we're having a poor-man's christmas this year...
it's so weird that everyone in my family is having money problems at the same time whee
so everyone was discouraged from buying gifts, instead they're supposed to bring some food so the family can all get together and have a really nice meal.
But knowing my family, everyone went without eating for 2 weeks just so they could buy a little something for everyone else (I know I did xd ).

actually my mom almost filed for bankruptcy (i know that's misspelled gimme a break I just woke up)... we're kind of VERY broke but she always goes out of her way to get me something relatively expensive ^.^; I feel terrible about it but she refuses to not get it for me D: my mom is crazysilly that way

my mom bought two nintendo DSs D: she's craaazzyyyyyy.... she's going to sell one of them back... she just feels bad about the fact that I almost got kicked out of college cause she couldnt pay the bill and she wants me to enjoy my college years instead of worry about money so she just wants to make me feel like it's not that bad

all the women in my family do that! xd
my Oma will try to give my mom money, and my mom will hide it in my Oma's room so she'll find it later.
and my aunt it constantly hiding cash that my mom has given her in my mom's coat pockets, or even stuffing it back in her purse.
If my mom tries to give me money (when I know she needs it more than I do) I usually just wait till she goes to take a nap then I slip it back into her purse.
