Batsu stayed incridibly silent. His mind was still trying to grasp the question in its entirety. However, he couldn't quite get there. The boy followed in behind Shinzu still, but his mentality was elsewhere. This question really troubled Batsu. If this was Shinzu's way of making someone get a headche, mission was soon to be accomplished. The boy was working himself into a frenzy trying to come up with a solution to this conundrum. Batsu eventually stopped in the middle of the road on the way to the library. He stared at the ground and continued to contemplate why taijusu masters were so uncommon. Poor Batsu. It seemed like the more he thought about this the further from sense it made. Great, the boy completely screwed... and to make matters worse, Shinzu went off and left him. Not only did he have to find an answer but now he had to go around and find his teammate. Quote: Training:Shinzu is curious as to what Batsu knows about Taijutsu. DC: 20 1d20 [1]auto - fail 3/10

Batsu broke into a run trying to find Shinzu. It wouldn't be so bad if he knew which way Shinzu usually went. Howeve, he didn't. So this made things just that much arder. Ever now and then, he would see what loked like Shinzu but they turned out to be other people. Jeez, this was insanity. Eventually he DID find Shinzu and started following behind him again. But still... Batsu didn't know how to answer the question. Quote: Training:Shinzu is curious as to what Batsu knows about Taijutsu. DC: 20 1d20 [1] auto-fail 3/10

Batsu had just one guess, it was a wild one though. "Hey Shinzu... does the fact that training takes longer for a taijutsu user to deal a lot of damage in comparison to ninjutsu have something to do with it? Because I'm not quite sure that I'm right." Batsu started kicking up dust as he followed Shinzu, awiting his response. He PRAYED that it was right, otherwise he'd have to go back to the drawing board... something he did NOT want to do. Shinzu nodded when Batsu answered his questions, not bad he understood the basics at least. "That's part of it yes, but not the whole deal. You know as well as I do that being a ninja is a lot more then Combat. No matter what Masaraku may want to believe." Shinzu sighed as he finished his sentence, his lost battle against her still stung, damn Hoshigaki. Despite himself Shinzu's hand clentched into a fist. "Anyway, how do you think a Taijutsu Specialist overcome thier weaknesses? Oh and who do you think would be a Taijutsu user's greatest opponent? Here's a hint, it's not a Ninjutsu User." Batsu continued to follow Shinzu and as luck would have it, more questions followed. At least these were easier. He still continued on through the town and ended up being distracted. He never went the village to get to the library, so taking Shinzu's route was more so sightseeing to him in comparison to anything else. Even so, the boy faced forward again and went back to pondering the two questions that his team mate asked of him. The first question was ridiculously easy, so Batsu slid his hands in his pockets and started to rattle of his answer. "A taijutsu skillsman would do what any other sane person would do... train harder and try to find out any way to use their opponents skill as a handicap. Like you said, battling isn't about brute strength... and since when have I taken Masaraku's advice for anything. She may be a team mate, but she is not fit for leading anyone or anything.
... and a taijusu master's weakness, genjutsu. Taijutsu focuses on developing strength and speed. Neither of those can help if you are trapped in a genjutsu. However, if you are up for it, I can help you with that. Not only can you sharpen your brain against mental attacks, but it will help predict and dodge physical attacks as well. I don't just want to help you because you're on my team, but I consider you to be... well... a friend." Batsu's eyes darted off. He hated to show his feelings, but Shinzu was one he truly depended on and somewhat admired. Quote: Training:Shinzu is curious as to what Batsu knows about Taijutsu. Shinzu nodded as Batsu answered his latest series of questions. "Good, very good in fact, but now let's see how you stack up physically, shall we?" Shinzu asked, looking back and giving a playful grin, before taking off down the street. Anyone who wished to know how to use any sort of Taijutsu needed to be in at least good physical condition. Then again he was sure Batsu would be able to keep up with him just fine. (+2 To your next roll)

"Really Shinzu? I'm the fastest genin and you dare challenge me? Fine..." Batsu hopped a bit before chasing after Shinzu. His shoulder-length hair flowing in the wind created by the chase. In no time, Batsu caught up to the other boy... and in a quick motion, he grabbed Shinzu's shoulder and jerked him back a bit givin himself a bigger lead. All's fair in the ninja world, right? Batsu laughed after pulling ahead and looked back to see just how big his lead was. Quote: Training:Shinzu is curious as to what Batsu knows about Taijutsu. Shinzu grinned as he slowly caught up the Batsu though he was still well behind. "This isn't a test of how fast you are, but how physicly fit you are." Shinzu said with a grin. "In other words an endurance test." Shinzu said, as he got even closer behind Batsu, but had yet to break a sweat. (+2 To your next roll)

Batsu still continued the pace as Shinzu spoke but decided to crank the heat up even more. The boy ran even faster. Good for Shinzu not breaking a sweat, but neither did Batsu... even after running for a while. The boy looked back again to see if Shinzu was keeping up. Granted, this wasn't about speed, but it didn't give Shinzu an excuse to run at a snail's pace either. Quote: Training:Shinzu is curious as to what Batsu knows about Taijutsu. Shinzu wasn't as fexible as Batsu that was true, but he more then made up for it with overall physical condition. "And now to crab walks!" Shinzu yelled as he started crab walking, squating, and resting his hands on his head. When he worked out he tended to act mroe like his Heroes, Might Gai, and Rock Lee. "Now you'll wish you had more muscle on them legs!" Shinzu yelled. "But ya gotta work through the pain!" (+2 To your next roll)

Batsu followed suit and sure enough, he was screwed. The boy wasn't made for crab walks. The boy struggled heavily and even ended up breaking a sweat. Why the hell was Shinzu subjecting him to this torture?! The boy held his own, but for how long. Batsu's arms started to wobble as he crab walked and he was definitely hurting. Batsu started gritting his teeth together in frustration but a sound wasn't made. He refused to show Shinzu any sort of weakness... especially since he was in public. After a while, Batsu fell to the ground. His legs weren't the issue, it was his arms. The upper extremities gave out and Batsu hit the ground. He tried to get back up, but fell again due to the same thing... his damned arms. Batsu eventually gave up and sat for a minute to rest. This was harder than he originally thought. But.... he signed up for this, so the boy had no right to complain... even though he wanted to. Quote: Training:Shinzu is curious as to what Batsu knows about Taijutsu. Batsu just sat there for a while on the ground. Some strands of his hair matted against his face thanks to the sweat and he pulled them away. This crab walk took a lot out of him and what made things worse was that the library was in plain sight. He could get up and just walk to the door, but Shinzu ordered crabwalks to be done. So the only way to get there was to to these damned crabwalks. Quote: Training:Shinzu is curious as to what Batsu knows about Taijutsu. DC: 20 1d20 [3] + Taijutsu [8] = 11 - fail 9/10

Batsu huffed and stretched a bit. Break time was over and he needed to get to the library. So the young boy got back onto his hands and feet and start back towards his destination. It was still physically demanding, but Batsu made it to the door of the library. When he did, he pushed off the groungd with his hands and rose to his feet. In a nice gesture, he held the door open for Shinzu since the little rest Batsu took caused the other to catch up. Quote: Training:Shinzu is curious as to what Batsu knows about Taijutsu. Shinzu grinned as he walked into the Library. "Rest while you can, we're going to do that and more on the way back." He said with a slight laugh, as he started looking for the Taijutsu Scroll. 'It should be right over here with the rest of them...' Shinzu thought as he moved into the Library, once again leaving Batsu behind.
