So the possibility that anyone catches and reads this is minimal, but I figured I'd put this out here anyways just to test the waters.

I want to start an RP thread within the central area, the main Hub as it were. Thing is, it's intended to be rather light and humorous rather than the sort of serious adventure that this guild gives off. The basis:

John Smith (my character who I swear I'll put up the character bio soon, really I promise) is opening a sandwich shop, a panini place to be specific, close to the Leviathan Stadium and within the central area of Gaia. Why? Because the location has the lowest property tax and cost since it is so close to the stadium. While the Stadium probably attracts a lot of people, it doesn't necessarily attract nice people interested in establishing a friendly family community and thus it means cheap land. If I'm treading on foots here and there I apologize and am willing to correct any details. In any case, he's opening a shop and trying to make a relatively honest living.

So at this point, you may be asking what the hell is the point and what exactly will be happening. From a self-centered point of view, it's about John Smith trying to develop a successful business despite having no experience or any knowledge about anything relevant to owning a business what so ever. It's also about him finding self-worth and confidence as a person, which is a pretty big thing if anyone remembers their insecure teenage years. Stuff will be happening outside of the thread though, as John ventures into other areas/threads in search of special ingredients and equipment to make his place a success. Examples include going south to find special coffee beans that only grow in some far away temple that is guarded by magical guardians.

Does this mean that the entire story within the thread revolves around John and his quest to make decent money? Not really, other characters will be able to bring in their own plots as well or simply just casually drop by to have a friendly chat and a bite to eat. The purpose though is to bring in an element of light humour and relaxation, so plots that are brought in should match the sort of frivolous nature the entire thing has. Bars are for when you want a shoulder to cry on or want to start a fight, this place is meant for gossiping and ridiculous activities. I have no relevant examples to give at all.

Whew, that was a bit long. Since I can't write down everything so that all eventualities are covered, ask questions. Offer constructive criticism. If you don't like the idea, say so and why! Quite frankly, I don't have my heart set on this so I'm not worried if nobody likes the idea. But if you want to suggest some modifications or curious about something, talk about it damn it!

Doin' fine~ Which is somewhat surprising considering I thought, when I woke up, that I was gonna have a bad day.

First thing when waking up, you know how sometimes you just don't really feel like getting up? Well I had that only top of it I couldn't think of anything to really do today. It's bright, sunny, looks like there's a slight breeze blowing to, yet I'm just gonna coop myself up inside-- oh wait, that's right I have to pick up my guitar from Cassie's house. Bleh, bloody long-a** walk, but whatever. I'll take the trail in the woods, that should make things more interesting.

Sorry, I do carry on sometimes.

I think I'm going to do detailed planning first then post it in here to just check who's still interested. Knowing me, this will take some time as I like to take my time with things like this. Best part about a sandwich shop though is how I get to skip details like lore and a bunch of other things. It's a friggin' sandwich shop built by a gigantic stadium, doesn't really get any more complicated than that unless it's suddenly built over the grave site of an ancient civilization. Which would be funny once the espresso machine starts acting up or having the refrigerator be demoniacally possessed. Is there a character in this guild that can perform exorcisms? Things to ponder and consider for later on. Anyone have ideas?
