That's what we call a "Usage Profile." Samsung makes some good phones but man do they love adding stupid intermediary steps to sending a text message in their software.

I've gotten used to it by now, since I've had my share of Samsung phones. My only real problem with the current one is, since it's a slide phone, it has an annoying tendency to unlock itself in my pocket and then make phone calls, and occasionally buy ringtones.

This is the only thing I have to say about Apple and their products. If there were any product even more designed to have a cult-like slavish following with annoying prattle, I think the universe would implode. I. Am. Sick. Of hearing. About it.

Tragic news from Frelard where several dozen cloves plummeted to their deaths earlier this afternoon following a seven-jar spice collapse. Stunned residents were quick to point the finger at a systemic lacking in pantry organization, while others could do nothing but bow before the inevitable will of gravity.
"It's beyond us, bigger than us, we may never have all the answers." said one, "Those cloves could have spiced a nice pie, or studded a ham, you know? They had their whole lives ahead of them. But you know what? They're studding God's ham now. That's a beautiful thing."

Conversation I just had with Brian:
Me: So.. what other comics should I read?
Him: *watching Shark Week, not talking*
Me: Well, I've been keeping up with Green Arrow, Superman and sorta was with Birds of Prey, but I haven't really gotten into it yet. What do you suggest
Him: *watching Shark Week*
Me: Oh, you think I should read Gotham City Sirens *chuckle*
Him: *suddenly paying attention* Don't read that, I'll be so mad at you!
Me: Maybe I should read something Batman, although I don't know where you'd even start on that
Him: No, I don't think you'd like Batman
Me: Well, maybe I should read Wonder Woman?
Him: No, don't read that. It makes people angry
Me: so.. what should I read?
Him: I dunno... *flips channel to Robot Chicken*
SO HELPFUL! xp rolleyes

Heather, you are exactly what is wrong with comics today. In that, I mean that comics seem to actively try to turn OFF new people from reading. What can we suggest to you, when the companies try so hard to cater to the people who've read comics for 20,30, or 40 years and not to someone new who'd love to jump in, but doesn't know where?
You know what?
Once you send back my games, I'm going to send you my run of Meridian, Sojourn and Castle Waiting. The best news for you that could possibly be is that Marvel is going to be relaunching the Crossgen line of comics, a series of 'outside of the box' comics that helped reel me back into comic reading after I'd fallen out of favor with it. Crossgen used to be it's own company but it went out of business and Disney bought what was left of it. Now that they own a comic publisher, they're bringing Crossgen back. I know you're going to like that stuff.

yay! I'll head to the post office Monday on my way to the Doctor/Hospital. This past week or so has been rather crazy. Sorry bout that.
sweatdrop
That "long running line" of comics thing was an issue when I started reading Superman too. it was overwhelming. I ended up jumping in at the "one year later" stuff and I did read the Death/world without/returns arc, but it was sort of brain melting. Titles like Batman, Action, Green Lantern, etc sort of intimidate me just because they've been around for so long and I know if I looked at a recent issue, I'd be lost. It's especially confusing when they did/do a bunch of crossovers. Eek! Speaking of... when's the next Fables trade out? Last one I read was the Crossover.
@Oni: Oops! I had totally forgotten there was a BC mini! I'll have to check that out
**edit** wrong account posted, but I am lazy and the Laptop is running like molasses at the moment. Sorry!

How many of you have a job where a guy ODs on heroine in the bathroom? You do? You must work in a restaurant!
