"Wait.. no. What did you mean?" D said as he stalked after the girl. His long legs soon had him catching up with her with ease. "I realize i have changed from what i once was, but i had to.. considering the circumstances..." D stated as he placed his hand on her shoulder to stop her.

"...i would have gone insane had i not." D defended himself. Wait why was he defending himself? D blinked and removed his hand from the girl. His eyes trailed off to the side of him in thought.

Ivy pouted.

"Aw, you're no fun Raz."

Ivy continued training until she couldn't continue anymore. Thats when she collapsed on the silver table and passed out cold.

Angeles listened then watched him leave. She smiled and chuckled shaking her head, "difficult to talk to, exactly like the legends depict him," she adjusted the saddle on her shoulder again before turning to the spot she had tried to sleep in and set her things down there. It would do for a few days until she figured out what she was doing.

Angeles whipped around surprised at D's sudden approach and request. She pulled out her book, "sending Andromeda to bargain for someone's return would be like telling his captors to keep him," she found Andromeda's page and looked up at D, "she's not pleasant to deal with," she looked around, "this room is too small, let's go outside," she turned and began to walk back outside muttering, "though... of all people, she might listen to you."

Angeles looked at D as he spoke to her. His words made her want to cry but she held it in. Once he was done though she looked at the book and began to mutter, words long forgotten that Angeles didn't even know the meaning of. Words before even Dracula's time. She didn't even blink as she scanned the words and muttered them quickly and quietly. The last four words were uttered and above them clouds suddenly appeared, dark and grey, spiraling as if creating a tornado. The end of the funnel turned black before taking the abstract form of a jewel. The jewel then spread two black wings and roared.

"Great, she's in a bad mood," said Angeles slowly sinking to her knees. Andromeda nose-dived towards the two creatures, spreading her wings at the last second and flapping them once to slow her fall before she curled around the vampires. The wind from the single flap of the wind threw both of the Hunter's hair and coats around and she hissed. Her red eyes looked at D before turning to Angeles.

"You again," came a hissing almost wheezy voice from the dragon, though it's mouth did not move, "you better have a good excuse this time, I will not hesitate to burn you to ash."

Angeles indicated to D, not to draw the dragon's attention to him, but rather to have him explain the situation. She was feeling very weak and felt that she might pass out at any second.

The dragon's red eyes turned to D, "what should I care?" her voice wheezed as a hiss escaped from her open mouth, ivory teeth bared in resentment, "I do not know you, nor do I care. You are all nothing but insects teeming over the carcass of this dying world, of which I do not even belong, so whatever is bad for you, means nothing to me," she growled and turned to Angeles who had taken to lying on the ground with an annoyed look on her face, her hat having fallen off.

"You will pay for this."

"You don't have room to speak," said Angeles softly, "because I know your name."

The dragon snarled, emitting a roar that shook the very earth, "you dare blackmail me!?" Angeles gasped before sitting up and standing.

"Andromeda," she said and the dragon seemed to writhe in pain, "I command you to do as he says," the dragon roared again, her voice screaming in rage over it before she calmed and went still, growling in her chest. Angeles looked over to D, "I think... you should go with her...."

"I'll be fine," said Angeles nodding and sitting down again, chuckling weakly, "and threats don't really work."

"I do not fear you half-leech," hissed Andromeda, D reflected opaquely in her crimson eyes before she lowered her head so that the space just before her wings was accessible, "quickly insect, the sooner this is over the sooner I can leave."
