Kuro had grown cold, not only in body, but in spirit. Her heart was shriveled inside her chest and her once soft, warm features were now sharp and stony. Her teacher, Sui, was the one who put her back on her feet.
Sui had known that he would not be able to fully heal the scars that marred Kuro's soul, but he knew in time that she herself would soon mend them. He had begun her training all over again, she was more in tune with her fighting skills than ever, this time without emotions to cloud her judgement.
Kuro walked through the forest her eyes narrowed, her features showed no emotion as though she were a doll. One would never have thought that this being was once so full of life. She continued on her way, seemingly set on a destination.

*Griffin starts to become more uneasy with the presence of another so close. Glancing over at his sister wearily he frowns and shifts a bit. He really did hate TJ, he was the only one who know besides his sister and himself, the full power of their mother's curse. He was pretty sure at this point Twilight might have guessed the curse had been passed on to Bell and that only furthered his anger. He was supposed to protect his sister, but with someone else around who could blab their secret he only felt stressed.*

*Griffin was not the only one to feel stressed by the arrival of several more people. Twi already knew Griffin held discontent towards him..... Xol and Soondu's "innocent" presence would only harm his intent. Turning to Xol with a less than pleasant glare, Twi answered* Your timing is atrocious as ever. *Truthfully it was a wonder how Xol could have followed TJ's eyes, since TJ had been seemingly asleep when Xol came* I choose not to answer your question because I don't know your intent. I'm just making sure those two are safe. *There were many ways Xol could confirm that they were Kai's children, but Twilight would not admit anything. Griffin actually had less reason to be apprehensive than he believed, for Twi had yet to know that Kai's curse was inherent, and Twi wasn't going to jump to conclusions* The boy already hates my guts... I don't need him thinking I'm gathering an attack squad on him.

*Most of the time, anyone would feel at least a little bit of hostility in the air by now... Jason was no exception however all that ment was that instead of walking along any given path, he slipped between the trees and disappeared to vision and other 'normal' sences. Most extrordinary abilities for sences could most likely find him easily.*

Somewhere off in the forest, there seemed to almost be a sense of serenity. The darkness only helped with the calming mood. Sitting on a large branch, high in one of the trees, the man held his victim tightly. The boy was too terrified to run or fight, and he'd long since stopped screaming. He had no voice now, for the man had been playing with the boy for hours. Letting him run simply to be caught and dragged into the shadows, letting him find an adult simply to watch his would-be saviour die. The boy was lost beyond hope, and that was just the way the man enjoyed his meal.
And so he started into the meat, it was both fresh and tasty. The boy frantically kicked and beat at the mans back as the mans fangs sunk deep into the childs neck. It was useless to resist the mans strength, but the boy fought simply because nature demanded it. After a minute or so the boy simply gave up, and went limp in the mans arms. There was a rythmic drawing of blood from the boy, bringing the child closer and closer to death. It was nearly sensual as the man forced him to dance on the brink of death. And then, all too soon it seemed, the boy was gone. His useless corpse slid free from the mans arms, and dropped heavilly towards the ground. It hit several branches with a dull thunk, before falling into the dirt.
The man smiled at this and simply laid back. His job was done.

Xol simply quirked his brow at TJ's glare and continued looking at the children. " Yes, I do tend to pop up at the most inoportune times don't I? I wouldn't have it any other way. You'll be thankful for that one day when it benefits you however..." His gaze shifted to the boy who was looking rather agitated at what seemed to be their presence. A few spotty auras came into focus around him, one being that of Kuro, another an unknown male who he had sensed in the BC a few times and the last being just an unknown entity.
"Jeeze Twi, take it easy. I just got back from the bowels of Hell... you think I knew you were spying on two little kids in the forest? By the way you're watching them I can deduce that they have some importance, leading me to believe they might in fact be Kaiori's children after all. No matter, none of my concern. He shrugged, slightly annoyed at TJ's brash demeanor while keping his senses sharpened on the new auras.

