Yeah, everyone does that.. but that's only one stat.. barely even noticeable. I'm just telling people how I do it.
And it's not a waste to use vitamins on a level one pokemon.

Trae the Wolf Hoshioni Zephyr Alexander I find out when a stat is maxed out whenever I don't get big stat bonuses upon leveling up (Like I get +2 instead of getting like +6 when I'm still EV training on one stat. That would mean that it's maxed out). You normally get bigger stat bonuses whenever you level, because it takes more time to gain the experience needed when you're a higher level. And with the Pokerus, it doubles the EV points you get. So, Geodude gives 1. You got the item that doubles it, and with the Pokerus, it doubles again. so, 1 (the EV point that Geo gives) x 2 (the item) x 2 (Pokerus) = 4 (Total EV points you get) so are you only getting a small hnadful of ev points per level or could one say kill several dozen carps go up one level and be done?? multiple ppl would debate about that... hmmm......ugh yea....someone else can ev train mine.....XD

I'm not sure if there's a post on the guild where someone recommends places to train.. just tell me and I'll just edit this into a neat pic or phrase.
But here are some spots in Soul Silver I've found to be great for training..
Attack
Location: Route 42, Use Surf Pokemon: Goldeen (1), Seaking (2) Excellent spot to train in because you won't see anything else.
Defense
Location: Route 45 Pokemon: Geodude (1), Graveler (2), Skarmory (2)
Pretty much any cave as well..
Special Attack
Location: Route 43 Pokemon: Mareep (1), Flaafy (2), Girafarig (2) Very good spot. The only thing that might bother you is the occasional Pidgeotto which gives you 2 speed EV's.
Location: Ilex Forest, Use Surf Pokemon: Psyduck (1), Golduck (2) Not as great as the other place but still pretty good.
Special Defense This is always the easiest stat to train for. Pretty much anywhere you find Tentacool and Tentaecruel (Ocean)
Location: Route 41 Pokemon: Tentacool (1), Tentacruel (2)
Speed
Location: Route 10 Pokemon: Spearow (1), Fearow (2), Voltorb (1), Raticate (2), Electabuzz (2) Fantastic spot. Right outside the Powerplant.
HP
Location: Route 15 at Night. Pokemon: Nidorina (2), Noctowl (2), Quagsire (2), Chansey (2) Great spot. The only thing to watch out for is Nidorino who gives you attack EV's

For HP, I train in Celadon city where there's a bit of water. Surf there and you only encounter Grimer/Muk.
But... Muk gives 1 HP and 1 Attack point (Grimer gives 1 HP only).
I just found that out O.o, but it worked on my favor. xD
I'll keep in mind what you suggested for HP though, Tentae.

Magikarp gives 1 Speed. If you need a list of what each Pokemon give as EV points: http://www.serebii.net/games/evs.shtmlThis gives an elaborate explanation on how to EV train. You can scroll down and see which Pokemon gives points on by clicking the stat you want.

Hoshioni wait do magicarp not give out speed evs?? They do. But only one. I go for bigger "fish" so to speak. The pokemon outside of the Powerplant give you two Ev's per Ko.. so it gets done faster. Those are just spots I like to train in. If you want to use Magikarp, use them. They are easier to knock out than Fearow and Electabuzz.

I'll be busy finishing my trade. I'm still at 60/283 trades from last night.
Also, opinions on the badge I made for the tournament? And one other thing. If there was one night where you would want to do a weekly guild-wide, guild-members-only, event; what day would you want it on?
