dEx and Shadow returned to the Hidden Leaf. She knew that the Jounin Exams would be soon. There had been so much commotion lately that she had not been able to do as much training as she would've liked. She smiled as she saw Rock Lee training up ahead. She and Shadow ran over towards him. "Hey Lee! How are you doing?" she said with a wave.

He stopped his training and looked at her with a smile. "Hey dEx and Shadow. What are you two up to?" he asked with a smile. "I'm looking for some good training honestly." she replied with a smile. Lee's smile grew even larger. "You've come to the right place." said Lee. "I've got a great technique to show you. It's called Leaf Great Whirlwind." started Lee.

"This technique is like the Spinning Leaf Kick, but this technique allows you to throw multiple roundhouse kicks in a row at your opponent." explained Lee with a grin. dEx nodded to him as she smiled back. She knew that he would be able to come up with some good training for her. Then he got in his fighting stance and looked at dEx. "Watch me." he said as he prepared.

"Leaf Great Whirlwind!" he called out. Then he lept forward and dEx watched him closely as he began to throw multiple roundhouse kicks out towards an invisible opponent. Then she nodded and prepared herself to try it. "Leaf Great Whirlwind!" she called out. She lept forward and threw one perfect roundhouse kick, but then on her second spin she lost her momentum.

She stumbled landing on her hands and knees on the ground. Shadow ran over and barked at her. "I'm okay Shadow." she said as he went to stand up. She looked up at Lee for guidance as she wiped the dirt off her hands. "You need to get more energy in your spin. Throwing each kick uses up quite a bit of energy so you will need plenty to perform multiple kicks at a time." explained Lee.

dEx nodded to him as she thought over his advice. Then she focused her energy again as she prepared to attempt the technique again. "Leaf Great Whirlwind!" she called out as she lept out and threw three consecutive roundhouse kicks at an invisible target. Lee nodded and smiled to her as she landed out of the spins and faced him. "I think you have this one down." said Lee.

"Do you have anything else that you can show me?" asked dEx hopefully. Lee seemed to think for a moment and then gave her his patented nice guy pose. dEx sighed in relief. She loved the taijutsu skills that Lee showed her and she knew that she would need as many as she could get among other skills if she was going to make it through the Jounin Exams in one piece.

"Yeah, I think I can show you a couple more technique today." he said with a smile. "This technique is called Leaf Rising Wind. It allows you to move quickly and swiftly kick upwards to an enemy to hit them or knock a weapon out of their hand." explained Lee. dEx nodded to him as he took his fighting stance. "Watch me carefully. This technique depends on speed and precise movements in order to hit your opponent before they can react." he explained.

"Leaf Rising Wind!" he called out as he jumped up and threw a fast kick outwards. dEx watched his movements closely as he performed the technique. Then she focused carefully. "Leaf Rising Wind!" she called out as she threw a quick upwards kick. Lee smiled and nodded to her. "That's good. You need to work a bit to make it quicker, but you have it down well enough." he said.

"What else can you show me?" asked dEx. Lee smiled at her. "You'll really like this technique. Create a couple of shadow clones for us to work with." he said. dEx nodded and formed the hand seal. "Shadow Clones!" she called out as she formed 2 clones of herself. "Alright, this skill is called Leaf Shadow Dance. You can use this technique to put your opponent into a vulnerable aerial position." explained Lee.

dEx thought about it for a moment and then nodded. "I see so it opens me up to use taijutsu or a technique like Forward Lotus?" asked dEx. Lee nodded to her. "You start by quickly appearing next to and below your opponent so quickly that they are unable to react. Then use a switch upper kick and launch them high into the air." explained Lee to dEx who was listening to him very closely.

"After that you jump quickly after them and shadow your opponent in the air so that you are facing them from underneath. Then you can hit them with the technique of your choosing." continued Lee. dEx watched as Lee set his sights on the closest shadow clone. Then he lunged out in a flash and was crouched down under the unsuspecting clone. He shot a hard and quick kick before the clone could react.

The shadow clone was sent flying into the air. dEx watched closely as Lee lept into the air after the clone. He appeared just under the clone and seemed very much like a shadow. dEx watched as the two flew through the air at the same speed. Then he wrapped his arms around the clone so that his arm bandages also wrapped around it. "Forward Lotus!" called out Lee. He and the Shadow clone turned in their air so that the clone's head was towards the ground and they began to spin.

The two spun down and the shadow clone smashed into the ground head first and then disappeared in a puff of smoke. dEx nodded and suddenly appeared just under the remaining shadow clone. "Leaf Shadow Dance!" she called out. Then she threw a strong quick kick inot the clone and sent it into the air. She lept into the air and shadowed the clone in the air. Then she formed the tiger seal. "Piercing Fang!" she called out. dEx began to spin like a tornado and hit the clone from underneath knocking it upwards. Then the tornado shot up above the clone and drove it down into the ground causing it to disappear. Lee nodded and smiled to her. "I think that is good for today. I need to go meet Gai sensei. Good luck with the rest of your training." said Lee.

Gana stepped off of his boat, glad to be back inside of leaf village again. "Ah, this is nice." he said with a light grin on his face as he sucked in the crisp, refreshing air of his village. "I think I am going to get some rest and start preparing for the jounin exams." he said wiht a light laugh as he looked forward. "But I think I should get some food first. and with that he began to walk until he was struck in the neck with a toothpick. 'Oww." he said as he turned to face the man who did it with a scowl on his face.
a man walked up to Gana with a large grin on his face as another toothpick in his mouth. "Yo!" he said wiht a light grin on his face as he stood next to Gana. "You are one of those chuunin trying to become jounin, arent you?" he asked with a large smirk on his face. "I think I will be able to teach you a move that will be somewhat useful if anything."
