Aoi has become arrogant, distracted." She looked him in the eye. "You still may never see me. I'm not welcome here."

Seph blinked some, then poked his head out, looking. He frowned some, making his way to Neko's office. Assuming Motoko was still questioning Neko, or had been tied up in something, he knocked. "Neek?"

A hair-fine and sharp edge of chakra was suddenly in contact with Neko's neck, without Kara having even blinked.
"I will never be a pawn." She glanced at the door, and the chakra disappeared. "Remember what he did to her last time." She stepped back into the shadows and disappeared.

-=Neko rubs his neck gently as Kara disappears. Motoko had fallen asleep next to the lake, worn out. Neko sighed, and walked towards the door, never letting the sword from his grip as he opened the door and looked at Seph with a tired smile=-

Seph's eyebrow twitched just as Neko opened the door. He smiled at Neek. Hm. What was that? He let it sit in the back of his mind.
"Been busy, I see." He grinned, noting the worn-out look on his face. "Are you two hungry, or too tired to eat?"

Seph blinked some, then nodded decisively. He had a feeling he knew what that meant, and took a few steps forward. "Do you know where she is, or do we need to chakra-search?"

Seph 'piggybacked' off of Neko's chakra flare, sending a wave of chakra out. It didn't take long for it to return.
"There's a signature I recognize. We wouldn't happen to be looking for Aoi too, would we?"

Damn.. It's already too late.
-=Neko doesn't pay much mind after he picks up on the signatures, coming from the greenhouse. He bolts through the dojo, and out the front doors, quickly headed towards Nyl and Aoi's Chakras=-

"It's nice out. Perfect for winter." Nyl walked right through the front door, rather confident she'd paid her dues for it this time. She bowed slightly to Seph before heading back to her room to go to bed.

"It is!" Seph smiled and returned her bow. "Sleep well. You deserve it." He walked towards the porch and rubbed his chin softly. "Something doesn't feel very right, does it?" He was answered in his head. "Oh, right! Neko mentioned Kara, didn't he." Another pause. "..Yes, I do think that's what he's doing, why?" Again, a pause. "Well, I'll post sentry just in case, okay?" He nodded, then hopped up onto the roof. Despite being issued the duty of watching darkness for the next few hours, he had a content smile on his face.
