Des Voh Cale Darksun Ral Roke Cale Darksun Cale Darksun My goal is to never fight you on your terms. I'm fully versed in Steppe Warfare, my friend. It pretty much will be Yangis Tirr all over again. Only this time you got no magic. You better hope you can find a Zhuge Lian somewhere to save your bacon. sweatdrop I need to learn to stop gloating. Its counter productive to my future plans. And my goal would be to fight on your terms? ....yes? Hmm...fighting against horsemen is one thing, fighting against horse-bowmen is a complete other. we're more like pony-bowmen but you get the idea.

Nelowulf Cale Darksun Des Voh We can try to recruit Nelo as Zhuge Lian, but I think he'd more be into Cao Cao. http://lyricals.deviantart.com/art/zhang-he-58184629 Gah, starving.... Nelo probably is Cao Cao. If he joined then I would be in trouble. Its through his territory that my troops have to pass through to get to the rest of China. We have no supply lines, but if he cuts us off from our route back home, we'll have to redirect our efforts to kicking Yuan Shao so we can get at his section of the Wall. And I'll still have to cross Cao Cao's territory to attack Shu. Either that, or take the long way through Wu. Why would I be some former general turned bandit? You think I'm so inept that I'd have my entire dynasty be a joke, carved up by all my rival generals and by great landed family into their own satrapies without having some sort of concession that I stunk? If anything, call me Master Kong. Then be Zhuge Lian. We need a wizard.

Warlords are bandits of some sorts. But in the end, he was an abysmal failure as a ruler.

Keep me out of 220 CE chinese RPs. I may do better with the Tang Dynasty, but still.. I'll stick with Master Kong.

Cale Darksun Ral Roke Truthfully it isn't fair what your doing there though. The first true army to stop them was one trained to use the Mongols tactics against them. No it wasnt. It was the Mamluks, a people totally devoted to war. That and the Japanese were vicious opponents once they got it in their heads to work together. Other than that, the Mongols shitstomped everyone who got in their way using the same tactics they have used for over thousands of years. Fair enough. But then again it also proves my point as well. Most soldiers in China are rice farmers.

Most soldiers in China are rice farmers. Not necessarily true. The Yellow Turbans, the early armies of Lieu Bei, and most bandit armies at the time are rice farmers(as well as conscripts) but otherwise you still had decently trained men.

I don't really know, but I'd stick to an advising role rather than commanding in those times. Life expectancy was longer.

I'm actually surprized I can remember all these names in spite of never taking an eastern civilization history class.
We just started with the Zhou in our own history class. But yeah, I'm not going to prod into things I'm mostly ignorant about and therefore not going to really worry to much aboot right now.
