I have this big presentation I have to do tomorrow.. damnit. Then my break starts, whoohoo.

Now I watch the Red Sox kick some major Yankee a** today because I got to go the game, left school early and everything. Red Sox win 8-1, yup.. plus on last Wensday I think they beat the Yanks 7-3. Many of the Sox players did very well Wakefield did great today, Belli got a homer, and Trot was awesome. Plus the whole banners was just wondeful seeing the banners getting unvieled especially the 2004 World Series Championships almost brought tears to my eyes.

It was also great to see Boston sports legends such as NHL legend, Bobby Orr eek eek eek eek eek thats what it was like to see him in person! I didn't meet him but I saw him pretty close!! it was AWESOME and it was real nice to see Tedy Bruschi. But Bobby Orr.... wow!!!

And I'm happy that Schilling may be starting on Wensday.

It was a great game, Ace. Probably one that I will always remember.

Now if anyone wants to know why I cannot stand the 86' World Series, I was at the World Series with my dad. I was only three back in 1986 but I understood the game pretty well.

Game 6 was horrible! my father nearly cried at Fenway when we were at the game. The fact is that the whole scenario NEVER come down to Buckner! Schiraldi got those first two outs and then GAGGED! Plus after that pitch by Stanley got by Gedman should of been caught or blocked in my opinion. I STILL can't watch the 10th inning or any of it after... it's just too depressing and I get very, very, extreamly PISSED OFF!

I know what you mean Dean. We were so close especially during the 4-2 win in Game 5, then the 5-3 inning lead as Wade Boggs doubled and Marty singled him home.

Sox game tonight@7:00PM.

Not gonna miss the game of course. Now I'm getting really mad since I hate talking about the 86' WS... so how did the Pack do in the game against Portland. I know the game is from awhile ago.. but how were things?

The game was awesome I got to go to it. It was a good game for the Pack since they got to rally from a 2-1 deficit in the third period to win the game in overtime. Lots of good goaltending, and some decent hitting and a few scraps there. Here is the carnage:

Trevor Gillies (Wolfpack) vs. Garret Stroshein (Portland)

As soon as Hartford takes the 1-0 lead against Portland. Gillies skates to Jeff Paul where he cross checks him and waits for a fight as the linesmen get in between those two. Now Jeff Paul didn't fight only because I don't think he can. So then Stroshein skates around the ref and him and the ref get a go at it. Fight wasn't much but they both go into bear hugging. Gillies gets Stroshein's helmet off and landed maybe two shots to his head at this point and it was wrestling the whole fight after. Sorta a crappy fight! I must say.

Gillies then gets a 2 minute x-checking penalty and personally he seemed pretty stupid to go out of his way to start a fight especially after Hartford got the goal. Portland ended it up going 2-1 after this penalty killed the momentum. Now I'm a pretty big fan of Giroux but he acted with unsportsmanship like right after the penalty since he was trying to get Trent Witfield.

Chad Wiseman (Wolfpack) vs. Jakub Cutta (Portland)

These two grab each other at the side of the crease and aggravate each other until both are willing to drop their gloves. Wiseman probably wouldn't have but Cutta was pratically pulling his hair (not literally). They start off in a bear hug fight which makes it a very crappy fight. After some tugging, Wiseman manages to get his right hand free so he gives Cutta some half a dozen uppercuts while Cutta was bending over. After this they tie up and Wiseman gets the win. I've never seen him throw those kinds of punches, Dean but let me tell you this the camera man got some pretty good shots of Wiseman grinning in the penalty box.
