((Two good rolls and I can't use either of them thanks to this bs of a fight! Oh Gid, how I hate you now!))
Batsu sighed heavily as he charged toward Shinzu. He wasn't really up to these terms, but he made sure to at least try... even if he knew failure was inevitable. The boy ran right up to Shinzu and immediately went for a double punch combo. Granted, he wasn't very strong, but for what it was worth the punches had a bit of power behind them.
Punch 1: 1d20 [18] + MAB [8] = 26 [Miss] Punch 2: 1d20 [14] + MAB2 [3] = 17 [Miss]

Shinzu smiled as Batsu tried to punch him, now this was fun. Fun as it may be for Shinzu he really was watching his teamate's every move, with some structure he could put his flexibility to use... Meanwhile though, Shinzu made as to slap away one of Batsu's punches with his right hand, unfortunately he missed. Oh well, he formed his left hand into a fist and aimed a punch right at Batsu's gut.
Grapple: Roll(6) + MAB (13) + Taijutsu (4) = 23 Miss ( gonk ) Grapple: Roll( cool + MAB ( cool + Taijutsu (4) = 20 Miss

Batsu sidestepped the first punch and as he did he saw another one coming for his stomach. The boy quickly turned and went for a double roundhouse kick to Shinzu's head both times. The boy growled in frustration and wanted to get at least one hit in before Shinzu finished him off. It would be even better if he got the first hit... unlikely as it may be.

Damn Batsu was a wily one! Shinzu thought as the ranged fight dodged both of his attacks, and then launched a counter attack. Once again Shinzu tried to grab at Batsu's attack, his kick this time. This time it worked! Grabbing his leg during his second kick, Shinzu moved his other hand further up Batsu's leg, and using Batsu's momentum, as well as his own pure strength, Shinzu through him hard to the wooden floor. Shinzu landed on Batsu's back then with his knee, as he tried to bend Batsu's leg back. Shinzu had effectively caught Batsu underneath him. "You gonna give up?" Shinzu said laughing lightly.

((43 HP - 32 = 9 HP remaining)) Batsu screamed out in pain as he was taken down to the ground. He was already hurt from the battle and this wasn't making matters any better. The boy started tapping the ground furiosly as he was caught in a hold. He didn't want to give up, but another hit like that and he was done for... especially since healing himself was forbidden... per Shinzu's request.

Shinzu grinned as he stood up, and held his hand out to help Batsu up. "Not too bad Batsu... Though I think I know of a way to make you better." Shinzu said. "If you're interested that is." He really hadn't done that bad, if he hand't been hurt earlier, and perhaps wasn't as much of a wimp... But eh, he was a Ranged/Medical Specialist, one could only expect so much.

Batsu denied Shinzu assistance to get up. Instead, he sat up on his own and started healing himself. He was in bad shape as it was. But in due time, he was gonna get his revenge. But for now he had to deal with the bitter taste of losing to Shinzu... again.

Shinzu shook his head ans squatted down in front of his teammate. "Look you actually didn't d that bad... But normal sterngth based Taijutsu doesn't suit you..." Shinzu looked Batsu dead in the eye. "But! I know of a style that'll fit you perfectly, but we'll have to get you better familiarized with Taijutsu. Are you interested or what? It's always nice to have a backup, you know, if the enemy gets too close.' Shinzu finished, though still squatting in front of Batsu, waiting for his response.

Batsu nodded slowly. He needed all the help he could get. Shooting arrows could only get him so far.
"Sure, what do I need to do Shinzu... and you should out of my face. You're way too close to me and I'm not into you like that." Batsu joked as he put his hand to Shinzu's shoulder and gave him a gentle shove. He was cheering himself with humor, but Shinzu really was in Batsu's personal space.

Shinzu grinned and stood up, stretching his back lightly and yawning. "Well first we need to get a Taijutsu scroll, they should have in the Academy Library. On the way tell me what you know about Taijutsu, okay?" Shinzu said as he started walking towards the stairway, rather quickly. Batsu would have to focus both on keeping up with Shinzu, as well as explaining to him what he knew. It should help him appreciate Taijutsu a little more.

Batsu slowly stood up to his feet and stretched a bit. Even though thebattle didn't last long, it took a lot out of him. The boy cleared his throat. Of course, he started trailing behind Shinzu. Why he had to report to Shinzu was a bit odd. However, he started rattling off what he knew about taijutsu... which, in essence was very little. "Taijutsu is one of the most fundamental ninja skills that every shinobi should know.Taijutsu is hand-to hand combat and requires little to know chakra in order to execute. Taijutsu users work best with high strength and dexterity. In essence, taijutsu masters tend to outlast their opponents in terms of a battle. This is because of their speed and power carries throughout a fight. The two never run out whereas chakra-utilizing techniques do."He continued on. "Taijutsu uses a wide array of attacks ranging from punches to kicks and virtually everything in between. Users of which learn different techniques through training and whatnot. as with anything, the more you work at it the easier it gets and the more damage is dealt." The boy felt pleased with his answer and nodded... waiting for Shinzu's next question. The two had climbed the stairs and walked out of the academy by the time the question was answered. Oh well, at least it was answered. The boy and his team mate were well on their way to the library. That was fine by him. The boy liked to read anyways. Hopefully this taijutsu scroll wouldn't disappoint him in any way. Batsu read books that were a complete bore before. He damn sure didn't want it to happen again. Shinzu nodded as they went through the academy, listening to each of Batsu's sentences. "Good, now tell me. What is the weakness of Taijutsu? Why is a pure Taijutsu specialist uncommon?" Shinzu said as they neared the entrance to the library.

Batsu stayed silent for a bit as he strategically thought out his answer. He looked up at the sky before responding to Shinzu. "Well, taijutsu's weakness is that it requires a foe to be in close range. If the foe is far away then the probability of connecting with an attack is almost impossible. If the enemy knows any of the other jutsu styles or is skilled in ranged attacks then it's very possible that the fight will end up one-sided... with winning becoming almost impossible." That was done, but one questin still remained. Why were taijutsu users so uncommon? Hell, Batsu didn't know the answer to that... and he thought he knew almost everything. Guess he was wrong. The only thing he knew about taijutsu masters was that Shinzu was one... everyone else he knew used a different jutsu style. Heh... leave it up to Shinzu to ask a question that was hard to come up with an answer for. Quote: Training:Shinzu is curious as to what Batsu knows about Taijutsu. DC: 20 1d20 1 [auto-fail] 2/10
