I love just being an arse, and having One of each Termi squad, one GK squad, the max hero's (master, 2 Librarians, 2 Chaplains), Landspeeder/Drop Pod Dreadnought spam, and then around 15 (After increased manpower) squads of infiltrating scouts, all with special weapons. I had 6 squads (3 snipers, 3 Plasma guns) hold of a pass for a few hours to rank up some kills. They're CHEESE! XP God bless Space Marines. Closest incarnation to an army of Chuck Norris' (Excluding a select few Fictional 'verses...)

We have 3 Kroot and their pack leader go all AvP in 'For the Emperor', where they charge things that make Xenomorphs look like puppies. Also sneak up on Eldar Rangers...

Oh man, I want to get Warhammer books so bad. @_@ The Kroot look more like they'd just have REALLY different customs and views on what's acceptable and decent, which could account for much behavior. They die in said rush, in about 8 seconds, which is about 7 and a half longer then the average guardsmen would last. Sneak up on Rangers was in an Old codex (Which is both mail-order only and useless now, so avoid the $20 quote). Easiest way to avoid 40K book trouble is look for the Short story ones in your libraries. Tend to have between 3 and over a dozen authors, so you can see which authors you like. XP Kroot are pretty different from Tau. Damned awesome, too. Unfortunately, most books don't follow Tau. Most tend to follow Space Marines or Imperial Guard. I hear the Last Chancers novels feature a good bit of Tau as enemies, though. Gotta check that myself.
