Connor Hawke. One of the top hand-to-hand fighters in the DCU. A guy who even Batman says could take him. The guy would got kicked to the curb starting the trend that poor Kyle eventually fell to.

Batman knows his place in the pecking order. He's tough, but hand-to-hand Connor can take him. Actually, so can Grayson. Bats isn't even in the top five fighters nowadays.

Cassandra Cain alias Batgirl. Shiva former Bird of Prey and assassin. Richard Dragon, trained Batman, the Question and others. Connor Hawke earned his spurs when a martial arts cult descended on Gotham. When the smoke cleared, the only one able to beat him was Shiva. Ben Turner, alias Bronze Tiger. Richard Dragon's sensei.

I've only read about Cassandra in Robin, when she turned bad.
Shiva might have been mentioned in BoP since I started picking it up at #96 or #98. Perhaps somewhere else.
Without 52, I would never have heard of Richard Dragon. I learned there and in CCC he trained the Question and Batman. 3nodding
Connor I have only seen in JLA and in finding Puzzles for my game.
I have heard of The Bronze Tiger, maybe from 52 or my searching for Puzzles.

Wally_West You're giving editorial more credit then they're due, assuming they could handle more the one character with the same superhero handle. That's true.... and a decent supporting cast is out of the question. I also hate that they got rid of Wally and made Bart an angsty adult. Lame. Clark~Kent Jaeger_Ayers Cassandra Cain alias Batgirl. as far as the DCU goes, I would agree with that assesment, all though Batman would still rank on there rather high in my opinion. As far as martial arts go, bats is still one of the bests in the world.

Who would be on the top 10? I know I personally think Deathstroke and Batman should be on, but it would be intresting to see who else thinks is a 10 fighter in DC
