Mission 32-Oak vs. The Tricky Pickpocket
It is said that Prof. Oak is here in Hoenn your mission is to go and steal 50 pokedexs from him! But watch out he has guards… (you will fight 3 guards)

Pokemon:
Tailow
Surskit
Aron

Funds upon completion:
300
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Pass, though the battles are still a little too much to your favor. A Torchic taking out a full HP Electrode? Electrode, who should have gone first(As Electrode is the third fastest Pokémon in the fame, only being beaten by three of the Deoxys forms and Ninjask.) I'm not asking to know the stats of every single Pokémon, but don't be beating a Pokémon that should be 10 + levels above yours and be giving your self a ton of advantages. (Thunderbolt = Flamethrower > Spark.) NPCs may not be the smartest people around, but they know their type charts and will use the best moves at their disposal. If you could improve upon your battles so I don't feel like your being cheap, then you'll start getting rank ups. Keep the Tailow and the 300PD.

Another mission for Brian to grade razz

Mission 25- Big Bad Bud Catchers
Poachers are in Petalburg Woods, catching poor pokemon in nets and cages. Your job: STOP ‘EM! (you will face 5 poachers)

Pokemon you may encounter:
Wurmple
Shroomish
Slakoth

Money: 900
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I’m watching the news, not really paying attention, when I hear a call for help. I start paying attention, and I see that poachers are catching pokemon in cages in the Petalburg Woods. I run out of the room and set off on my mission. When I arrive at the Petalburg Woods, I see that there are only a couple of pokemon left in the forest. I look around for the poachers for about 20 minutes before I see one. I run over to him and send out Trapinch. He sends out Shroomish, and tells it to use sweet scent.

His attack misses, and I tell Trapinch to use earthquake. The whole forest shakes, but the attack hits Shroomish, but doesn’t KO it. Shroomish uses tackle and hits, doing a little bit of damage. I tell Trapinch to use earthquake again, and it hits, KOing Shroomish.

The first poacher runs away. I look around for more poachers. The first poacher comes back, leading two others. One sends out Slakoth and the other sends out Silcoon, so I send out Electrike and Trapinch. The second poacher tells Slakoth to use tackle on Trapinch. It KOs Trapinch. I send out Vulpix. The third poacher tells Silcoon to use tackle on Vulpix. Vulpix dodges it, too fast for Silcoon. I tell Vulpix to use quick attack and Electrike to use Thunder Wave. Electrike hits first, allowing Vulpix to hit Slakoth head on. Slakoth faints. Silcoon attacks Electrike with tackle, but Electrike dodges it. I tell Electrike to use Thunder Wave again, and Vulpix to use Body Slam. Both hit, and Silcoon faints. All three poachers drop their cages and run out of the woods.

I walk along, looking for the next two poachers. I look around for about 45 minutes before I find the next one with a Wurmple in one cage, and a Slakoth in the other. He doesn’t notice me until I’m about 10 feet away from him. He looks up when he hears my feet crackling in the grass, and drops his cage. He pulls two Pokeballs from his belt and sends out a Buetifly and a Shroomish. I use my Duskull and my Tailow.

I tell Tailow to use wing attack on Shroomish. It misses and he tells his Shroomish to use tackle on Duskull, not realizing it doesn’t affect it. Shroomish zooms right through Duskull and into a tree, knocking itself out. Buetifly uses silver wind on my Tailow, and it blows it away. I tell Tailow to attack with peck, and it does. The peck winds Tailow afterwards, and not fast enough to avoid the oncoming tackle, it is hit by a very fast Beautifly.

I tell Duskull to use night shade, and it hits, sending Beautifly into chaos. It flies around wildly, and eventually crashes into a tree, confusing itself. When Beautifly recovers from confusion, it uses gust on Duskull. The attack sends Duskull flying into a tree, and takes it out. I tell Tailow to use wing attack again, and it hits Beautifly and sends it flying into its trainer. The poacher runs out of the woods, leaving his cages behind.

I unlock the cages and find a Wurmple in one, and a Slakoth in the other. I let them go, but the Slakoth looks like it’s angry. It growls at me and I get the feeling it wants to battle me.

I send out my Torchic and Slakoth steps up to battle. I tell Torchic to use ember, which hits Slakoth and makes it angrier. Slakoth then uses tackle on Torchic, and it hits, making Torchic angry.

I tell Torchic to use peck, but Slakoth dodges it. Slakoth then uses focus punch, and it hits Torchic, sending it flying backwards. I then tell Torchic to use headbutt, and it does, sending Slakoth hurling across the forest.

Taking advantage of the moment, I pull a Pokeball from my belt. I throw it Slakoth, and it disappears inside it.

Shake, shake, shake.
Shake, shake, shake.
Shake, shake, shake.
Ding!

I catch Slakoth and return my new Pokemon to my belt.

