Shadow sat in his cell. He shivvered slightly, he didn't know why. It wasn't even that cold. But he felt something was up. He looked at the dull prison wall. He was sick of all of this. How long since he was captured? He didn't even know anymore. He then stood up and started punching a wall. He had to keep his Gouken nice and sharp. Even though the old man who he made friends with was dead, he still had to keep up his training. Even if it did suck training all alone... In a cold dark cell...

Hyuuga Elruda walked through the deserted streets of Konoha, frowning slightly as she neared the ancient Hyuuga compound. It was already evening and the moon and first star have begun to illuminate the night sky. She knew she should be excited...for tomorrow would be the day she start the academy. To her it would mean a new life, the end of child-play and the first step towards the long road for a shinobi. But due to the current events, she wondered if any of the other shinobi parents would even allow their children to attend the classes. It seemed that they all shut themselves up in their homes, point blank refusing to fuel Konoha with their former village spirit when the Fire Master claimed the village his.
Disgust flickered across her face. Konoha was not his. This village belongs to all of the villagers, especially those whom risk their lives, with their Hokage as the foundation. But it all changed. The Hokage was now nowhere to be found in the village she should be protecting and past half of the village fled, including her parents. There were rumors that the refugees sought to join their Hokage's growing army so that she could someday reclaim Konoha. Before the Hyuuga girl could dwell longer on how her parents abandoned her, Elruda reached the compound. She pushed open the dusty gates and set forth to meet her remaining family.

That night, Elruda was rudely awoken by shouts from outside. She quickly darted to her window and gently pulled back the thick, cream-white curtains. The sight that greeted her did not in the least surprise her. It had become quite common since the Fire Master took over Konoha; the sight of captured refugees forcibly dragged back to their former home.
But when she attempted to return to bed, Elruda found that she could not sleep. She thought things over; originally, she had planned to escape Konoha once becoming Genin. But at the way things were progressing, not to mention that security was rather lax at the moment even though the Fire Master was doing his best to prevent more people from fleeing...if she doesn't leave now, when security tightens, the chance would be lost.
But the odds would be against her, Elruda did not know Bunshin no Jutsu nor Henge. Also, she was not very strong physically and it'll be a problem should she encounter wild animals. The Byakugan was also both a advantage and a disadvantage. Even though she did not master the doujutsu, she should at least be able to avoid most immediate dangers in the wilderness. But if she stayed, the fact that she had a bloodlimit also meant getting past the sentries, once security tightens, would be a major headache. But when should she leave...? Tonight... Elruda decided. The earlier, the better.
All thoughts of sleep abandoned, Elruda pushed aside her blankets. For the rest of the night, she scoured the compound, taking with her things that would be useful - rope, a tinderbox, a neatly folded blanket, her journal, around four days worth of dried food, and some water in a canteen. She also stole the world map from the ancient Hyuuga master study. It hadn't been used in ages, no one would miss it. When she was done gathering her supplies, she stuffed them into a leather traveling bag (like Sakura's when she visited the Wave country). Elruda had no money but she decided for now that it did not matter. She didn't pack alot of food but she wasn't a heavy eater, she will make it last a week.
With that, Elruda sat down and examined the world map. Suna was out of the question, there was no way she would survive the harshness of the desert. Also, Kirigakure was too far away and she would have to cross the sea. If she chose to flee to Iwagakure, that would mean a week of traveling in the mountains. Otogakure was out of the question, fleeing to a 5th Dawn controlled village was almost as bad as staying in Konoha. Amegakure. If she was to escape west to Ame, she would have to stop by a town named Tanzaku Gai first. Then she would have to continue traveling to the border town from there. When she cross the border, she would have to travel through the swamps to reach Amegakure. It was pretty far but closer than Suna was, at the least. Also, she could stop and rest in the two towns in her way. Perfect.
But should she ask a remaining jounin to help? Elruda decided against it. Some might have turned their loyalty towards the Fire Master. With that, the raven-haired girl quickly got dressed and stuffed the map into her bag. She slung the bag over her left shoulder and tip-toed out of the compound and towards the western gate.

nagi walked through the gate of the hidden leaf village and looked around it was eeriely quiet. he walked down a street and looked around noone was around and the village still had the eerie quietness but random screms could be heard "seems the hokage has been busy or rather the fire master has had a little fun the last few days" nagi thought as he continued to walk down the street" i wonder when ill be apprehended for just blatently walking through the gate or if ill be peacefully let go"nagi thought yet again as he turned a corner and made his way to his clan home"i also wonder how long it will take for them to realize that i am not from this area and havent been for a few years and ive lost my way to my own home"nagi sight out as he leaned against a wall"with this new leadership i wonder how my clan has been knowing them they would rather going into service as spies then be imprisoned for rebellion"nagi said with a sigh as he walked into a main street as it seemed then stared at the sky"poor sensei how hard it must be for her clan to hear the news of her death from that horrible avalancje"nagi said stareing into the star filled night

