If there aren't bullseyes everywhere, I'll be very disappointed.

I think this is the first time ever, where I don't really want a SINGLE item from a new RIG. The last few have been rather lacking, but at least there were a few items I wanted (even though they were so expensive, I didn't bother). I know people are going to freak out over the "gun to the head" item, even though it has hearts coming out of the gun barrel, it may not have been the best choice of things to make. sweatdrop
They need to make a damn "50's themed" Rig or something else good, because I'm starting to just not care. None of the currently evolving EI's are interesting me either.

All I have to say about the new RIG is this. I bet you a dollar that Charlemagne's Heart is based on Jean-Paul Marat, the rock star of the revolution.

I'm not personally offended by the item. I'm just saying that I'm sure a chunk of people WILL raise a fuss. You know how they are.
As for Gaia, I basically post here, play with my avatar and do occasional booty grabbing. It used to be that the first thing I did when I got online was go to Gaia. I'd stay there a LOT of the day, modding or whatnot. Now, I might log on later in the day, poke a bit and leave.

Well if it's Marat, as I think it is, it's based on a historical event. When Marat was elected to the National Convention (the ruling government once they deposed the king), someone accused him during an assembly of wanting a dictatorship, of not really loving France and just wanting power. His was response was to pull out his pistol, point it to his head and threaten to blow his own brains out before all assembled if the man didn't withdraw his remark.

THe people in GCD seem to think it's based on "Persona 3", whatever that is.

based on the other items, I'd agree with Selina. I get the impression it's historical in nature smile

Who knows?
Linda, did you have a good time at the game? How was it?

It was very fun! It had a very dramatic ending, with the designated hitter hitting a two-run homer to win the game in the 10th inning. I have pictures but since I'm still on the road I'm not at my home comp and my laptop doesn't have photo editing software on it yet.

Pfft. Because characters point guns at their heads. That's a tenuous link. Might as well say it's linked to John Wayne, 'cuz it's a gun.
I'm more willing to bet it's a bunch of France references wrapped up in one. Charlemagne was the founder of the French monarchy, Marat was the revolution's rock star, and it's twice linked to the revolution because one of the lines of the description is from from Les Misérables.

Out of the three of us (my 14 year old sister, my 29 year old sister and me), I am officially the only one not into Twilight. My older sister is also addicted to True Blood as is my brother in law. She takes my 10 year old niece to Twilight movies. Hell, why don't they get their toddler too and cuddle around the TV watching True blood/softcore porn with vampires?
When I try to argue how the writing is bad in Twilight and how the True Blood books are NOTHING like the shows, they all look at me like I'm just the "grumpy old lady", but yet comic books are seen as "lame" to them. Well, at least I don't get off on fantasies involving myself and superheroes like some of these 'tards do with Twilight and vampires.
Just had to vent. gah.

School started and I have the same teacher for my Photography classes (well all but History). It was fun and I wanted to play with all of the equipment sooo bad that I had to control myself. Strangely enough, my classmates inability to avoid stepping on my sandled feet helped me to behave.
The wildly dressed and chaotic personality individuals seemed to have gravitated towards me during class. Though I'm still trying to figure out if their random hyper talks about boys and men will make me wanna hit my head against the wall. Though the girls are awesome in their own right, I really don't want to hear about them checking out random dudes every 5 minutes. Ohhh to be around 18 year olds again.
