Zersilo looked over interested. Something else was attacking them... fascinating. With a wave of the hand Zersilo destroyed the skeletons. They wouldn't be much use anyways. Banji also looked over happily. Zersilo nodded at him, and in the blink of an eye, Banji was gone. He went and gathered their special equipment. Banji had his armour and weapon, and the spear, wheras Zersilo had the skull staff. He used multiple objects, to increase the power of the staff.
Smiling Zersilo raised his index finger and motioned the girl to come forward. "I'm afraid that I have a different task in mind for you m'dear, deal with whatever has just entered the premise, and you will be allowed free leave of the my castle." Zersilo said smoothly. Reaching into his robes, Zersilo took out a Red Gem. He handed it to the girl who took it reluctantly.
"Use the gem only if you have no more options, don't worry about knowing how to use it, if the time comes you will know." Zersilo said calmly.
Meanwhile... Banji reached their supplies, and had already had his armour on, he also wore his talisim. And on his side were two swords. In a bag, he had gathered all of the necessary battle supplies. It had been done before hand, Banji had thought of it, so now they would be prepared for it. Having collected all that he and Zersilo would need to fight, Banji took out a bit of parchment, and cutting his own finger, wrote a message for Kyo.
It read: "Meet me and my twin in your room, come quickly, bring Rin." was what the note said. Kyo would have to read it. It was written in the blood of someone he had made a blood pact with. He would be drawn to the note. He had better do everything it said. Vampires were not known to waste blood.

"Aw, you took out all the fun! Do you think that I can beat you and your twin with only this?" Vector taunted him, waving the Red Gem in front of his eyes. Vector smirked. "Someone else is attacking? We're not the only ones?" "Apparently not. I'm playing dumb for now. I still have to figure out what this Red Gem is. It is strange that a stranger is giving this to me. He doesn't even know me, and would certainly have my head cut off." "Do you think that the gem will hurt you?" "For some odd reason, I don't. He's a nice person, I think." Vector examined her surroundings. She could easily charge at him...but it wasn't a wise move. Everything would fall apart if she killed him. Plus, he wasn't too bad of a person himself. She tapped her foot on the floor, staring at him.

After walking throughout Banji and Zersilo's castle for quite sometime, she was still unable to find the vampiric twins and her husband. Resting her back against the wall, Rin slid down to the floor still dressed in her conforming armor that hugged her body and curves, and her weapons were still strapped on as well.
Sighing softly, she rested her head back and closed her golden eyes. She personally wondered how well she would do up against Ryu Tokugashi, for it had been 14 years since she last saw the demonic vampire, and hopefully now at the age of 19 years old...this would be the last time she would ever have an encounter with him.
~* FLASHBACK TO RYU HISTORY *~
Ryu Tokugashi was born to his mother and father hundreds of years previous to the birth of Rin. He had unmistakeable features that were burned into her mind from the first deadly encounter she had with him at the mere age of 5 years old...14 years late now at 19...the memory still stuck with her as if it had happened yesterday.
She was living in her small house with her mother Ambriel, who would surely go to heaven when she died for her good deeds and everything she had ever done in her life. Ambriel would surely obtain the position of a high ranking angel, however, she was still young only 28 years old when her death would come.
Rin had no idea where her father was, all she knew was that he was a grand, elite warrior and a very handsome man from the magic that her mother worked to show her images. Her brother was a fine warrior as well as resided with the Odah, giving casual check ups on his mother and little sister to make sure they were doing fine. Til this day Rin still wondered angrily why her father or brother had not come when she needed them most.
It had been late in the night and 5 year old Rin had been sleeping soundly until she heard loud bangs and a great commotion. Her hands had begun to glow pale violet and gold, the colors of her magic for her mother and her older brother were training her as a mage. The master mage, Keitaro Nagao, was immortal and therefore he did not age one bit and remained young and handsome in his 22 year old form. He had taken a liking to his apprentice (Rin), but had her mother take over for her training since he had to leave upon business.
When the loud bangs sounded, Rin crawled forth from her bed and peered out the doorway to see the front room of her small room completely trashed. Her mother Ambriel had sprouted large, white feathered angelic wings and her hands were burning brightly in a golden aura. As for her opponent, it was Ryu Tokugashi, his eyes menacing and written with death. From where the young child sat, she knew her mother would not win...but she desperately did not want to believe it.
Before her very golden eyes, she watched as Ryu murdered her mother brutally and then sunk his vampiric fangs into her to finish off her blood. When his eyes landed upon Rin, he only smirked smugly and the finally spoke.
"Rin...I will haunt you...I will watch you...I will be your living nightmare for the rest of your life. Ambriel was unworthy...defying to marry me and she went running to your father instead. Well what goes around comes around my dear, and now...she paid the price. I will always be your worst fear...."
From there Ryu disappeared in a puff of black smoke and Rin could remember watching her mother's soul rise and then disappear. Upon smelling smoke, the 5 year old realized Ryu was burning her house down. Running outside barefoot in the snow in her little kimono, she watched as her home and mother's dead body perished.
As she ran to her older brother's camp, Ryu's face and words continuously ran through her mind, and at such a young age she knew that she had to train her magic and become strong like her brother. So she resided with the clan from then on and just lived her life. She had sent word when she was 18 to Keitaro Nagao about the main history of what had happened since he had left his apprentice, but she never received word back.
This was the reasoning she was so determined to kill the powerful vampire Ryu. He had murdered her mother and then stalked her for the last 14 years in her dreams and in her mind. It was a time to put an end to it all. She knew deep down that Ryu was lured by blood and war, which was the reason he was intrigued by this new battle oh so much...not only that, but also because he could finally face off with his opponent...Rin.
~* END OF RYU HISTORY FLASHBACK *~
Rin's normally cheerful golden eyes had become distant as she stood up and began walking the halls again as she remembered everything about Ryu and the hate she felt for him slowly spread through her like a raging forest fire. She would kill him, even if she was hurt or died in the process, no longer could she live with Ryu's curse upon her...not only for the sake of her family and friends would she defeat him, but for her own as well.