I look around for the last poacher, finding him about 1 hour later. I send out my Carvanha, and he still doesn’t hear me. He turns around near the edge of the forest, and finally seeing me, sends out a Poochyena.

He tells Poochyena to use tackle, and it hits Carvanha, doing some damage. I tell Carvanha to use tackle, and it hits Poochyena, sending it flying backwards. I tell Carvanha to do it again, and it hits, sending Poochyena flying backwards into a tree, and Poochyena slumps to the ground, out of the fight.

The poacher sends out Dustox now, and tells it to use wing attack. It hits Carvanha, and does a good amount of damage. I tell Carvanha to use Bubblebeam, and it does, hitting Dustox and sending it spiraling. I tell Carvanha to do it again, but prepared for it this time, it dodges the attack. He then tells Dustox to use string shot and then tackle. It hits with both, knocking Carvanha out.

I then send out my Poochyena, and tell it to use tackle. Convinced I can’t reach him, Dustox doesn’t even try to avoid it. When it hits Dustox, his trainer is bewildered.

Knowing that he’s going to lose either way, he drops his cages and runs. I call the police and tell them that there were poachers in the woods, and that I cleared out 5 of them, but there might be more.

I walk out of the woods, only to be hit by a very bright sun. I cover my eyes with my hand and start walking back to HQ.

Grateful that I took care of the poachers, the townspeople congratulate me. One woman asks me if I wanted her Wurmple.

I refuse the offer, and head off to HQ to get some rest.

Mission: COMPLETE!

Probably my longest mission yet, it took up 3 pages on Word razz

Sinji looked at all the new missions that were being completed and then noticed the two that were completed by Tony and siad, "ahhhh Tony something tells me you might not get the best reviews on your missions. I have been in this team for a little while now and know a good mission when I see one. No offense I personally feel that your battle is really short and have no interesting rp info leading up or after the battles."

Sinji scratches the back of his head feeling a little guilty for being so brutally honest with the newcomer and then said, "I am sorry for sounding mean if you would like some tips I will gladly help also there is a really helpful example mission right in the mission thread for you to look at."

I definately have to agree with Sinji. You need to add a bit more to your stories and battles. There's more than just randomly happening to find a Pokemon or finding it instantly. For Brian to pass these for you, you need to add more content.

Sinji's right. Those missions are too short. They will probably fail, and you will have to redo them, so better to start now.

I'm just trying to help you so you can pass your missions instead of fail them.

Finally I did a mission I hope you enjoy it...

MISSION- Safari Cheaters
The Safari Zone is having a contest to see who can catch a Pinsir first. Some cheaters are using their own Pinsir to try to win the contest. You must stop them. (You will fight 3 cheaters, each with 1 Pinsir and 1 Heracross)

Pok魯n:
The Pinsir that you caught

Funds:
2000-3000
Sinji sat on the couch completely bored with his day. True being an aqua member was always a constant battle against evil and was very fun, there were always those days however. Today was one of those days; one of the very boring days where all Sinji did was sit on the couch. That is until Sinji noticed an interesting show on the TV. It was a commercial for the Safari Zone contest that was held there every couple of weeks. Within minutes of the broadcast Sinji noticed one of the admins put something up on the bulletin board. Sinji made his way over and read the note aloud to himself, “In order to show how good we are we are requesting that members compete in the Safari Zone contest to show our skills.” Sinji smiled as he ran to his room and prepared his things as well as his pokemon. When Sinji was ready, he made his way out of the HQ and called out his Pidgeot. He then jumped on his pokemon and took off towards the safari zone excited for his new mission.

He arrived only a few hours after his takeoff and landed right next to the safari zone. As he stepped in, he noticed a bunch of other people who were also planning on participating. A safari zone official stepped forward and began to explain the rules of the contest to him and his fellow competition. After the rules were explained, the doors were open and they were all off. Sinji immediately began running to the areas were there was the least amount of people and tall grass. He was certain that he had a better chance of finding a pinsir where it would be easier for them to hide. After what seemed like hours and many, pinsirs (as well as other pokemon) coming and escaping Sinji began to loose hope. That is until a strange pinsir seemed to crawl up on the unsuspecting Aqua Member. Sinji turned around sharply in pure shock and confusion that a pinsir would come up to him, but he didn’t waste his chance. Immediately Sinji began by throwing a piece of bait in hopes that it would stop to eat. To Sinji’s luck and credit, the pokemon began to nibble on the sides of the food he had thrown. Sinji thought for a moment looking at the safari ball at his side deciding whether to throw it or wait a little longer. Sinji remembering that pokemon were easier caught when they have been injured decided to throw a rock instead. Thanks to good aim and perfect timing, Sinji hit it square on the head. The pinsir neither charged at him nor ran away; instead, it merely just stared deeply into Sinji’s eyes as if to scare him away or to figure out Sinji’s true intentions. Sinji didn’t back down to the glaring pokemon at all and replied to the stare by throwing another piece of bait in hopes that the pinsir would take his mind off of him and back to the food. This then in turn created a cycle, with Sinji throwing a piece of bait and then throwing a rock at the pinsir. Sinji felt like he had been keeping up this little game with pinsir for what seemed like hours and that the contest would be over at any second with him having no pokemon at all. After throwing what seemed like his tenth or eleventh time of throwing a rock at the pinsir he suddenly felt like it was time for him to attempt to capture it. Sinji pulled out one of the many safari balls that he had been given from his bag and began to take aim.

