[ Amy : Shipwreck Cove : Red Rose -> Docks ]
The night, as opposed to last night, was completely dreamless for Amy. Her head hit the pillow and she was asleep, which was a rare thing for her.
It seemed quiet this morning. She rose, headed down the halls of the ship, looked around a bit and noticed most of the Earthlings were missing.
Leaving the ship, daylight revealed lots of broken s**t. Shipwreck Cove wasn't a tidy place. Down by the docks her fellow Earthlings were swimming. She hardly knew most of them, but took comfort that John from Cleveland was there. She stood by the edge of the water. God, that looked cold...

[John.:Shipwreck Cove:.Docks]
"Amy dear!" he spouted, his voice cracking. "Come and join me! It's a good way to wake up it is and these dresspheres make it so you're nice and warm!"
John was covered in a sort of speedo diving suit, perfect for keeping one warm but easy enough to swim in as well.

[Noelle .:. Prote ~ Shipwreck Cove ~ Docks]
Noelle continued to hold Bobbi to comfort her, and would keep doing so until Bobbi felt she had calmed enough. She scooped water with a hand and poured it on her back in attempts to soothe her. Kyle's apology helped Bobbi's mood and she hoped to help it a little more.
"You're worse than Indiana Jones," the agromancer chuckled lightly, hearing John in the background. "C'mon, let's go flirt with John."
Prote looked to Sora, turning in a circle to follow his swimming pattern. "I have never been in water before," he admitted, "I was unaware that this would happen. Perhaps if I . . ."
Prote phased to see what might happen, his pale form becoming translucent. As he looked down he noticed himself sinking into the water. As soon as the water reached his shoulder level he returned to normal, remaining in the water as if he were still merely standing on it.
"I suppose this will do."

[Anthony ~.~ Shipwreck Cove ~.~ Docks]
"Nah...," Anthony began. "I think I'd do much better up here than I would down there." He stomped his foot on the ground a couple of times. "It's solid up here."
Noelle quickly swam off to soothe Bobbi. He didn't see everything, but apparently it had to do with them monkey fighting snakes in this Monday through Friday ocean. Heh... Snakes on a Plane. Lulz...
More Earthlings came. Some jumped in, others tested the water.
The knight's attention shifted to Jenny. "You guys be careful down there. Keep us posted so we know you're not dead, or whatever."

[ Sora : Caribbean : Shipwreck Cove Docks ]
There was a bit of a commotion going on, but Sora didn't pay any attention; it didn't really concern him, and they'd seemed to have settled it out. What was interesting, though, was how Prote controlled where he was.
"Neat," he said, nodding as though he were mildly impressed. Looking at how everyone was gathered, he figured he might as well give the signal.
"Alright, let's head on down," Sora announced loud enough to get everyone's attention; even to be heard by Amy, if she decided to come along. "Gotta make sure everything's set."
Without another word, he flopped backwards into the water, diving and twisting himself as he began to swim toward the Cove exit. Seymour and Yuffie wordlessly followed, Yuffie seemingly keeping ahead of Seymour with a smug look on her face.

[Jenny :: Shipwreck Cove :: Docks]
"As solid as it is, I hope you don't mind the never-ending rocking of the ships in turbulent waters. Hold your breakfast in," Jenny joked before diverting her attention to the others. She felt bad for the archer, goodness knows she'd act the same should any spider be walking across the surface of the water. The mage smiled as Noelle comforted Bobbi; it was a good thing they had each other... they only had each other...
Jenny turned back to Anthony as he spoke again and smiled reassuringly. "Will do, you sure you don't want to come with?" The time mage asked as she heard Sora call for the departure; she glanced back as the keyblader dove into the waters before glancing to Anthony. "You be careful too!"
That said, Jenny took a deep breath before back-flipping into the waters before remembering that she could breathe in water as easily as she could breathe on land. Her tail shimmered colors of blue and purple before finally disappearing beneath the waves. Once under water, she waited for Bobbi, Noelle and the others to join her.

{Bobbi .:. Shipwreck Cove .:. Docks}
Bobbi snorted at Noelle's quip, and couldn't help grinning. This wasn't the first time she'd been compared to Indi (the first time was by her mom), and the prospect of flirting with John was hilarious to the Archer, considering she had absolutely no idea how to intentionally flirt without making it corny, cheesy, or both. Although, according to her friend Patricia, she flirted without even realizing it.
It had been awhile since she thought of her other friends, or her family, and it was their memory and the fact that they could have been lost with the Earth that helped her shake off the last of the panic attack. She pulled away from the Agromancer after a quick hug, and took a few deep breaths.
"I'll be okay now," she said with a smile for her friend. "Thanks. Sorry I've been freaking out about everything lately." She was about to say more when Sora called out and dove under, then gave Noelle a look that involved a raised eyebrow and amused smirk.
"Race you?" she asked, then dove under to follow Sora and the others without waiting for an answer.
{Demyx .:. Shipwreck Cove .:. Balconies}
Demyx had been woken up by the activities of the pirates, but he apparently hadn't been awakened at a decent time. When he went to the kitchen, there was only the thing that cooked there, and some food. He grabbed a few pancakes, popped a few sausage links in, added syrup, and rolled them up into something portable, began munching, and tried to find the kids. When he exited the Rose, he saw a lot of them down by the docks, right when they started diving under.
"Aw, man!" he groaned. "Figures I'd miss something. Hope it wasn't important..." The Melodious Nocturne leaned against the railing (after first testing to make sure it was stable), and watched the kids going under depart as he finished his second pig-in-a-blanket.