((Yeah, I understand being busy. wink ))
"Very well, Zersilo, I will speak more with you later." Zersilo had an ego to big for his body, and it will probably land him in some trouble. Perhaps someday he would be wise enough to understand the meaninglessness of world domination. After all, every time you take over a world someone will show up, when you least expect it and stab you in the back so to speak. For Zersilo, Markus could see this being either Kyo or Banji.
After Zersilo left him, Markus returned his attention to Kyo. The man had been asleep, and this was Markus' chance to make a move.
He pulled from his robe a very small dead black beetle, and set it on the floor. After a brief chant the small beetle came to life, and slipped under the door into Kyo's room.
The beetle soundlessly crawled across the floor, to the foot of Kyo's bed. It's bite was painless, and it took only a drop of Kyo's blood, then crawled back out the door and returned to Markus.
Markus completed the spell by eating the beetle, and ingesting the blood. He was surprised when the result wasn't as he had anticipated. Instead of knowing the exact condition and location of Kyo alone, Markus received the same feeling towards Zersilo. Then he remembered that the two had been blood brothers.
"Zersilo, you shouldn't spread your blood around so freely." Markus murmured to himself. After this, he took out the black orb, and left the netherworld to the surface, but, so as not to leave a trail back to his tower, Markus teleported near the Ico encampment, and began walking back to his tower. Markus would have the greatest view of the upcoming battle from the safety of his tower, thru the eyes of not only Kyo, but of Zersilo as well.

(( OOC: We should make a plot summary then. The Ico plot has been put on hold while more interesting events are taking place in the Netherworld. More specifically, this plot takes place around Zersilo's castle. Kyo, Prince of the Netherworld, wants to wage a war against some people that pissed him off. Zersilo and Banji forge an alliance with him, sealed with a blood pact. Rin is increasingly worried about Kyo's safety in battle. She leaves to deal with a threat -- a nightmare that has been haunting her for her entire life -- while Kyo prepares for war. At the same time, Genesis/Vector has been sent on a mission to assassinate Kyo. Finally, a relatively unknown character, Akurossu, enters the Netherworld only to raise Zersilo's and Banji's suspicions. ))