When Sinji felt he had perfectly sized up the pinsir and had him within his sights he threw the pokeball. The safari ball hit the pinsir dead and immediately opened up trapping the pinsir within the pokeball. The safari ball shook for a few moments even scaring Sinji to the point where he thought the pinsir might escape and run away. Thankfully and luckily for Sinji it did not come to that and the ball quickly quieted down leaving Sinji standing there smiling in triumph. Sinji walked over to the safari ball that he had used to capture the large pinsir in and began to make his way back to the center to wait until the time ended. Along his walk back to the center, though he overheard three of the fellow contestants whispering in a small clearing away from everyone else.

Normally Sinji would pay no mind to such things and brush them off as just some friends talking, but he couldn’t help but overhear it when one said that they would win for sure. Sinji’s curiosity got the better of him and he couldn’t help but walk over to the group expecting to see some gigantic pinsir that the man probably caught. To Sinji’s anger and dismay, he overheard them talk about how they would use pinsirs purchased at some store before they got there to win the contestant. Sinji would not have this not only would he fail his mission because of these punks, but also it would hurt his pride as an aqua member to allow some lowlife cheaters to take the prize unfairly. Sinji boldly stepped out in front of the trio utterly surprising them and putting them on guard. They all stared at Sinji until one of them had enough courage to step forward and ask, “Hey kid did you hear what we were talking about?” Sinji only stared daggers at the man, which from the reaction Sinji got from the group made him, think they got their answer. The men immediately reached to their belts pulling out a pokeball each and calling out their pokemon. The leader of the group, the one who probably came up with the plan, stepped back and allowed his cohorts to take the lead and fight Sinji first. The punk on the right who Sinji overheard was called Keo called out a heracross while the other one who Sinji did not know the name of called out a pinsir. Sinji merely laughed as he said, “You fools you think you have me beat, but you have no clue who you are messing with! Go charizard and pidgeot!”

With the last of his henchmen passed out on the ground the third cheater who they called ‘boss’ stepped up to Sinji both shaking in fear and anger. The man didn’t offer any words to Sinji, only reached to his belt and took out two pokeballs. The man threw the balls in the air releasing a pinsir and a heracross that looked as if it had been through many battles. The man then gave an evil smirk in Sinji’s direction and pointed to Sinji’s pokemon. That was all the recognition his pokemon needed and they immediately started marching towards him and his two pokemon with the clear intent to deal with them. Sinji only laugh and nodded to his two pokemon who had been out on the field still. Both pokemon quickly began to march towards the man’s two pokemon with the intent to have a fun battle.

P3: Rock Smash
P: 51-3

Me: Checkmate friend…
C: Inactive this turn due to Blast Burn.
P: Quick Attack
P3: Faints (Boss slumps to one knee as if crying)

Sinji smiled as the last pokemon fainted and he called back his own pokemon. Sinji slowly began to walk towards the boss in order to try to convince him to just turn themselves in, but the boss wouldn’t accept the loss. Before Sinji could get to close the boss leaped up from his kneeling position holding a taser in his hand. Sinji slowly backed up honestly scared for a little bit that the fight might result in a real fight. Lucky for Sinji, he was rescued (or should he say rescued from being disqualified for hurting contestants) by the local police force. Officer Jenny walked out from behind one of the trees with fellow policeman and surrounded the three cheaters. Jenny approached the boss and said, “Ron Gio you have been found guilty for stealing pokemon and attempting to cheat in this contest and then eventually steal all the contestant’s pokemon…how do you plea?” The boss, now known to Sinji as Gio only looked around as if searching for some way of escape before finally putting his hands up to Jenny so that he could be cuffed. The others too were hauled away leaving Sinji and Jenny alone. Luckily, Sinji was not on any wanted lists and Jenny made sure to mention the fact that she would let the fact slide that he was an aqua member because he helped take out the bad guys. With that, Sinji felt the day was truly complete specially after the contest was over and he was announced the top winner. As Sinji flew back on his pidgeot towards home, he silently wondered to himself how many new members were swayed by the show of skill he gave today. He couldn’t help, but smile in a smug sense daydreaming of having thousands of new members all because of him. (FIN)
