"Yes, it was enchanted. Then the Humans cut down the trees....that was many years ago though. Hundreds, actually." She sighed sadly. "The Fair folk and other sorts of fey creatures used to reside within the wood of Eire. It was a sactuary for them. Though, the ether world was actually safter in the end." She laughed softly. "Then, the Fair folk left and the little ones and big ones of power with them. Soon, we vampires, lycans, and demons were all that were left that weren't human." She sighed and shrugged. "So, I left and went to Crimea and other such places throughout Europe and Asia...."She shrugged. "Then, I came here upon a fluke in the 80s." She laughed and closed her eyes, the looming shadow of her lashes over their grey-blue depths looked as a tormented sea once more.

Still looking at the sky, Rauvn nodded slightly. "You've seen more than I have." He glances to Alistair momentarily and nervousness flits across his features. I wonder if she would mind if I asked... Rauvn looks momentarily distressed and then covers his features again with a smile. He seats himself once again on the log.

She laughed softly, "Well, I'm over 800 years old, Rauvn." Then, she stepped beside him and sat down herself. She sighed at the thought of ETERNITY ahead. "I'm bored with it, to be honest. I stopped aiding in the killing of any species long ago. I only attack when attacked. When threatened, I prepare to defend." She tapped the hilt of her hidden sword. It was conviniently strapped to her back, but reachable all the same. "I was blind when I agreed to become a vampire..."

Rauvn nodded slowly, thinking to himself. 800 years old, unbelievable... "Why did you become a Vampire, Alistair?", he asks, looking into her eyes. "And why don't you like it now?"

She sighed, "I was entranced by the most beautiful man I had ever seen. He and I spoke for three nights in a row when insomnia had been driving me out of doors. He told me he was a vampire and I loved him for that. I thought he'd be around forever to teach me what I needed to know and then, perhaps stay longer and learn with me the rest of the nature of being what we were. Then, I thought I could help my village more if I were a vampire." She laughed in a sarcastic manner. "I was engaged to be married when I disappeared. I showed up about fifty years later and didn't look a day older....I was about 19 when I left and 69 when I returned." She shrugged. "I don't much care for it because I know that the only way I can die is if I am killed. I no longer have the mortals promise of an inevitabl death. Enternity is not as appealing as it seemed nigh a millinium ago."

Rauvn chuckles softly. "You could still help mortals though." He shifts uneasily. "I do suppose that immortality does get boring. It is why I entered Torpor once." He again sends his mind to brush against yours, nothing offensive, nothing harmful, just a feeling of what you are about. He winces slightly as he does this, the strain obvious. I know she can feel this, I just hope she doesn't think it is intrusive. I think she's like me in some ways...if only I could feel her mind... "Have you been alone most of your years?" He arches an eyebrow in question, his face still showing strain.

She nodded. "Yes, for the most part. I took company for short spells. But, in the end, I was pretty much alone. Such is the life of one who si damned." She shrugged. Then, she narrowed her eyes. "You won't get in. Just ask me what you want to know. My mind is not open stomping grounds, Sir Rauvn." Then, she closed her lids once more and re-enforced her carefully made wall.

Rauvn quickly looks away, his countenance carefully hidden. God help me with this one. Without looking at you, he begins speaking. "You've never completely drained a mortal, have you? Never taken more than you've needed or fed just for the sheer pleasure of it, have you?" He begins reaching his hand towards his sleeve, but stops mid-action and lets his hand fall into his lap. He is still looking away from you.

She shook her head. "No, I have not. It is not my place to decide that a mortal should die. No matter how disgusting and ignorant and meaningless they are." She was perfectly composed, the expression on her face was the sort they etched into stone : impassive. "I only feed when I must and then only as I need and generally from a willing host." She shrugged.

He whips his head around to stare into Alistair's eyes, his braids whirling about. "You and I, we're not too much different then." Thought so... "Not too different, just dealt different hands in our Vampiric lives." Rauvn purses his lips and stares off into the distance behind Alistair. "Tell me something: Would you be willing to teach me how you do that shield-thingy with your mind?" His eyes once again focus upon hers.

Vrio Miyoko Nagasaki *She flies by them in her bat form, almost ramming into Alistair. She lands a ways away and transforms back into her human form, however keeping her wings out just incase, slowly elongating them so they will support her weight if she needs to make a quick escape, then she folds her wings behind her and mutters.* "Hmmm, am i missing anything?" *She turns around.* "Sorry about that." *She goes back to muttering to herself.* "Hmmm... Guess not..." * She spreads her wings and flies to the top of a wall surrounding central park and lands, sitting down on the wall she gazes at the three and just watches them.* Vampires only have one form, Miyoko Nagasaki.. Just one, and that one is the vampire themself. Noooo actually they have several forms. They have Bat, Mist, Wolf, Demon-like, and Human. I should know, i've seen almost every Vampire movie, played almost every Vampire game and have an actual Vampire for a friend. And before you tell me that Vampires don't actually exist, you've just never seen one.

((This should go in like the OOC but alas I will answer. In vampire mythology they can transform into mist, bat, and wolf and only if the are in league with the devil or very very very powerful in the occult.))

((Vampires here are (loosely) based on Anne Rice's Vampire novels, in which they have only one form, which resembles human. They don't die from stakes but fire or sunlight, they can't drink the blood of the dead and when they do drink blood they aren't pale for a while.
It's in the FAQ, I think. You should read them, really.))

((Indeed she did, but the image of Lestat is the archetypical vampire for this guild, I think. Anyway, I'm here for RP reasons.))
