an Admin) Pokemon: Dratini Horsea Bagon Trapinch Funds upon completion: 500-2000 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Pass, excellent story but I would've liked to see the opposition a little stronger. Especially the Admin. A good mission like this will have most of your Pokémon fainted and a couple in not so great shape. But keep 1,750, the Bagon, and you get a rank-up.

Sinji bowed deeply to his leader and said, "Thank you I shall remember all those things you said to me and make sure to improve with the next mission." With that Sinji walked back to the couch taking out a small note-pad and writing down exactly what he heard as well as brainstorming on what mission he could do next.

MISSION- Get the soup fixin's! The hot springs in Lavaridge are getting way too hot! Even the old ladies finally got out! You need to go underground and move a group of Magmar, Torkoal, and Slugma! You will fight 3 of each. After you do that, you have to go to the old ladies' house and let them know it's safe to go back in and they'll give you a nice gift.
Pokemon: Magmar Torkoal Slugma
Money: 1000
Item: 2 bars of soap (1 for you and 1 for your favorite pokemon) (given by the old ladies) --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I had decided that I would take a nice break after my nice mission, so I headed over to Lavaridge for a nice soak in the hot springs, but when I arrived, I found that they were closed.
“What do you mean they’re closed?!?” I asked. The guard answered, “I’m sorry sir, but the hot springs are just too hot for anyone to get in. Several elderly ladies were sent to the hospital for burns a few days ago.” “This is just great. I’m going to get to the bottom of this so I can relax.”
“Well, sir, you could do something for us that I think might solve this problem. Take this card to the guard standing in front of the cave up the mountain a little ways. He’ll let you pass into the cave. That’s where you’ll find the problem.” The guard gave me a red card that read: Allow the holder of this card to pass into Lavaridge Springs Cave. “So why can’t you guys fix the problem yourselves?” I asked. “Well, we believe that there are fire Pokemon that are creating this extreme heat, and we just don’t have the Pokemon available to take the job.”
Before I started up the mountain, I stopped by the Pokecenter to pick up some water Pokemon. “Sorry Eon. I just can’t take you along this time. I’m going to need to use my water Pokemon for this one. Return.” Eon went resentfully into her Pokeball. “She needs to learn that she’s not everything…” For the mission I chose Mist (Vaporeon), Corphish, Wartortle, Mudkip, Marril, and Totodile. “Well, now I’m ready.”
I began the trek up the mountainside, mainly using the stairs, but where they had worn out, it was a bit more difficult, and when I finally came to the cave entrance, I was tired.
“What are you doing here?” I looked up and saw the guard who watched the cave running toward me. “The guard blocking the hot springs told me to come see you.” I showed him the red card, and he seemed satisfied. “This checks out. You’re free to enter the cave, but be careful, I’ve felt more heat coming from that entrance than ever before. You should take a rest in here before you start.”
The guard took me inside the small cabin just off the cave entrance, where he gave me a cool glass of water, which I gulped down in a hurry. “Why don’t you take a nice cold shower?” I took up his offer quickly, and soon I was refreshed. “Take this pack. It’ll keep the water bottles inside cold.” He handed me a pack, and I stuck it inside my backpack. “Thanks. That should help greatly.”
We walked out to the cave entrance together. “Now, if you need help, just give me a call with this radio.” He handed me a small radio, which I put in my pocket. “I’ll be there as fast as I can. The cave mostly has one path, but every once in a while it’ll branch off, but they won’t go back far, so you can get back to the main path quick.”
“Thanks for everything.” I entered the cave, and felt a blast of warm air. I would sure need that water, but I would try to keep from drinking it as long as I could.
I walked on for two hours, hitting dead ends, but then again finding the main path. It was getting hot now, so I was taking occasional drinks from the water bottles. Soon, I began to see a red glow from around a corner. When I turned the corner, I saw the source of the extreme heat. There were Magmar, Torkoal, and Slugma all over, breathing fire at one wall. On the other side of the wall would be where the hot springs were. On the other side of the room was a pool of lava.
I stepped into the room and was noticed instantly. The Pokemon stopped breathing fire at the wall and instead advanced on me. Three of each Pokemon stepped away from the main group.
“Why are you heating up the hot springs so much? People enjoy them.” Well, they couldn’t actually answer, but I assumed it was because they were tired of the people being so loud and disrupting their lives. “If you’re not going to stop, then I’m going to have to stop you myself. Go Corphish!” The small lobster Pokemon appeared in front of me, ready to fight. “Now, which one of you wants to battle me first?”