*Griffin's pointed ears twitch slightly as he stands. Pulling the dark sword from his hip belt his aura crashes around him.* God, you ignorant asses! Get out of the bushes!
*Shifting in her sleep Bell slowly gets up with a yawn. Her clean purple eyes glance over to her brother.* Griffin? *She stands slowly and straightens her peach dress. Her small wings flutter in slight fear since he brother had taken out his sword. As before Bell remains totally pure and her brother totally corrupt.*

The man was only slighted interested by what he sensed in the surrounding area. It wasn't too far off to get involved if he wanted to, but then again there was no point in walking through a forest just because there were people in it. He shrugged slightly as he wondered. The blood had of course been licked away, and no evidence of it remained to be seen on his face.
Sighing softly, he glanced down at the mangled corpse below. He smelled something delicious, better then what he'd just eaten. With a shrug he rolled off the branch and dropped to the ground. The man landed softly, hardly disturbing the dirt his feet had just landed on. Weaponless, the man would have to be a fool to engage in a fight, unless he was simply arrogant. With a yawn he started to walk casually towards what seemed to smell like his favorite meal. Innocence.
((Due to lazyness on my part we can all just smile and note that my character looks more or less identical to my avvie. Appearing around 20-ish. And yah Xol and all you other aura-reading wonderful people it ain't really KB, just close enough to maybe perk interest? I dunno, just thought I'd throw this OOC in because it clears up a few hours of senseless intro while you guys are trying to get something done.))

*Twi grumbled* I'm trying to take it easy... he isn't. *sighing after hearing Griffin's decree, as well as feeling another aura, Twi decides to follow along with Griffin's demand* Listen, Xol.... if you want to help, then stay back and make sure everyone else does too. *drawing his sword, Twi leapt out of the tree and walked towards Griffin straight from the front, as not to put the boy further on guard* Don't go calling people ignorant with no due reason, Griffin. I don't assume what you do and don't know about this place, but I can almost ascertain I know more about it than you. *Now in plain view of both kids, Twi held out his sword in front of him. For a moment, it looked like Twi was using it defensively.... but that would be put aside when he dropped it on the ground and kicked it over to Griffin's feet. After this, Twi held his arms over his head* I'm not here to fight if you're not. I can tell you don't like me in the least, but that doesn't mean I might not be able to help you......

Xol didn't give any motion that he understood or agreed with Twi, he just slipped off the tree, down it's bark, kicking off halfway down and propelling himself a fair distance from TJ and the kids. Now half the distance between him and the oddly unknown aura from before he let his aura seep out of his body. Something was irking him. The aura to his front had somewhat of a familiar taint to it. Xol just couldn't quite put his finger on it just yet. Instead he simply charged his murky gray aura, cratering the ground slighty under foot as debris rocketed in every direction and blood red streaks zipped along it's circumference.
Like a lion displaying the largest mane, he was warning the unknown auras to either stop and turn around or be prepared to tangle with him.

Aria had entered the forest, she was moving quickly from tree to tree, she could care less about the two children but she could feel their emotions, she sensed her uncle, Twilight there as well but she was more concerned with finding Xol at the moment, she could sense him somewhere ahead of her, and she wasnt too happy about him losing her mother's body.

A quick flash of jade green, and Kobei sits high up in the shade of an Oak tree.
She looks down upon the clearings that open up withing the forest, and waits.

((How noob of me to be dragged off. Meh. Sorry all.))
The man continued forward, obviously ignoring the threat ahead of him. It would be fun to test himself against something so powerful. Shrugging again, he continued to walk casually along. Noting some things as he went. His right hand twitched slightly, begging to follow through with drawing a weapon and firing. It would take time for him to adjust to his new way of life.

Xol moved his focus from the being moving toward him to one that frightened him more than anything at the moment. It was Aria. She was moving fast towards him with a purpose. s**t... He growled to himself and turned to the direction the fiesty teen was rampaging from.
While he waited for her to come into view another aura flashed into presense. Kobei? Jesus christ... what the hell was she doing here? He hadn't seen her in forever and would much rather be seeing her then Aria right now, but Aria was closer unfortunately.
Xol knew he was about to face a F-5 tornado.

Whatever, why are you following us? I'm more than competent in the matters of protecting myself and my sister. *Griffin snorts and lowers his sword, not daring to put it away. Bell creeps up behind her brother with a shy, curious look. Peeking over his shoulder she stands daintily on her toes to look over at Twilight, she waves slightly.*
