[Jenny :: Shipwreck Cove :: Docks]
"No, probably not," Jenny replied cheerfully as she documented the moment into her memory. Hanging out with her friends, the people she had come to love over the past few days. A rare event of smiles that clung amongst times of hardship. What was waiting for them down below, she couldn't say, but she had them and at that precise moment... it was more than enough. Jenny even smiled as Kyle came to join them in the waters.
Then when the spinning stopped, the mage followed Noelle's gaze to Anthony and her own brow furrowed. Here she was, just reminiscing about their laughter and joy and there was Anthony, looking incredibly... sour. He was cheerful the day before, what could have happened? "Man period?" Jenny whispered to the agromancer as she unhooked her arms and swam closer to the docks. There, she rested her hands against the damp wood and peered up at the warrior, awaiting his answer; not waiting to possibly add to his ire by reiterating Noelle's question of concern.

[Prote ~ Shipwreck Cove ~ Docks]
Prote made his way to the docks, aware of the group split and deciding to go where he would likely be a little more useful. Up until then he had been giving the earthlings their space, trying not to intrude. They had a rough day previously, and he was aware that his presence was unnerving, especially to one particular member, Joe. Noelle was the only person of the group who had made an attempt at understanding his nature and didn't seem to harbor any ill feeling toward him. Logically none of them really should have, but he knew that he could be perceived in certain ways so he let them be. However, it was now time for interaction--they had to leave.
The Phantom made his way to the end of the dock, fully charged and hoping to be of some help. Some of the others had already gotten into the water. Prote was curious. He had never been in water before. Not knowing what to expect he took a step off the dock . . . and didn't sink. Both feet stayed atop the water, and even walking around didn't change his predicament. His eyes caught Noelle giving him a puzzled, but amused, look.
"Hmm . . ."

[ Sora : Caribbean : Shipwreck Cove Docks ]
Sora smiled as everyone began to join in, and after a quick observation, couldn't help but blush. Almost all of his current companions were women.
Women with a lot of bare upper body skin.
Maaaan I miss Kairi.
When Prote popped in, Sora swam over. Though others might have been somewhat at a distance from the Geist, Sora didn't really feel one way or the other. He'd helped him, hadn't he? Just like Axel had helped out back a few years ago-- and even now.
Just because you're different doesn't mean you're evil.
"Care to join us for a swim," Sora asked, joking as he swam around Prote, who managed to literally walk on water. "Or are you just gonna show off?"

[Dawn : Shipwreck Cove : Docks]
"Uh huh," Dawn said at Bobbi with a grin of her own, "Well, just remember if you come back with so much of a scratch, there will be a snake in your bed. Bigger the injury the bigger the snake will be. I am sure Midgardsomr would love to nurse you back to health"~

{Bobbi .:. Shipwreck Cove .:. Docks}
"I know, right?" Bobbi laughed at Kyle. "I think the only reason I can do it is because I used to pretend I was a mermaid when I was little, and I kind of taught myself how to start to inhale underwater. Such a fight with my instincts to actually finish breathing, though!" She was a little hesitant to go back under until they were ready to head out, entirely because of the battle with her lungs while she was submerged.
"Midgawhozeewhatsit?" the Archer asked when Dawn threatened her with a snake. It took her a minute to figure out what Dawn was talking about, then she made the connection between part of the name, "Midgard," and the fact that Dawn was talking about snakes. "What does the Midgard Serpent have to do with anything?"

{Kyle : Shipwreck Cove : Docks
"I never tried to be a mermaid, but I did try to be a shark. If only I had learned transfiguration by that point." He said with a shake of his head. It definitely was a fight against the instincts. If the magic failed them when they were underwater...he shuddered at the thought.
Giving Dawn a sly smile, swam a few feet out of Bobbi's sight line and summoned out Midgardsormr. So she didn't know, huh? He felt a bit bad for what he was about to do, but Dawn had really left him with no choice. Well...he could just say something, but he figured Dawn was aiming for something different. Swim out in front of her and maybe brush up her side a bit. It's not like I've never been smacked before.
If I get smacked, we're going to have a problem. The serpent replied before sliding off his arm and into the water. He swam the short distance lazily, head almost next to Bobbi's side. Wait! Wait, say 'Ello Poppet to her! "...why? Oh." The relevant memory had popped into Kyle's head and he now knew why. Letting out something similar to a sigh, Midgardsormr brushed up against Bobbi for a few seconds and lazily continued on his way, turning his head back and spitting his tongue out, the words clearly heard despite the obvious lack of vocal cords. " 'Ello poppet...." He turned back towards the docks then, slithering up them, before continuing onto Dawn's leg, aiming to wrap around her shoulders. His long body was already shrinking and he was soon about a foot and a half long.