Shadow continued to punch the wall. After a while he fell back on his a** on the cold stone floor. He started to wonder what life was like on the outside. How whoever had invaded was handling the village. By now he figured there was no one coming. He probably would rot in this damn cell. He then fell on his back and stared at the ceiling. "Why the hell didn't I run?" Shadow asked himself. He'd gotten into the habit of talking to himself. When there was no one else to talk to, it was pretty much all he could do to keep himself from going crazy. "Why did i have to stay and help the village? Dammit Shadow! Why do you always have to mess up!?" He hit the ground and then sat up. He was annoyed at this life. Solitary confinement completely sucked. And he had a feeling that he was going to be in this prison until he died.

Gihen hated walking around the village now that the Fire Master had taken over. The only people he would usually see on the street were the men in his family and some other shinobi. He passed a large, abandoned building down the street. Gihen set his hands in his pockets and shivered from the cold breeze. The slightest shadow or noise set him on edge now. Although, he did notice that the take over was relatively peaceful considering. There could've been much more bloodshed, but people were pretty much only injured. Gihen froze and looked up from the ground slowly. His hand instinctively slipped into his equipment pouch, but he only had his scrolls there. Why'd he have to leave his Kozuka home on a day like this?! Suddenly, a cat sprinted across the road. Sighing to himself, Gihen relaxed and continued walking. Life wasn't going to be easy for a while.

nagi wandered through the village and passed childhood hang outs and saw phantom images of children playing happily and chatting in an unhearable whisper of nostalgeia"i cant remember the kids words from that day but i cant remember much around this quiet place i call home"nagi thought as he watched the happy scene fade away as he walked"it all seems to be a dream now that the master has taken over"he thought again as he passed a few houses and was on the road towards the hokage's office where he would take a stroll through the memories there once more

Shadow closed his eyes slowly. He realised his fate, he realised it was all over. He had been stuck in here, being tortured for over a year now. He had lost the will to do anything. It was time for him to die. He didn't know if it was physical torment, or mental. Suddenly, under Shadow's finger, he felt a small metal object. His eyes suddenly opened, he sat up suddenly and looked at it. It was a small metal pin and a piece of wood. It would be very makeshift, but he could work the lock with them. "Hope..." He mumbled. He ran over to the door at lightning speed. This was his last resort. He needed to get out. It was either get out or die locked up. ((DC: 15 +15))

Shadow moved the plank into the lock and put some pressure on it. This was a bad idea, doing this with something as undurrable as wood. But he couldn't be picky. The plank didn't break. With the metal pin he slowly moved each tumbler. Listening for that tiny 'click'. Finally he was able to move all tumblers. The lock opened, and so did the door. Shadow slowly crept out. Was this freedom? No... Not yet anyways. He slowly crept out of the cell. He had to avoide all guards. And everyone, and on top of that he needed to find an exit. Shadow sighed and began to sneak. It had been a while since he did this. But he was still light on his feet. Abnormally light. Getting out would be a breeze. ((Move Silently/Dide DC: 20 Move Silently/Hide: +65))

Shadow moved past each guard with total and complete ease. He half though about breaking a few of their necks as he moved past them, but eventually decided against it. He didn't want anyone to set off an alarm, he just wanted to get out. Finally he saw a window. Light shone through brightly, of so bright. He had forgotten when the last time he had saw the light was. Climbing up to the window with ease he jumped out. Falling to his knees covering his eyes. He sat there until his eyes ajusted. After about ten minutes he slumped against a wall and looked up and down the streets of his village. It was horrifying. It didn't look bad, nothing was burning or torn down. That wasn't what was scary, it was dead quite. The village he had fought for a year ago was now silent. He remembered before when tons of people walked up and down the streets all laughing and smiling with their friends. Now it was silent. He guessed it could have been worst. He guessed the invader was somewhat sane. Or else he would of killed Shadow, and burned this entire village to the ground. In that way, he was lucky. Standing up he imidiatly began to run towards the gate out of kohona. He needed to escape. However after about ten minutes of running he stopped. "Aki, Inoka, Shiru!..." He said to himself. He hadn't heard from them for who knows how long. Had they escaped? Shadow thought for a moment and took a step forward. "They probably made it out. And even if they didn't, i couldn't do anything to help them. And besides they'd want me to get out..." Shadow began his walk again but then stopped one step away from the gate. Closing his eyes he realized he couldn't leave them behind. He realized that they all wouldn't have left until they were sure Shadow was out as well. He had to do the same. They were all his team, and more importantly his friends. Turning around he began to walk back into Kohona. He realised that the invader would most likely keep documentaition of everyone who was captured somewhere like in the Hokage's office. But could he sneak in? Maybe he could just run around and stumble into them by dumb luck? He didn't know. But he had to stay low and out of sight. Blending back into the shadows of Kohona he began to stalk the city looking for a clue as to where his team was. ((Move Silently/Hide: +65 DC: Any enemys spot/listen check))

