"Was it worth the wait though?" Diego smirks, pulling Chayse closer to him. "And you will only have to wait until I am in town for that sort of activity again." He kisses Chayse's forehead. "Because now that I have had a new taste, I do not want to give it up ever again."

Chayse doesn't comment on the worth the wait part. that's very nearly a touchy subject. He wasn't the one who wanted to wait, he was the one who wanted to drag diego into his bed the very first night they met. "Mm. How long are you in town this time?"