One of the Torkoal trotted forward and expelled smoke from its nose, trying to show who was boss. “Corphish, teach him a lesson. Use Bubblebeam!” Corphish raised its claw and opened it, releasing a barrage of bubbles, which pounded Torkoal. Torkoal used Smokescreen, sending out a jet of black smoke, which made it impossible to see. “Corphish, use Harden.” Corphish raised its defenses just before Torkoal landed on it with a Body Slam, weakening the damage of the attack. “Corphish, Crabhammer!” Corphish slammed its claw into Torkoal as it landed, flipping it over. “Now, use Water Pulse.” Corphish sent waves of water from its claw, which KOed Torkoal. “Nice one Corphish. Just keep it up. Next?”
One of the Slugma oozed into the “battlefield.” “Corphish, use Rain Dance.” Corphish spun around a few times, pointed a claw upwards, and rain clouds formed out of nowhere at the top of the cavern, gushing rain. Slugma’s fire attacks would now be next to useless, but instead of a fire attack, it looked up at the ceiling, which began to drop more than water; it was hailing rocks. Corphish was pelted again and again, occasionally breaking rocks in midair with its claws, but it was doing no good. “Corphish, Harden again.” Corphish stopped trying to swat rocks and hardened its shell. “Now, use Bubblebeam.” Bubbles once again streamed from Corphish’s claw, bursting against Slugma, and doing even more damage due to the rain. Corphish kept the attack up until a boulder fell from the ceiling and hit it on the head. Both Pokemon were KOed. “Nice job, Corphish. Take a rest.” Corphish returned to its Pokeball to rest, and I selected my next Pokemon as the next Torkoal stepped up.
"Go Mudkip!" Mudkip was released from its Pokeball and looked at the Torkoal. "I know this is your first battle with me, but make it a good one." "Mudkip Mud!" Mudkip nodded and stood its ground. "Now, start with a Water Gun." A jet of water spurted from Mudkip's mouth, dousing Torkoal, and because it was still raining, the damage was increased. Torkoal leaped into the air. "Mudkip, dodge!." Mudkip wasn't quite able to get out of the way of Torkoal's Body Slam in time, and Mudkip was crushed. Torkoal got up and leaped back. The rain began to slow down, so I decided to get off another water attack before it stopped. "Use Surf!" There was a low rumbling sound, and fissures opened up in the ground around Torkoal, and water shot out of them, sending Torkoal into the air. The rain stopped, and Torkoal wasn't finished; it turned its fall into a Fire Spin, and came straight at Mudkip, who was swallowed in the flames. "Mudkip, free yourself with Whirlpool!" The tornado of fire quickly changed into a tornado of water. Smoke filled the cavern, and when it cleared, both Pokemon were lying on the ground. "Not too bad for a first. Mudkip, return."
Next was a Magmar, but I still had four Pokemon left. "Go Marril." Marril was happy to be in battle after so long of being left in its Pokeball. I knew it wouldn't let me down. Magmar immediately started off with a Fire Punch, drilling Marril hard. "Marril, make it rain." As before, rain clouds appeared and it began to rain once again. Magmar tried to blind Marril with a Smokescreen, but it was cleared by the rain. "Marril, use Waterfall." Magmar cowered as water poured from above, smashing it into the ground. Magmar put up a protect, but Waterfall had already done most of its damage. "Finish it with a Bubblebeam." Marril spit bubbles from its mouth, and Magmar tried to dodge, but Waterfall had weakened it severely. Bubbles peppered Magmar, but it was able to stand, and it lowered Marril's defenses with a Leer. "This had better do it. Marril, tackle it." Marril rushed up to Magmar and tackled it, finally KOing it. "Nice job Marril. I hope you have enough in you to take on the next one."
The second Slugma wanted to avenge its friends, but I wasn't about to let it get the better of me. "Marril, Rollout." Marril curled up and rolled at slugma, who took the hit. Slugma hopped into the air, hoping to hit Marril with a Body Slam, but it couldn't catch Marril, who was rolling around the field. When Slugma landed, Marril hit it again, this time doing more damage. Slugma was too slow to hit Marril, so Marril just kept hitting Slugma until it was KOed.