"Hmmmph, very well... " Zersilo said sneering at the girl. Reaching into his robes, he took out a small ornate box, and tossed it to her. She caught it quickly. Fairly good reactions, for a female. " Use the box after the gem, just open it up." Zersilo explained simply.
He could feel a slight twinge in his head, but decided to ignore it, there was a larger problem, Zersilo needed to gather Kyo and Rin. This new intruder into the castle wouldn't be easy, in the best case scenario the girl would rid the castle of it, and that was unlikely. She would be useful as a delaying tactic, time was not an ally now, so the more the better. He had an idea how to stop whatever was attacking, but the girl would confirm this.
"Have one more thing before you go" Zersilo said, reaching into his robes, he took out a talisim shaped like an eye. "This will allow you to see the energy trail that it will leave behind." he explained quickly. "Now I suggest you go"
Banji watched Zersilo carefully, something had bothered him for a moment, that didn't happen. Someone was up to something. And the necromancer was no longer around... a little too convient, Banji would have to be extra cautious, just in case.

Very Strange...indeed...This place seem to be empty...Well then...my presence...must have been known then... Akurrossu thought to himself as he continued to phase through a wall.
He decided to not waste too much time and leaped upward into a ceiling, phasing through it, and appear in a circular room that seem to be filled with bookcases and the bookcases were filled with ancient spell books. The architecture and design interested Akurrossu as he walked around the circular room. It was almost as though the greeks designed the patterns itself, but it was not, since there was no style of how the room was designed by the architecture design of "reason". After a few moments of looking around and opening spell books, Akurrossu exited the room and entered a hallway. As he walked through the hallway, he notice that it was very dim in light.
The hallway was very narrow and there was only one room to the left and one room to the right. Behind Akurrossu was another way out of the small narrow hallway and there was a door in front of him. " Interesting...this castle is much more of a puzzle than I thought it was." Akurrossu said quietly as he did not want to attract anyone to his attention. He decided to phase through the ceiling and did so without any hesitation. Again it was the same room or at least replica of the room.
Akurrossu gave a slight smile as thought about the puzzling challenge that was set before. Very clever...for the master of the castle...to create..such...a puzzling obstacle....very clever...hmmm...this seems to be more of a spell...instead of a built room...an Illusion to be exact....only a illusion.... Akurrossu thought to himself as he observed the illusion that was set in front of him. All of a sudden it becomes very clear to him, Akurrossu remembered a ancient spell that he had learned long ago. He started to utter a spell in a ancient tongue that was unknown to many of those who lived even in the past millenia. The illusion itself was starting to glow in a blue aura and a spell binding circle of magic appeared right in the center of the ground. As Akurrossu kept chanting, a beam of golden light shot from the spell binding circle and the illusion started fade. The Illusion shimmered away and it showed that there was indeed a hallway with many doors to the right and many doors to the left.
Although Akurrossu got rid of this illusion, he knew there was someone waiting for him. Something tells him that there might be a battle ahead even though it had not occurred to him yet. He somehow felt that he was getting closer to this someone that might be the master of the house and he knew that there is something that might suprise him, but he feels that this suprise might not be a suprise at all, since he was a observer of history of many millenias as he had this feelin, he kept phased through the wall. He knows that he is drawing closer to this mysterious figure as he must see to it that this vision must not be destruction of civilizations.

