Abandoning her tea, she stood, casting a barrier to protect herself and Jesse from harm. Looking around, she wondered what the meaning of this was, where it was coming from. Then she saw Reko again, having returned from earlier. "Why do you do this?"

Reko tilted his head and cocked a brow. "To see how you've trained, of course!" he replied, waiting.

"In the hand combat, use of guns and use of the elbow blades only, truly. That and .. strength training with endurance." she said softly, looking down a little with a shy expression. "How would you know what my skills were like before for comparison?"

Tilting her head, she stared at him for a moment. Such a simple answer and yet it left many questions also. "How? Why would you want that?"

She nodded, understanding better. "What are the terms?" she asked softly, looking to him with a curious, almost upset expression. "I would assume you have few or no terms from my observations in the past. However .. I believe it is a good idea to ask, just to be certain. Everyone else almost always seems to have terms or conditions to follow." she said softly, rolling her neck and shoulders some, considering what she should do.

Hher eyes went wide, with slight disbelief and hesitation. "Aye, I know several spells .. though I do not much care for such a challenge. Especially when paired with someone whom I know has a high tolerance."

She paused a moment, thinking back and then closing her eyes. Her hand waved a bit and her head shook as she realized why she was so confused now. "Now wait a moment .. you wish to see how I have improved and yet now you wish to fight in an area that I have not tried to improve?" she asked softly, looking to him with bright eyes, curious and confused, eager to understand.

"Yes .. I understand and can agree with that statement absolutely. I am accustomed to having many rules to follow. When training with the others here .. usually they wish to observe only that which they have been teaching or have other conditions they wish to see followed." she said softly, bobbing her head. Looking to him with a somber expression again for a moment, she tilted her head. "Must we today?"