The third Torkoal walked forward. The rain had stopped, so Torkoal used it as a good time to let of some heat with a Heat Wave, which hit and burned Marril. Now Marril probably only had one more attack left, so I decided to unleash its most powerful attack: Hydro Pump. As the powerful jet of water shot at Torkoal, it blocked the attack with Protect. Marril took damage from its burn, and I had it try Hydro Pump again, which this time broke through Torkoal's Protect. Had it still been raining, Torkoal would have been KOed, but instead Marril fainted from its burn, so I returned it and sent out Totodile. "Come on buddy. He's almost gone. Use Water Gun." Totodile did its little dance, then spit a stream of water at Torkoal, who could do nothing but watch the attack come toward him. Torkoal was KOed.
Now the second Magmar stepped up, and I knew Totodile probably wouldn't be able to handle it. "Totodile, Whirlpool!" Magmar was engulfed in a swirling tornado of water, but it broke through easily with a powerful Flamethrower. "Water Gun." Once again Totodile spit out water, and Magmar took the attack, but didn't go down. It came straight at Totodile with its fist ablaze, and struck Totodile hard, then it turned around and hit Totodile with its tail sending Totodile flying into a wall. "Totodile!" Totodile dropped to the ground and slowly got up. "Good. Use Screech!" Totodile opened its mouth and let out a loud screech, causing Magmar to cover its ears. "Now use Slash." Totodile sprinted over to Magmar and took a big swipe with its claws. Magmar howled in pain, but hit Totodile at point-blank range with a Flamethrower, taking Totodile out. "You did fine little buddy. Go Wartortle!" It was also the first time I had used Wartortle, but Magmar was weak, so he would have no problem. "Use Rapid Spin!" Wartortle retreated into its shell and shot at Magmar, spinning fast. The attack caught Magmar right in the chest, and it went down.
Now there were only two Pokemon left, and the final Torkoal decided to take me on. "Wartortle, use Rain Dance." It began to rain, and once again I had the advantage, rendering fire attacks useless. Torkoal jumped, and I had Wartortle retreat into its shell so Body Slam would do minimal damage. Once Torkoal hopped away, Wartortle came out and used Hydro Pump. Torkoal hadn't landed when the attack hit, so it was shot straight into a wall, and when it landed, Wartortle hit it again with a Water Gun, finishing it off.
Now all that was left was the Magmar, and it looked nervous, because I had taken out 8 of their Pokemon and I had lost only 4. But 4 was a pretty big number for a trainer, because that meant they had lost two-thirds of their Pokemon, but I had the advantage with Rain Dance still in effect.
"Wartortle, Hydro Pump!" I had no intention of KOing this Magmar. Hydro Pump hit Magmar, but now it looked angry instead of nervous. It held up its fist and it became charged with electrical energy. It came straight at Wartortle and slammed its fist into Wartortle's shell with a Thunderpunch, doing a great amount of damage. Wartortle was still recovering when Magmar hit it with a Firepunch. I decided to return the favor with an Icepunch, and it caught Magmar's arm, freezing it. Magmar hit Wartortle with its unfrozen arm with another Thunderpunch, and Wartortle was finished. "Go Mist!"
I was starting to feel dizzy. I was so into the battles that I had forgotten to drink from the water bottles. I took a giant swig and poured some on my head. I felt much better. Now I could concentrate on the battle again. I would not let Magmar hit Mist with a Thunderpunch.
"Mist, dodge and use Water Gun." Mist jumped out of the way of a Thunderpunch and shot a jet of water at Magmar's back. The attack did critical damage, and Magmar fell to the floor. It slowly tried to get up, but I took this as a chance to catch Magmar. "Ultra Ball, go!" I threw the ball at Magmar, which enveloped it in red light and absorbed it. The ball dropped to the ground, shook several times, and stopped. A satisfying "ding" came to my ears and I picked up the Pokeball and stored it in my backpack.
I looked up at the rest of the fire Pokemon. "So, are you going to be bothering anyone now?" Every one of them shook their head. "Good." I pulled out the radio as I exited the cavern and turned it on. "I'm ready to be picked up now." "Ok, I'll be in there soon. How did everything go?" "Everything went fine. I'll see you." I walked on for 20 minutes before I heard the guard coming, and I hopped in the truck once he got to me. "Let's get out of here." It took around 30 minutes for us to exit the cave, but I went straight down into town and went to the hospital, where I found the elderly ladies.
"The guard told me to come tell you that I've solved the hot spring problem." I told the ladies. They were grateful. "Why thank you sonnie. I don't know what I'd do without those hot springs. Why don't you take these bars of soap; one for you and one for your favorite Pokemon. Those hot springs make a nice bath." "Thank you. I'm sure they do."
I went straight to the hot springs after that, and when I stepped in, it felt great. I don't know how I was able to get out of there and come back to HQ, but here I am.
