Hah, seen it. It would be my life too if the Evo was available in Canada or we had a network that went past 3.5. xp

It creeps into my vernacular on particularly frustrating days.

Thanks Kate. whee
Wow Chris... You should use that for a comic idea. It'll make that letter a heck of a lot more useful.
Is the iphone 4 all that? The first few a friend of mine went off about how useless they were.
I donno, I'm kind of enjoying my luck immensely this month. I got a Grand for over 5 grand and loans for about 10 grand. I just stared in wonder for a little bit before "OMG I got 15 grand!!!" I just about danced. I'm debating the loans but I'll most likely take them to clean out my dept and buy a few pieces of equipment my grant won't allow me to use it for.
Soooo... EEEEEEEEEEEEEEeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!

In theory it's a top of the line piece of hardware bogged down by a terrible application ecosystem. It's the phone equivalent of installing Windows Vista on a Mac. In practice, it's just another pointless piece of conspicuous consumerism. Wah, wah.

Shuh-rug. What's really important about a device gets completely lost in bullshit marketing campaigns and Shark Week intensity consumerism. I know you aren't in love with your Blackberry but one of the key things that sets RIM's products apart from everyone else is that they have the most secure handheld devices in the world. Nothing you send or receive from a Blackberry can get yanked right out of the air like what Freamon did to Marlo Stanfield's crew at the end of the fifth season of The Wire, which is totes legit. Not only does the criminal element swear by Blackberrys, the United Arab Emerites are introducing a ban on them because they've repeatedly failed to be able to monitor BBMs their citizens are sending to each other.
That's not something that your average iPhone Cyberman has any idea about. I've sold a lot of those things and made some decent scratch off the commissions, so I won't s**t-talk them too hard, but they're Fisher Price toys. If you want awesome space age s**t, go get some Android. If you want a no-nonsense workhorse device, cop a Blackberry. That's about all there is to it.

My broke a** is going to downgrade, unfortunately. I got it for blackberry messenger in all honestly and I don't use it at all. Not to mention I pay a lot for internet and e-mail use that I don't use. I just have no idea of what I want to get to replace it but the 80 some what dollars each month is no longer in my budget.

Well if you don't get something that supports AIM, you'll be in my bad books.

******** Smartphones. I'm completely content with my shitty Samsung Slyde, because I pay $25 a month for unlimited texts, unlimited evenings and weekends and 100 anytime minutes. I don't make nearly enough calls during the day from Monday to Friday to ever go over.
I do, however, have an iPod Touch. Lots of useful apps and twice as many useless ones. And did you guys know that it's also apparently an MP3 Player? Crazy.

Yeah, I've heard of those. I drool over the nook more though. Most of those features(all but the phone calling), downloading books and windows and internet and photos. *Gasp.*