[Anthony ~.~ Shipwreck Cove ~.~ Docks]
Anthony was startled again, but this time the voice came from outside his head. He looked down at the water and saw Noelle. Jenny followed immediately after. He didn't want to lie, nor did he want to tell them the truth.
"Genetics," he replied. "You could take it up with my parents if you have a problem with my face."
He chuckled at his own joke. It wasn't that funny anyway.
The knight continued, "It's nothing. Just something I'd like to call a man period. Just a bit emotional. It'll go away eventually."
Well... he didn't TOTALLY lie... he just withheld information.
"But thanks for the concern. I didn't mean to be a Debbie Downer. I was hoping no one would notice me, but I didn't wanna stay up on the ship and not get a chance to say goodbye either."

[Dani :: Shipwreck Cove:: Balconies>>Docks]
Dani quietly moved onto the docks after taking quite a while not trying to panic or think at the moment. When she reached the docks she noticed that most of the group was already in and for a few moments just sat at the docks relaxing.
"Your worried," Leviathan noted to Dani "Why are you so worried?"
"I am just worried about the battle." Dani admitted to Leviathan. "There are too many things in my mind that could go wrong or that I might at some point have to fight alone. "
Breaking her connection to her summon she finally slid off of the docks and into the water, her bottom half taking the form of a koi fish again. She slowly swam over to where Kyle, Bobbi, and Dawn were only to notice a snake that reminded her of Kyle's summon on Dawn's shoulder.
"Do I have to bring Leviathan out to play as well?" Dani announced to the trio "He is technically a sea serpent you know?"

{Bobbi .:. Shipwreck Cove .:. Docks}
When she felt something brush by her and looked down, Bobbi's heart damned near stopped. Her breath caught in a painful squeak of pure terror, and every muscle froze as the serpent went by. She was so tense she was trembling, and only when the snake was safely out of touching and/or striking distance was she able to move again.
She bolted in the opposite direction from where the snake was going, and found a handy jut of rock to hide behind. When she turned around to face the group, she steadfastly avoided looking at Dawn or Kyle. Anyone who cared to look would see tears pouring down her face, and she was fighting for each breath still. She couldn't even get out the "that was cruel" she wanted to say, she was too busy failing to fight off a panic attack. This was so much worse than the time her brother had thrown a fake snake at her as a prank...
~:Just breathe, Bobbi,:~ Shiva said in what was probably the kindest tone the Archer had heard from her so far. ~:Calm down and breathe. It will be alright.:~

*That's easy for you to say! You're not afraid of the damn things! Oh, God, why'd he do that? He knows I'm afraid of snakes, we went over this in Hawaii! I'm not going to cry. I'm not going to cry--fish-kebabs, I'm crying.

[Dawn : Shipwreck Cove : Docks]
"He has everything to do with it. He is after all, a part of the tea-" Dawn said to Bobbi, but stopped mid sentence when she saw Kyle summon Midgardsomr.
She was frozen as she watched the snake swim by Bobbi. She could only watch the archer's reaction. Dawn immediately felt horrible for what just happened. What she meant as a joke between two long time friends just went completely wrong. She had no one to blame, but herself for this one. She was the one who brought up the snakes. Dawn would of hugged Bobbi, but she couldn't. Why should Bobbi accept it anyway.
"What did I do...?" Dawn whispered (Only Midgardsomr would of been able to hear) to herself as she felt her heart sinking deeper.
The dancer looked over at Midgardsomr, slowly. She lightly patted his head, it was more of a comfort to him than anything. He did nothing wrong, in her eyes.