(I'm telling you guys now, those of you with weak stomaches don't read this post. I'm gonna color it white and if you wanna read it then highlight it or something.)
Aki was chained to a wall. She was beaten to a pulp and most of her clothes were ripped and tattered. Someone had taken much pleasure in beating, torturing and raping her. Her eyes stared into the darkness with an evil glare. One so full of hate that if it were possible she'd rip the hearts of the bastards that did this to her. Everyday a brutish man would come in change a cartridge on the device strapped to her chest and blind fold her. From here, he would beat her until she could no long move her body willingly and rape her. The mechanism that was strapped to her chest drained her of all chakra that her body could manifest and the cartridges that were changed out everyday were the collection of energy her body produced. She was blind folded each time a person would enter so that he could not try and manifest an illusion.
After the man was through with his fun he would then begin to torture her by injecting poisons into her blood steams that caused great pain and begin to interrogate her. The same questions everyday and the same screams of "******** you!" were heard. They would inject the anti-venom every three minutes to keep her form dying. This torture went on for a little over 6 months. And each day as she heard the foot steps approaching from the darkness she gritted her teeth and started into that darkness trying her hardest to break from the chains that bound her.
Today was no different. Aki keeled there with her wrists in shackles bound to the wall as the man injected himself into her. But something was different. The mounts on the wall that held the chain was loose. After all the beatings and rapes the man had just pulled on it a little too hard and Aki could feel her hope. She yanked on her right hand and the wall mount broke from the stone wall and she used the chain to strangle like the life from the man. She removed the cloth that surrounded her eyes and stared at the man that had done this to her for so long. Fury and hate boiled into her soul as she tighten the chain around his neck. The man gasped for air and tried to call for help but Aki wouldn't let him. He was now on the ground back down as Aki stood over him with the chain around his neck. Her legs stood on his manhood and his right arm. She kept her penetrating glare on the man as he turned purplish blue and then finally died.
Aki continued to pull on the chain not satisfied with the amount of suffering she inflicted onto him. But soon after she made sure he was dead and began to search through his body. She was looking for the keys to unshackle her other hand but no luck. She removed the thing strapped to her chest and it felt like life flowed through her body again. Resting a while she focused her chakra to her free hand and broke the last chain that held here there. She made a run for it in her tattered clothes and jumped out the first window she could find. She was somewhere in the village... but first thing was first... she needed to go home.

Inoka shivered as she walked the streets of Konoha alone. Kai had gone, Shiru had disappeared, and if the rumours about Aki and Shadow were true he probably hadn't gone anywhere nice. For the first time Inoka felt glad that her clan wasn't that prominent, or considered as much.
As she turned into an alleyway she was faced with a surprising and horrendous sight.
"Aki..." Inoka said half horrified. But also half excitedly; she hadn't seen the girl in what, 6 months.. ever since she had disappeared one day. But the girl didn't look in very good shape. Concerned Inoka approached Aki with only the thought of helping her in her mind.

((Haha Sky, how did I know your story was gonna be brutal and vicious? Nice work though man... Even if its sick and twisted)) Shadow moved through the village without alerting anyone. His grace was at Jounin level now. He was nothing but a ghost of this place. He thought again of his team. An Uchiha would be loved by the enemy. But Aki and Inoka... Well they were cursed just for being woman. Shadow jumped over some gates and walls until he finally heard a sound of life. Or rather that of one being ended. From a boarded up building he heard the last sounds the man who had tortured Aki would ever make. Shadow slowly snuck to the building. As he got near he saw a girl leaving it. A horrible looking girl, she looked like she was beaten like a dog. Blood stained the rags she wore and her face just looked dead. Shadow stayed down as she past. Once the girl had past him he got up from hiding and began walking again. After a few steps another realisation hit him. The girl wasn't some mis fortuned peseant. No in fact it was Kurai's sister. The girl he used to have friendly arguements with, the girl who accepted him into her team even after Shadow had lost everything. It was Aki. He then began to run after her, forgetting any thoughts about stealth he had before. Yet there were other thoughts going through his mind. If this is what they did to someone as strong as Aki... Oh god please let the young ones be ok. Please tell me Inoka and Shiru didn't suffer this fate... Shadow turned into the allyways of Kohona running to Aki and Inoka. Although, all Shadow could think about was getting to his team. He probably should of thought of a better way to aproach the situation...

Sosetsu had finally walked down every story of the Hokage's tower and was now patrolling the city of konoha. There weren't very many followers of the fire master so he had to stay on his toes, even if the village was defeated.

As sosetsu walked through the street of the village he gently pulled a wooded flute from the safety of his belt and began to play a soft melody the echoed throughout the once silent allies and main streets. It was an eerie tune, yet almost enchanting.