[Dawn : Shipwreck Cove : Docks]
Dawn sighed softly as she watched the others leave, including Bobbi. She prayed that everyone will return safely. Dawn soon turned to Kyle's snake summon. She smiled at him slightly and pat his head.
"You stay out of trouble, okay," she said to him, "And be safe."
With that she slowly lifted Midgardsomr off of her shoulder and placed him back to the water. Though she knew that he could simply be recalled back to his keeper, this felt right for her to do as a just cause thing. Dawn looked up and gave Kyle a reassuring smile as well, followed by a small wave. She turned to walk off to the Black Pearl. Her head down as her heart was still heavy, due to what happened and what was to come.

{Kyle : Shipwreck Cove : Docks}
Well, that would be one thing that would get filed in never do again under pain of death. Hopefully he wouldn't need to summon him in battle or anything. That would be...well, it would be a thing. Seeing as everyone was heading down, he looked over to see Dawn putting Midgardsormr into the water.
"And you as well. I'll see you after the battle." He said, fixing her with a stare before looking back to the water. As he was put down, he started to grow in length until he was several feet long again, then slowly started to wind towards Kyle. He raised his tail in a small wave as he saw Kyle wave towards Dawn as well. Then he started to vanish and was gone.
"If you're coming, don't be too late slowpokes." He said with a smile at John and Amy. "If not, then good luck Cleveland-brother and Amy. Stay as safe as you can." Then he dove under, flopping a bit before he got the hang of it. It was strange, being able to see underwater and breathe.

Sayrike::Shipwreck Cove::Balconies-->water What little of the morning light that had worked its way into the cove, reflecting off of the gently undulating waves or worming through the cracks in the rocks and beams above, brought with it the blanket of warmth from the sun and the smell of the open ocean. Sayrike was content to lean against the railing, having a private moment to herself. The conversation of the others were like a passing breeze. Some part of her mind registered their activities, but for the most part she was simply savoring this world above the unknown depths of the ocean. There was something immensely freeing when she was out in the open water-- above the water. Beneath, it felt...like a room, only the walls were liquid and their thickness was nearly infinite. It was a weird sensation. But, at the same time, her curiosity was so much stronger than the uncomfortableness and the fear. That was why she was going below. If she always stayed where it was safe and familiar, she was never going to grow. To throw oneself into unknown... That's the fun part in life!As people began jumping into the water, Sayrike took one last look around. What would change in the next few hours? Who would still be here, and who would have perished? What new scars would they bear, both internally and externally? Would she still even be...alive? Death was the final question, the final adventure, and she did not fear it. But, at the same time, it seemed like there was always something new on this side of life, and Sayrike didn't feel like she was finished exploring here yet. She didn't want to die. Death was not at the forefront of her mind, however. As before any major upcoming event, Sayrike found her thinking about, well, nothing. Her brain shut down, but her senses heightened, as if to grasp, imprint, and preserve the physical world around her, like a tangible snapshot. Things were not going to be the same before the afternoon was over, and she wanted to remember this moment of calm and tension. The dichotomy and balance between the two was both beautiful and delicate, like that instant when one is teetering on the edge of the pool and gravity has not yet decided which way you are going to go. It was an instant of destiny, of decision, and of infinite possibility. Reluctantly, Sayrike pushed herself off the rail and made her way down to the water. Passing by Anthony, Sayrike felt like she should say something, but the only things that came to mind were corny lines. Giving up all hope of uttering something witty, she said the stupidest thing of all-- "Good luck out there today. Make Ferris proud." Did that even make sense? Dunno, but I had to throw something in there to reference yesterday. She sent a follow up over the charms to him. <> She gave a parting wave and a small smile. Seeing that Dawn was staying too, Sayrike felt like she should extend an olive branch to make up for last night. "Dawn!" she called out as she headed toward the edge of the docks, "Thanks again for yesterday! Your wind worked wonders! You'd better be there when we get back to patch me up again!" Sayrike hoped that Dawn recalled their first meeting after falling out of the tree. Well, it had only been about 24 hours ago, so she should have--and yet the previous day felt like a year. With a final salute, Sayrike dove into the water. Her legs, instead of fusing together, split off into 8 branches, and she once again resumed the octopus form she had adopted during her brief time in the water after going overboard. The colors on each of her tentacles ( Oh my gosh, I have to call them tentacles, don't I? Creepy as sh*t. Maybe I'll just think of them as arms or legs...oh my gosh, it's interchangeable. I'm going to stop thinking about this now) shifted and shimmered like mother-of-pearl, though one could see hints of blue and gold flash past. Under the blue and green ocean, it made her rather hard to distinguish from the rest of the water unless the light caught the skin (especially compared to the more flamboyant colors the others were sporting on their tails), though above water the shifting white would stand out. Getting used to flexing and maneuvering each of her eight...appendages, Sayrike took a steadied breath and piped up, "Ready whenever you guys are."

