Cerbi was not expecting the sign of affection back. Some how she hadnt seen Shögo to be the fluffy kind. She would be far off in saying that she didnt enjoy it though. Her cheeks went a flush red, and that was when she was thankful for the hat. She tilted her head down so the hat covered her face in a shy manner.
"I don't know. I guess there's always paperwork..." she let out a huge sigh at that one. She was not looking forward to it. But then an idea came to her. "Nah... Shögo... wanna go travel? I'm sure I can find someone to look over Konoha while I'm gone. I just want to go talk with some kages. Especially the Suna guys. Konoha used to have a treaty with them back in the Uzumaki Era... why not go and renew it?" she was coming up with lame escuses, she knew it. The idea of travelling excited her. The only times she had left the Konoha area was for her Chuunin exams. With that though, she didnt get to see the sights or create any connections with people. Yes, she really wanted to get some experience under her belt.

He smiled faintly, he'd never been one to travel, atleast not since he was little but even then it wasn't exactly voluntary. He rubbed the back of his head and smirked faintly.
"I suppose it couldn't hurt to go with you, you're not in much of any condition to really handle much outside of the traveling part. But wouldn't this be better suited to have your body guards or whatever you call them?"

Cerbi's smile faultered a bit at that. She was really hoping Shögo would be willing to go with her.
"ANBU...? Yeah... I could go ask them instead if you really want," she looked away with disappoint evident in eyes. Sure she wanted to travel, but would she really be alright with leaving Shögo behind? And not seeing him for such a long time might be hard, especially on the long trips.
"I was just thinking they could watch the village... I thought that you would be enough if I was ever in danger..." she started to scuff her feet against the ground. No matter what, she decided, that she would travel, Shögo or not. But it would be more enjoyable with him.

Shögo grinned jokingly rubbing the back of his head.
"So you really think I'm that good?"
His cheeks were a light red trying to keep his modesty, whatever modesty there was to him. He smiled lightly at her and set his hands at his sides.
"I suppose it couldn't hurt to travel with you, as long as I got to spend more time with you and makes sure you're safe this time..."

Cerbi pouted a little at his first comment. She hadnt really seen him fight, but she knew that he had defeated the girl that had poisoned her. She had been atleast a jounin, and she had no doubt that Shögo was a strong person, and all else failed, Cerbi could try fight back a bit, even in her condition.
"I'm not saying anything to the first..." she replied, a very small smirk playing at her lips. His last statement had her tilting her head in confusion.
"Wait... what do you mean... 'safe this time'?" she asked. Yes, she knew it was probably something obvious, but she couldnt help but not know what he was talking about. "I just need.... help..." the word was almost foreign on her tongue, atleast in this context.

Shögo thought about his words for a moment and smiled faintly.
"Well, safer than last time we were traveling alone, this time I'll be sure to keep my guard up to prevent occurrences like last time. It's already bad enough you're not as capable as you once were, so I'd rather prevent something worse from happening, of course."
He set his hands in his pockets lightly, he wasn't sure how to convey the confidence he had in himself to Cerbi to let her understand outside of another Kage coming at them there wasn't much in the way of a threat to them, atleast to his knowledge of the strength of Kage's.

Cerbi tilted her head to the side. There was only one thing he could be talking about, and in no way was that his fault. She gave him a light punch to the shoulder, a lop sided smile on her face.
"That wasn't your fault. I was careless, aight?" she gave him her best goofy grin. "Anyways... I guess we should pack then! Let's get going as soon as we can."
With that she linked arms with Shögo, attempting to bring him in the diirection of the office. "Will you come with me? I'll be quick, and then we can go to your place! I wanna see where Shögo-kun lives!" she was getting very excited about that, there was no denying that. In a sense, Cerbi looked more like a kid now more than ever.

Shögo smiled faintly, he still felt at fault for what happened, though remorse wasn't a strong emotion with him, if anything it only made him feel weak that it'd happened, he wanted to redeem himself to Cerbi, if not for just himself.
"Alright, it's not that great of a place, but I suppose I could show you."
He rubbed the back of his head lightly and grinned vaguely as he was pulled by Cerbi to the Hokage's office.

Cerbi gave him her best smile, and continued to walk with him. "That's okay. I practically live at the office these days," she laughed. Truth was, she didnt have a place to stay. She had been offered by a student in the past, but she had declined, she would have felt bad living there and not giving anything back. She was too busy with her hokage duties to do things like the dishes or laundry.
With that the two were off to the office. [Exit to Hokage Office]

Shögo set his hands in his pockets as he made his way towards the gates leaving the village. He turned back to see if the little girl had arrived yet or if Cerbi was still behind him enough to continue going to the village so they could get to Sunagakure as soon as possible.

Aome had ran all the way to her house. Her parents weren't home, but that wasnt unusual. She hastily grabbed a couple of clothing, enough to last her atleast a week or two, some money, and some essencials. When she felt like she had everything she would need for her trip, and possible stay in Suna, she wrote a note for her parents.
'Mother and Father, The hokage-sama has offered for me to become a barganing chip for a alliance between Suna and Konohagakure. I agreed, so I'll possibly be moving there pernamently as a ninja. If you want to come move there with me, then feel free to. I'll see you some time. -Aome'
Was what it read. She walked out of the house, a bit grim, but happy for the possibility of things to come. She walked to the Konoha gates and noticed the man that had been with Cerbi before. She bowed when she got close enough, and averted her eyes else where.
Eventually, Cerbi calmly strode up to the two, a huge grin on her face. "So, shall we go? First stop, Shögo-kun's house!"

Shögo smirked lightly and nodded to the girl and smiled faintly to Cerbi.
"Yeah, lets get going...."
He turned from the two and started to make his way to the gates so they could travel east to his home.

[You will when Cerbi gets kidnapped =P Well, maybe]
Cerbi walked right beside Shögom her smile never leaving her face. "Nah, Shögo, what's it like where you live? Are the people nice there? Is your family there?" she was probably asking too many questions, but this is how she got when she was excited, she got all talkitive and curious.
Aome, however, just walked behind the two, shyly watching the ground infront of her feet. She felt mildly out of place with the two, but the hokage just seemed so happy, so she would deal it.

The fire master had been in his old village for a couple days now and it seemed that a large portion had fled since he arrived. The hidden leaf village had changed a considerable amount since he was last here. All he really felt like doing for those couple of days was walking through the village.

The village almost seemed deserted. Most had left and those who had stayed or that were unable to leave always hid within their homes. 'It will take some time until they realize that I'm not going anywhere and that I am the new leader of this village.' The fire master thought to himself. He always seemed to have a relaxed smile on his face and that he wasn't easily angered. But he wasn't allowing anyone else to leave.
