Bakura sighed and decided to speed up his horse a little bit-- so that the children couldn't talk to each other on the way, and to that in case somebody tried to approach them from the front he would have a bit of warning before Rei. Paranoid? Of course.

It took a while, but they arrived at the palace. Bakura dismounted once a little inside the gates, and helped Femi down as well. A couple of servants approached quickly, to put the horses away. Apparently their orders regarding Bakura and his family had been changed-- they were now to be treated as guests.

Seto had been pulled out of Ayira's room, since the other priests were, in a word, too lazy to see to the guests themselves. It would be considered rude if only servants greeted them. So the brunette went, grumbling to himself as he walked. He frowned when he saw the thief and his family. "The pharaoh isn't here. There was an attack, and he went out to capture--" "We aren't here for him." Bakura said, rolling his eyes. He wished Seto wouldn't glare at him like this. "He came by our house. Rei wants to see the queen and the new child."

"I can take you there." Seto said. He didn't know any rooms by names, but could vaguely know their directions. He blinked at the child's question. "I don't really know. Small, I guess. I didn't get a very good look at her. Her name is Mie."

Seto nodded, turning and motioning for them to follow. "I'm not sure if the queen is awake. I've been with Ay--" Seto had to catch himself. "I've been doing other things for a while and haven't checked up on her. That's a servant's job."

Seto ignored the family as he struggled to remember the way. Bakura shifted Femi into a slightly more comfortable position. "She's the dead woman. Or was, anyway. I doubt you know her."

Seto was relieved to find the correct door, and turned to the family. "Please wait here." He said, motioning for them to stop. He knocked on the door before stepping inside, to see if Nanu was okay to have guests.
