The boy looked at the ocean and the at his arms and legs. He frowned.
"Uhhh so Sammy, what are we gonna do when we get there?"

Sammy looked back at Memo. "Well, I guess we'll just go to Maylene and ask if we can train with her. I don't really know," she admitted.

x-cupids arrow-x Sammy nodded, angling Vixen in that direction. She hoped she would get just a bit stronger there. She glanced over at Mr. Dark. "You just don't have feelings, do ya?" she growled, and Vixen moved a bit to the other side. He stops talking, cutting himself off. Kyle pulls away from Vixen and slows down. Dark pulls a cigarette out of his pocket, lights it with Kyle's tail and takes a drag. Slowly the Charizard seems to fall behind.

Sammy knew she was being a bit harsh, but she didn't like people constantly mentioning water around her. She pointed ahead. "We're here," she concluded, and Vixen started to go downwards and look for a landing spot.

Memo looked down at Veilstone City and gave a sigh of relief for Sammy.
Hehe, come on guys...this'll be fun, let's not be all grumpy ok?"

Kyle swoops down into the city, the blast of air from his wings while landing knocks over a few pedestrians. Dark jumps off the Charizard's back. His his cigarette in his mouth he looks around.
"I think I'll go take a look around. I'm not really interested in hanging around the 3rd gym in Sinnoh."
He seems slightly depressed. He always gets reflective when he visits Whitney. She drags his past up too much.
He blows some smoke into the air and with a wave walks off with Kyle.

Sammy smiled at Memo. "You're right... Tag, you're it!" She grinned, tagging Memo than jumping off of Vixen (who was about 15 feet from the ground) and landing on the ground a bit wobbly. She began racing towards the gym. She waved to Mr. Dark, feeling bad for making him mad. "Are you sure? Come on, it'll be fun!" she assured.

The boy was caught off guard but wasnt about to lose.
"Hehehe, oh no you dont."
Memo jumped off as well, but not straight down. Instead he flipped foward trying to freeze the air around Samm's feet so he could tag her without any defiance.

"Nah, I don't need to hang with a bunch of lightweights." He grins forcing his usual overconfident tone.
"I've got some things on my mind anyway. A fighter with a clouded mind is only half as strong."
He chuckles softly before making his way deeper into town.
His Charizard screams for joy after being promised by his trainer to buy him supper.

Sammy jumped over the ice, feeling her feet numbing from the cold. She called back to Mr. Dark, "Alright, but don't wander too far! And whatever you do, DON'T talk to strangers!" she instructed, continuing to dash towards the gym.

Memo landed on a electrical wire and continued to run, his acrobatic skills have improved.

Sammy grinned, running inside of the gym. She looked around, waiting for Memo to get there. "Uhm, excuse me, is Maylene-sempai here?" she asked loudly.

Memo flipped down wires and buildeings to get to the gym. As he walked in he stood behind Sammy and was now a bit uncomfortable...there people were huge.
"Hehe, ok Sammy...lets try not to get ourselves hurt.'
The boy said as he took a quick bow.

Sammy, having finally located the gym leader, bowed and asked if they could train. She agreed, and Sammy turned to Memo. "Train with pokemon, or train with another person?" she asked, hoping they could train with hand-to-hand combat.

Dark is sitting in one of the Meteor craters enjoying some Chinese takeout with his Charizard.
"What do you think I should do Kyle...?"
"I dunno Dark. It's up to you."
Dark sighs after devouring a few egg roles.
" I don't get her. I'm still young, not even 20 and she wants to me stop training for a bit. Sure I'm probably Champion material... But that's just not my scene..."
