Man. Eminem's early stuff (especially the Marshall Mathers LP) is way more ******** violent than his later albums.
And a lot better.
Probably 'cause he was pissed at everything.

No no no. A leather catsuit provides protection in the way that wearing a suit like that might provide minimal protection when you're riding a motorbike. It's not armor.
Leather armor uses cured leather, or treated leather to form solid plates which are woven into the main design in the same way that normal armor is made. These solid plates are made to cover the key portions that the armor is made to protect. Similarly, woven leather armor covers the wearer with multiple layers of leather, making it comparatively thick to other armor types.
That example there with the helmet, for instance, either has portions of the leather treated for rigidity and defense or relies almost exclusively on the chainmail beneath it for its actual armor properties.

You know.... Elli, your voice reminds me of Miranda Lawson/Yvonne Strahovsky.
So Van, I both apologize for saying this, and envy it...
But damn that's hot. XD

I always figured when I saw people in movies wearing those full body suits for leather that the places that would had been covered by actual armor would be reinforced or something at the torso and maybe around the forearms.
Because super science and super metals.

Could be, but if they did it would be visible.
Not to mention the fact that wearing armor or any other form of armor directly against your skin isn't very helpful. You only get away with that s**t if you're literally a turtle or something, or you're sporting bony protrusions that have no real feeling.

Probably 'cause he was pissed at everything. agreed. he was so much more crazy [for better or worse] and unhinged. more to say, no problems with who got hurt.

You only get away with that s**t if you're literally a turtle or something, or you're sporting bony protrusions that have no real feeling. Well, I think in that picture it kind of looks like the whole torso is reinforced by something compared to the rest of the suit, I don't know. Not sure if they'd wear any kind of padding underneath like they would other armor, but then again, you can always invoke the fantasy science clause.
