Shinji looked to Aiji another moment before shaking his head and sort of laughing. I'm so confused, that's what I am...He tilted his head to Aiji some, examining h/er eyes to see if s/he'd tell him what s/he was going to say.

Aiji sighed softly, shaking h/er head, neon green locks swaying. I'm sorry to hear that, s/he commented softly. In a lower, almost heartbreakingly sad voice, said, Is it my fault?

Shinji laughed softly and shook his head at Aiji, pulling h/er close into a warm hug. Only a little, because you didn't finish your sentence and then denied starting it.

Aiji...Shinji frowned some and cupped his hands to his friend's cheek. What's wrong? He really didn't enjoy seeing his friends so sad, and he had no qualms about getting on his knees and begging Aiji to tell him what was bothering h/er.

Aiji frowned, shaking h/er head. Nothing's wrong, s/he said, blinking. The booze is kind of leaving me...wearing off, you know...So soon, it's really sad, s/he pouted, fumbling h/er hands around for a glass.

Shinji shook his head and pushed any glass within Aiji's reach away. I really...don't know...if you should keep drinking. Sure, Aiji had only had three drinks, and being a god/dess it wouldn't hurt him - but Shinji didn't want h/er to get hurt in any way - including emotional.

Caught slightly off guard by the question, Shinji looked to Aiji a long moment. Yes... he offered, blushing slightly as he tilted his head to his friend, a little confused once again.

Good, Aiji said softly, wrapping h/er arms around Shinji's shoulders, hugging him tightly, pressing h/er cheek against his shoulder.

It is good...Somewhat relieved the the question wasn't going to lead on into some wild goosechase, Shinji sighed softly and smiled, wrapping his arms around Aiji and holding h/er close. Do you want something to eat? He asked after a moment, hungry himself after their entertainment and drinks.

Shinji nodded against Aiji, not hungry enough to eat if s/he wasn't going to. That's okay. he offered, keeping h/er close to himself. Do you wanna go somewhere else? he asked after a long moment of silently clinging to Aiji.