"Well...he sure is a nice guy." "Don't you think he did that on purpose? Of course he wouldn't just give you something valuable, would he?" "He would only give it to me, so that I could fend off the attacker. He's using me, I know that. But I don't have much to do when I have to wait for Kyo to come back into the castle. Plus, I still need an exit." Vector toyed once more with the thought of being surrounded by shadows and magma. An expression of bliss pasted itself on her face. "What are you doing? We have to get rid of the intruder! No time for daydreaming!" Genesis shivered at Vector's thoughts; they were rather irksome. Vector caught herself and again wore an aura of silence about her. Concentration was something needed by ninjas before and after a battle. Anything could go wrong, and that was the theory that was paid the most attention.
Vector calmly walked away toward the exit. She placed the gem and the box on her belt, which was an easy place for her hands to move in any event of danger. Then she slipped on the talisman. She didn't notice anything different; it all looked the same. She looked up to face a dark ceiling smiling upon her head. She lowered her head down to the floor. Vector's eyes squinted. Many splotches of yellow seemed to stain the floor. Vector kneeled down and gingerly reached out her hand. Nothing. She couldn't feel a thing, save for the cold tiles on the floor. Vector banged her fist on the spot. It didn't budge. She concluded that the intruder was below her. After all, she was on the top floor of the castle.
The wind screamed as it was divided into two. Vector zipped through the air, racing down the stairs towards her foe. Anything could happen. The spots of energy grew bigger as she approached them. Soon, a trail of dots emerged into view. Vector would have to remember not to confuse the yellow spots with the walls or the floor, as not to bump into them. Could she estimate where the intruder was? How many stories underneath her was she? It was close, that's all she could determine. Vector froze. The dots seemed to halt in one position. She looked at the dot intensely.
It was waiting.

Akurrossu decided to phase through the ceiling that was above him as though he was made of sand. As he was done phasing through the wall and reappearing in solid form. He looked at what was in front of him and looked to side afterwards to see if the surrounding was safe. He spotted a shadowy figure which resemble that of a paladin near the stairway that was somewhat a little a way from where he stands, since he was on a balcony. Strange..a paladin...here in the Netherworld....could this paladin...be here...mission ... Akurrsso thought to himself as he looks at the shadowy being.
This struck him very quickly A...Paladin..is here to get rid of someone...a mission perhaps..but no chances of taking risks... With this he takes into consideration and he decided to appear in his true form. No more of masking his true form, this was not the time. A quick flash of a icy blue light shines its brillance through the place. The mystic hybrid's energy seem to spread through the area that it was almost like a wave of energy inudating the area. Suddenly the being before this shadowy figure was a resemblance of a Angel warrior that radiated with a goldish aura.
He examined the warrior that was near the side of him very quickly. He stood there for a moment, still baffled on why would a paladin be here in the Netherworld, but he kept his guard up knowing that anything can happen.

((Poor Zersilo and Banji. I remember a quote, "If you build it they will come." -Field of Dreams, and since they made this castle, just about everyone, has shown up.))
*Once he reached his tower, Markus sat down and began work on his plans.*
No human soul was likely to even approach the Deus X and survive. The human soul was immortal, but it wasn't intransmutable. The Deus X would likely shrug it off, as much as he was likely to devour it.
Markus needed a stronger soul to manipulate the Deus X, and since he couldn't rely on Zersilo's help, he would have to work on a way to manipulate the most powerful magics himself. He would need a medium, and of course he would need a soul...
He looked at his Nightmare. The amount of power he had put into this creature... It had no soul, and the imp that was manipulating the beast...
Demons were made for things like possession. That was the purpose that gods had given them at the beginning of time, but the demons in this world had risen up and seized control of their own destinies. Markus didn't want to enslave the demons again he just needed one. One who was willing or... one who was on the brink of death.

Vector looked to her left and noticed a bright, angelic figure watching him. She merely looked at him, trying to examine him. She noted, rather quickly, that he appeared to be a mystical hybrid. Of what element she didn't know. He was potentially dangerous, as mystical hybrids were the most dangerous. Who was he, and what was he doing here? Vector would have to inquire. She wanted to avoid battle at all costs. The spots of yellow followed this figure. They blotted the air around him. This was the being she was sent to get rid of. But why was she sent to do just that? She would have to find out his side of the story first, before making a decision.
He seemed to be glowing rather brightly. She guessed that he was the embodiment of light. She knew that it wasn't good. Light was a hard foe to deal with, impossible in fact. It could attack faster than any human being...or of any other race. Vector considered her own options. What did Genesis have to offer? Nothing, because she couldn't survive in the Netherworld. Merely existing would kill her soul of goodness. Vector couldn't do a thing about that. What else did she have? Her weapons consisted of two identical swords. Genesis only relied on one sword, but used a spare in case she lost it. Assassins normally carried a variety of weapons along with them. Again, she cursed her luck. Complaining to Genesis wouldn't amount to much though.
"Who are you?" she asked the mysterious figure.