[[Louis : Shipwreck Cove : Just Above The Docks]] [[Cue: Dead Sea]] Louis watched from a skyline veiw above the docks, face frozen in a neutral smile, waving slowly to those in the water, wishing them a safe trip from a distance. There was a melencholy about him, a sadness characteristic of his persona. Vacancy fell through his mask, he wasn't quite with the group, he was somewhere else far away. Soon, the ocean's waves would break crimson filled from above and below by the eager hands of the noble and wicked alike. He could see it, as he watched the others swim about enjoying their new-found water-wings, the water reflected the sun's light tainted by the overwhelming bloodlust in the air. Pirates all around nashing at the bit, pooling their emotions and desire for revenge into a unified drive to kill. But the earthlings... there was a different air about them, most anyway. They were like a blue stain on a red cloth, eye sores sticking out for all to see. Their desire for death simply wasn't there, perfectly contrast to the pirates looming around the rest of the docks. Many glanced at them timidly, the horrific myths of mermaids scratching the back of their minds. Soon they'd be gone and this piece of the world would finally be dominated by these murderous emotions. Soon, everything would fall into place.

John smiled to Kyle and replied, "I'm actually staying here bud... but yeah, please keep safe. I really like having two legs though."
John laughed as he splashed over to Kyle. "Having a ground beneath my feet suits me anyway. I never was one for the water anyways. Flying makes me more interested I guess! But that's irrelevant."

[Noelle .:. Prote ~ Shipwreck Cove ~ Docks]
Noelle smiled at Bobbi as she swam off. She would take her up on that race as soon as she was ready, she wanted to say goodbye first. Beating her tail she swam back to the dock.
"Well, we're off I guess," the agromancer said to John, Amy, and Anthony, "Stay safe, okay guys?"
She gave them the bravest smile she could muster, trying to hide her fear and angst. She may not have known the three for very long, but she felt close to them regardless. Turning away, Noelle sank down into the water and swam after Bobbi.
Prote phased again, sinking down into the water. As soon as he was submerged he moved his feet to start walking as normal. Water was a peculiar thing.

[ Amy : Shipwreck Cove : Docks ]
"Stay safe," Amy replied to Noelle, and everyone in general. She wasn't going to go. It looked like John wasn't going to go, either; she hesitated on whether or not to join him, and decided to take his word for it that her dressphere would magically protect her from the chill of the water. Jumping in, her outfit changed into that of a one piece black swimming suit, identical to the one she had on at Hawaii's beach. The water wasn't too bad at all!

[ Narration ] The group made their way to Atlantica, with Sora pointing out the massive region of darkness in the distance as they traveled. To those that weren't already aware, if they were willing, Sora projected the image of what they had seen the night before-- though he left out the message from Ajora. When they arrived to the underwater kingdom, they found that it wasn't quite so vibrant as their childhood might have made them believe. Overnight, the city had been evacuated by anyone who didn't wish to fight-- which turned out to be a surprising minority. Most of the undersea citizens, even those not actually from Atlantica, had rallied to the cause, with various fish, octopi, and other creatures donning what shell-like armor they could fit in and wielding what weapons they could hold. They would have met up with Kyla, Joe, and Matthew fairly quickly, but Kyle remained out of the way. Kyla would have told any who asked that he begged not to be disturbed right now, though if they sent a message via the Charms, he would respond; how long until someone demanded to see him was up to the person. There wasn't much to do at the time but get familiar with the surroundings, come up with plans for the battle, and help out around the kingdom as quickly as they could. Those who remained in Shipwreck Cove had some time to spare before the ships set sail. How they spent it was, of course, up to them, but the pirates and their Lords were busily preparing for the battle ahead, stocking their ships with cannons and gunpowder, making sure every ship had ample ammunition, and other tasks. Though not every ship was ready, the Pearl was about to set sail. The call for all hands to be on deck had been issued. A parley had been called between the opposing forces, and it was almost time to meet. The sun was just barely over the horizon now. The skies were perfectly clear, the weather was bright and windy. The air and seas, however, were rife with tension. There was little time left.
