Bakura started to shrug, but was distracted when someone turned around the corner and began to walk down the hallway. Mahado seemed startled to see them there, and paused in whatever he was doing to stare. "What do you people want? The pharaoh isn't here right now, so by all means I can have you thrown out." He asked, looking at them with contempt.

Rei glared at him "We are here to visit Nanu and the new child. So no you cannot have us thrown out."

"Well you're done now, aren't you?" Mahado asked, taking a completely random guess. "Stop lingering. And yes, as a priest, I hold a very high position. I can have you removed if you are to be thought of as a threat. Especially with the new heiress and the pharaoh gone, and the situation with Mariku." He looked smug; Bakura growled, moving forward to perhaps hit him.

Hearing everything outside nanu called out "Mahado get in here!" She sounded slightly angery.
Rei smirked.

Mahado frowned, but moved into the chambers, bowing. "Yes, queen? What is it?" He asked, acting completely innocent. He knew he could probably get away with this; there wasn't much trouble he could get in.

"Ah, okay. Do you want me to get Seto to attend to them?" Mahado asked, smirking. The other priests and him had enjoyed taking advantage of Seto's memory problems; they generally gave him the lowly jobs that were usually assigned to servants. He didn't have a problem with any of that, it seemed. They were considering demoting his status.

Nanu was quiet for a moment before smirking "No. You attend to them." The healer said it was normaly for women to be moody after giving birth. "Make sure they have everything they need."

Mahado frowned, but wasn't about to try and pick a fight with Nanu. He bowed, keeping his eyes on the ground. "As you wish, queen." He said, struggling to keep sarcasm out of his voice. He went back out into the hallway. "Is there anything you want?"

Mahado arched an eyebrow, and Bakura glowered. "Well, if you don't want anything, I'm going to go elsewhere. Call for a servant if you change your minds." He said, beginning to walk off, waving one hand.

Bakura watched with a glare as the priest left, and then shifted his violet gaze to Rei. "I still want to stay here until I'm sure you're feeling better." He said gruffly. Bakura never liked to show emotions like worry in public, especially in the palace, but had trouble concealing it at times like these. "Come on." He turned to head away, and was surprised to find himself almost nose-to-nose with Seto, his icy blue eyes studying Bakura and his family in an unblinking gaze. Bakura swore and might have swung at the priest had he not quickly registered who it was. "Don't you know better than sneaking up on people like that?" He snarled, as Seto took a step backwards to give them a little space. "I apologize." Seto said, without the slightest hint of remorse. "I would have drawn attention to myself, but I wanted to wait until Mahado was gone." He glanced briefly over Bakura's shoulder at where the other priest had been. His gaze fixed on Rei for a moment, but was back on Bakura after a moment. "I need your help. I don't think the other people here would readily agree to do this, and you were the one who suggested it, I believe. I want to get this done soon, because of Ayira." He looked again at Rei, then back to Bakura. He clearly expected Bakura to dismiss his wife for them to talk in private.

Rei raised an eyebrow as seto sudenly appered. Femi and kek were holding her hands looking up to the man.