[Noelle ~ Shipwreck Cove ~ Docks]
Noelle snickered as Anthony confirmed Jenny's proposition of cause. Man period. "Haha, Jenny, you were right! You should come down with us, Anthony! That way you won't have to say goodbye."
Bobbi's squeak of terror caught Noelle's attention and she looked in time to see a snake swimming away from her. That would explain her fear. The agromancer moved back as Bobbi swam past her to hide behind a rock. A look of concern and some disapproval took over her features as she glanced between Kyle and Dawn. She quickly turned and swam after Bobbi, discovering that she was crying.
"Oh, Bobbi!" She cooed, pulling the girl in for a hug. She was able to hear her labored breathing in her right ear. Noelle knew what that was from, she was all too familiar with it.
"Are you okay?" She said quietly in her ear, "Do you need something to calm you down?"

{Kyle : Shipwreck Cove : Docks}
All too fast their discussion about her snake phobia came back. With everything that happened yesterday, he'd completely forgotten. Of course she'd have a problem with his summon. It was like the king of goddamn snakes. He'd have the same reaction if Aragog was dropped in front of him. "F#@$ f#@$ f#@$" Kyle muttered to himself, torn between going after her and leaving her alone. This is why you only have three friends at home, Some voice inside of him whispered, you just keep screwing up. Have fun fixing this one. Decided, he turned and swam after her slowly, trying to think of what to say. What could you say after presenting somebody with a phobia? Lol, my b. No, he couldn't really think of anything. "Bobbi" He called softly, not going around to look at her directly. "Listen, I'm...I am so sorry. I was being an idiot. I completely forgot about your phobia after everything that happened yesterday." He said, shaking his head at his own stupidity. "If there's anything I can do...just name it." He finished, leaning against the rock. He'd barely registered that Noelle had already gotten to her and hadn't registered at all her look of disapproval. He was focused only on Bobbi.
Draped over Dawn's shoulder, Midgardsormr shook his head and let out a sigh. Just because Kyle had forgotten didn't mean he should have. He should have remembered and caught that. Well, what's done is done. "Now is most definitely not the best time Dani. Perhaps later, when the battle is won." He nodded towards her, then heard Dawn's soft question.
Feeling Dawn's hand, his head moved closer to hers, speaking in the same soft tones that she had used. "You're not at fault. It was the act of an idiot boy and his idiot summon." He said slowly, closing his eyes and laying his head down. He'd go back to Kyle soon, but for now...he would simply reflect.

{Bobbi .:. Shipwreck Cove .:. Docks}
When Noelle swam over to see if she was okay, Bobbi immediately latched onto the younger woman and buried her face in the blonde's shoulder. Just holding onto someone sympathetic was a big help, so when Noelle asked if she needed anything, Bobbi shook her head.
"I'll be okay," she said tightly. "This helps."
Then, when Kyle asked if there was anything he could do, she managed a near-hysterical chuckle and called out, "J-just don't do that again!" Between Noelle's and Shiva's sympathy, and Kyle's immediate apology, she was calming down much quicker than she would have normally.

[Dawn : Shipwreck Cove : Docks]
Dawn shook her head at Midgardsormr slowly before looking over at Bobbi. Who was already being comforted by Noelle. Dawn didn't even flinch when Noelle gave her a disapproving look. Automaticallyshe felt worse, and she knew she deserved it. She hung her head trying to hide her tears in the corner of her eyes with her hair. She wanted to comfort Bobbi as well. Tell her she was sorry, but could say nothing.

[John.:Shipwreck Cove:.-->Docks]
John took advantage of the short time between to make his way to the docks to find some lollygagging and physical activity occurring in the water. Immediately, he ran up to the edge of the dock and dove into the cool clear Caribbean waters.
"Different ocean, same cool feelin' am I right?" he laughed as he swam over to the edge of the Dock. He pulled himself back up quite easily and held himself up with his arms.
He shouted, "Comon ladies, the water's great ya know! It ain't every day we get a little break to enjoy the waters of the Caribbean right?"
