Aria burst out of the trees, she landed heavily next to Xol then bolted foreward, reaching foreward to grab at his throat and pin him to the tree behind him "WHERE THE HELL IS SHE?!?" She was growling, the flecs of green in her eye glowing brightly now.

*Twi could hear all the things going on around them and sighed again*...perfect... *listening to Griffin, and seeing Bell wave at him, he gives the girl a reponse in the form of a light wave from his hand a slight smile. Soon enough he turns his attention to Griffin* I can see that. But if you're so competent of it, you should know not to make this any harder than you need to. A LOT of things happen in this forest and not a lot of them good. All I'm asking is that you might disregard how much you might dislike myself and the BC and come back to the dojo. You'll both be able to stay there until you decide to move on elsewhere. You'd be more than welcome by myself, my son, and, hopefully, my comrades. Besides, Griffin..... we're going to have to talk about what's happened sooner or later..... and I'm going to leave it to you to decide whether we talk out in the middle of the open, or we can talk in more private and reserved quarters. I'll give you the benefit of holding your sword at my throat if it makes you feel safer. *Twi's expression was more sincere than it had been the night before, if anything*

Xol followed Aria's movements and cracked a devious smirk as he let pin him against a tree by the throat. "Mmmm... I love an assertive woman, even if she is a few millenia younger than me." He chuckled, running the blunt side of one of his clawed fingers along her arm.

"Really though Aria love, there was nothing I could do. Mastema trojan horsed himself in Than so he could break into my Keep. Before I could stop him he had taken your mom... I'm really sorry... if it puts your mind at ease that tank is damn near unbreakable. We could most likely try and mount a rescue mission before he cracks it, if you wish." His eyes and voice were sincere. Xol truly was sorry and feeling remorse for losing Aria's mother, however that was the past and now they had to focus on the future.

Fate had always leaned in his favor, and tonight was no exception. With a fanged smile he continued forward, though sprinting now. He could run swiftly and silently for some time if he really needed to. He did not head towards Xol directly though, instead he steered slightly away. It was obvious in the way he moved that he planned to curve widely around Xol and continue towards twilight and the children. He was nearly drooling with anticipation as he went. His right hand continued to twitch as a small glow began at his palm.

She lifted up her other hand and if it hit, He'd have a facefull of knuckles from her backhanding him, a bruise that would possibly last a few weeks even with rapid healing. "This isn't the time to hit on me Xol!" She was irritated by everything that was going on. She let go of him and paced around, walking back and forth in front of him. She ran a hand through her bangs "Crap Crap crap!"

*Griffin grunts and shoves his sword back into its belt clip. Glaring over his shoulder at his sister he sighs, she was always trusting. Turning back to Twilight he shrugs.* Fine I'll tell you what you want to know at anytime; it isn't much of a secret. Bell go find some flowers or something.* He didn't want his sister to start crying again, the sound hurt his sensitive ears.* *Bell lets out a sigh but smiles and pads off to a bunch of flowers near by. Letting out a soft noise of happiness she crumples her peach dress around her knees and sits down.*

*Twilight breathed a sigh of relief at the agreement* I appreciate it... we can talk more safely at the dojo, however. *The next moment, might put Griffin on the defensive again. Twi's blue aura would flare out while he glared off to the side* And that would be the kind of danger I'm talking about. Griffin, if you're going to protect your sister then now might be the time to do it. *Twi was getting ready to start blasting if he had to. My suggestion would be for you two to start towards the dojo... I'll watch your back. *Griffin and Twi would probably, at least, be able to share the tension*.... crude, now what. *Twi would move between the two kids and where the man was coming from. Twilight's sword was still at Griffin's feet*.....

Xol turned his head to lessen the blow of her backhand, however it would still leave a slight bruise. His cocky grin was still perched on his lips as if to say to her he could have easily dodged her grab and slap at anytime. "I know it isn't, but it's still fun as all hell. Plus, I love to see that look on your face."

After clearing his throat he walked up to her behind and placed his gauntleted hands on her shoulders. "Be nice Aria and remember, I'm the only one that can help you get your mom back. So, think about that while I deal with this pest to my rear."

Dissapearing into a plume of black mist, he appeared next back to back with TJ. "
We have trouble heading our way... and it smells faintly of KB. Be ready..." Dissapearing yet again, he appeared roughly half the distance between Twi and the KB like entity.

Interestingly enough, something seemed to bar his path. Something familiar and very annoying. With a slight shrug of his shoulders the man charged forward. Stealth was gone, lost to the forest as he applied himself. Sheer speed was his goal, to beeline straight towards this newfound source of power. The energy in his right hand continued to grow, as the white light became stronger.Strong enough now to illuminate his features regardless of the engulfing darkness. The red liquid of each iris boiled fiercly behind his glasses as he moved. This would indeed be fun, and reckless.

*Griffin sighs and back tracks to his sister. Standing in front of his her he morphs to an overgrown black stallion. Stamping his feet at the earth a light dust starts to rise. Bell makes a noise of disappointment as she lifts herself on to her brother's back. Holding tightly on to his mane and leaning in close she prepares for the unpleasant feeling of charging full throttle through the air. Pawing his hooves at the air Griffin makes a large opposite loop to that of the figure approaching aiming for BC. Griffin is significantly swifter than a normal stallion.*

*Twi was glad to hear no verbal complaints from Griffin. Hearing Xol, Twi glanced to his side in time to see Xol move closer to the other man*.....thanks for the help. *Turning around, he could see a black stallion taking off with Bell. He immediately figured that the stallion was Griffin*......that's a handy trick o_0 *Backflipping, Twi landed by his downed sword and grabbed Shapeshifter, before turning back to Xol* Well Xol, looks like your frontline. I don't think a little forest dweller should be much problem, even if it is KB... *Twi would follow at his own pace behind the children, intending to be the next line of defense if KB got past Xol*

Xol nodded in understanding to TJ's words. "Aye aye el capitan, I'll try not to let you down. Now go and stay close to the children..."

Two blades slid out of the top of gauntlets wrists ( ala Edward Elric from FMA ). He focused on the power emanating off the entity growing ever closer as he meticulously began to charge his own power into his gauntlets hands.

"Haven't had a good tussle in quite awhile, you better be worth it..."

domokun

The man continued toward Xol, even though Xol was clearly ready for him. The power in his hand had peaked. It would be a very simple attack actually. No doubt Xol might notice that the energy though concentrated held very little in the way of power. It couldn't possibly hurt Xol or Twi, and the man doubted it could even hurt the children. He wasn't aiming for the children though. Regardless of how foolish he seemed to be, he had faith in his cunning.

As he closed the distance with Xol he outstretched his right arm, pointing his palm towards the man. He was about 50ft away now. It would only be another 30 or so before he could blow himself up, which would leave Xol ultimately unphased, or so he assumed.

*Twi and the others would be back in the clearing of the dojo by now*

Indeed, he instantly noticed the power in the beings hand was extremely weak. Either this was a joke, a trap or he was just really, really weak. Even if he was indeed lacking of any significant power, Xol was not going to take this battle lightly. When the man started to rapidly closing the gap Xol decided to leap into the air and split up the power built in his left gauntlet.

He sent down a barrage of weaker dark matter orbs that would purposely impact all around his taget, hopefully stiring up enough debris and cause enough confusion to allow him land to the rear with little detection. Once on stable ground, Xol stabilized his right gauntlet with his left as a large black disc expanded outward and beam after beam of compact dark matter exploded out of it towards the beings back. They were still extremely weak as compared to what he would have liked to power them up to, but more then enough to cause a hurting if more than one hit.
